Rarely do my DIY projects go as smoothly as this. First I spoke to Jake King in sales who walked me…read morethrough the whole process from first order, to shipping, to assembly. He made me feel at ease answering a bunch of questions and concerns. The shipping process was first class. The company they used provided tracking and had an 800 number to call for updates. That was super helpful considering I ordered my cabinets during the worst winter snow and ice storm of 2026. Never the less they still arrived on time. Then came assembly. I was a bit nervous with the first base cabinet but I remember Jake telling me to watch the online assembly videos. They were great. The first cabinet took us about an hour to assemble but after that we were old pro's. My wife and I had a mini assembly line going. We were able to assemble the rest at around 20 minutes a piece. Let me assure you these cabinets and hardware are top notch. They are super well engineered. Everything was cut exactly to length and went together perfectly. I would offer one tip for future buyers. Get yourself a small paint brush to spread the glue evenly. We used way too much on the first one but after that it was perfect. Do not be intimidated with the assembly process. They take all the guesswork out of it for you. Next time we need cabinets I know where I'm going.

The best thing…read moreis, unlike a lot of the other granite shops in the area, they don't nickel and dime you with fees for seams, edges, and so on. We were able to get higher end granite for less than the cost of some of the low end Chinese granite offered at places like Cutting Edge. It is a small business, and the guys are super experienced in what they do and had an great attention to detail. They were also able to replace my bathroom vanity top and fireplace surround using granite from the same slab for a very reasonable cost. I would not hesitate to recommend their services or workmanship to anyone looking to get granite, marble or quartz tops.

Joe Sr. & Robin were so helpful in answering our questions about changing over from carpeting to premium vinyl in our living room... and in finding a great option for carpeting for our stairs and small hallway. They were great fitting a time for measuring and estimate into our busy schedule. Then when their crews came into install - you could not ask for more!! Nice... quick.... and clean!!! Everything looked terrific after the installation. Nothing for us to do than just bring the furniture back into the room. They got a project we thought would take two days down to just one day... and it's not because of taking short cuts... the work is meticulous!!! Could not imagine anyone giving better service than we got from Shay's all thru the process!!! PS... side effect we did not even think of.... Getting their premium padding on the steps.... being an age where we are pretty protective of the joints..... we immediately found it much more comfortable climbing up and down the steps with that amazing padding. Get it!!!!!
