Food was all frozen, they did not make fresh naan like they should. They use frozen naan. I am from India and I know how is taste of food.

Bombay Kitchen 419 was on the Foodie Card blindly selected for our random dinner destination. It was our first visit and chose to dine in. This food genre would be labeled as Indian Street Food. This seems to be a very popular choice for take out as people were coming in for their orders the entire time we were in the restaurant. We were presented with a sample of the 3 most popular curries: Tikka Missala; Makhani; and Chicken 65. Pur server was very helpful in making selections as we let her know this was our first visit. We chose a chicken tikka missala and lamb curry with garlic butter naan. Both dishes were very tasty to say the least. The interior is tastefully decorated and is quite welcoming. Thanks to our Foodie Card we received $10 off an order of $30. We will be back! read more

This place has been on my list to try for quite some time. I have been dreaming about this food and am so glad I was able to try it. I stopped in for a quick lunch and tried the lunch veggie Halle bowl with their Mango lassi drink. The flavors, sauces and mango drink were the perfect lunch size and value. They had a great seasonal lunch menu with smaller portions at a great price ($12.99). I was on my way to the airport, but I would've been able to take some of the meal home because of the portions. The sever was so fast and always filling everyone's drinks. I'll be coming back here for dinner very soon. read more

Heard this was a popular place in town. Order red takeout. Took almost an hour for chicken 65, butter chicken, and chaat. The butter chicken could've been better if it didn't taste sweet. Chaat wasn't bad. Not a huge fan of the to go foam containers. Overall, average experience. They did have a big tv playing Bollywood music videos which was a nice part of the ambiance. read more

The food was sooooo good we got paneer tikka tacos and a burrito and the aloo tikki chaat. All were a 10/10 insanely good. Shruti is the sweetest ever, she gave us great recommendations and made sure we knew what sauces to use to fully enjoy the meal. Diamond in the rough! We were taken there by our son while visiting from Pennsylvania this evening. Such welcoming, wonderful staff. The food is exquisite! I recommend the Samosa Chaat and the Lamb curry. Everybody was thrilled with their choices as well. Loved their paratha. And the bonus is the great Bollywood videos played on ultra wide TV screens but not loud enough to interfere with table conversation. Came here for lunch with two friends. Now maybe because it was a Monday and people didn't expect it to be open, we were the only patrons from 11:30 to 12:45. Our local paper reviewed it and gave it four stars but we three barely gave it two. Plain ambiance. Pleasant server. But the food was just ok - except for the lamb dish my friend had. Food was so good I went into labor afterwards! (Not a joke- I actually went into labor that night) Went here last week with my husband and friends for the first time and loved it. I was hoping the spice level on the "hot" tikka masala would have been spicier but it was still really good. We also tried the panini which I didn't get a picture of but it was delicious with the chicken 65 sauce. Naan was phenomenal, best I've had around Toledo. Owner and staff were all really nice. This is a quick note to let you know you REALLY need to check Bombay Kitchen 419 out if you love delicious Indian food. Like seriously, if you've been wondering or on the fence, don't give it a second thought. It's really good and you owe it to yourself to add BK419 to your dining out and delivery repertoire. This review is only based on one take-out order, but if the dinner combo with madras curry and chicken reshmi, tandoori chicken wings, paneer tikka kebab, and palek paneer we had are any indication of how good the rest of the menu is, holy smokes we've got a real winner on our hands here friends. With an upbeat casual atmosphere, super friendly service, and fantastic food, I really hope the word gets out. They opened during the pandemic but have recently started offering indoor and outdoor seating. You can also order for delivery so you really have no excuse. not only is this some of the BEST food I've ever had but the staff is super helpful, kind every time I go in. There were four of us, and we got chicken tiki masala, butter chicken, vegetarian biryani, and mango lassi (OMG!)... everything was spot on perfection, fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had!! I was traveling in Toledo and was recommended Bombay Kitchen and it did not disappoint. Bombay offers so many different options of new takes on classic Indian cuisine. For appetizers I had the Samosas and Masala fries and they were absolutely delicious! I'm glad I had room for the chicken with the 65 curry because it was even better. The service was great too! Everything came out quickly and the workers were all so friendly! I've been spoiled by the nearby Indian food capitals of Michigan, mostly Canton and Ann Arbor. The food in those locations caters to the larger number of people from India that live there, and over the years I have struggled to find much that can compete in the Toldeo area. I was recently in Toledo and decided to try Bombay Kitchen. Being on the Monroe Street business district, I knew the rents were higher, and the prices would follow suite. I hoped the quality would match. Upon entering, we were seated in a modern dining room and told we could sit where we wanted, though I noticed several tabled were dirty, so we were funneled toward a booth that had no window but was at least clean. My wife and I wanted to share our usual Indian combination, a chicken dish and a paneer dish, with raita and naan. We ordered Chicken 65 and Mattar Paneer, two orders of naan, and some raita. To drink, a Coke and a water. The water came in a really cool glass pitcher with cups on top. Neat! The Coke came in a regular plastic Coke bottle. The food came on square plates, with piles of rice and bowls containing the entrees. Hopes were riding high... we ate and while we tried to appreciate every aspect, there were severe letdowns. The Chicken 65 was decent, but in a bowl of curry soup, entirely different that any Chicken 65 I've had in the last decade. While it was only decently good, the amount of chicken was pretty small, and the drowning of mediocre sauce only seemed to be aided by the peppers and whatever else was added to it. The Mattar Paneer on a similar hand, tasted almost like bland jarred pizza sauce and had no complexity at all. I grew tired of eating it quickly and was very disappointed with the one-note flavor it contained. Discussions after the meal showed a complete agreement from my wife in how boring the taste was compared to the competition. The naan was buttered and herbed, but I love my naan charred and a bit crisper than the thick slabs were served. The kicker was that the raita never showed. While it would have been easy to fix, the service never stopped by after the food was dropped off until we were done, so we let that aspect we had hoped for to go. It would have been really nice to have. I can't say we will be back... Nothing seemed to be homemade and for the almost $60 this lunch cost, I could have gotten so much more. read more

Food and service are really good. They lost points from me because they don't serve Naan with the meal and to buy it on the side was overpriced and not really Naan.
