We called ahead, and they recommended making an appointment to be seen quickly. Everything went exactly as they said, and there was essentially no wait time when we arrived. The salon itself was very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The chairs were especially comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to unwind. One small thing I would change is the TV placement. I think mounting the TVs behind the estheticians' chairs would make them easier for customers to watch during services. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and attentive to detail throughout the entire appointment. Since I do not usually get my nails done often, I appreciated how helpful they were with color selection and decision-making. They made the whole experience feel comfortable and welcoming. It has now been over a week since my appointment, and my nails still look great, which says a lot about the quality of their work. The pricing was also very reasonable for the level of service received. Monroe Nails is definitely a spot I would return to, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience with friendly staff and quality nail services.

My frugality gets in the way of salon treatments, ask anyone. The first thing to know about Beyond Nails is that if you pay cash, you get coupons to put towards your next visit. And for a $30 pedicure, it's worth it to use the cash. On my last visit, I had a $5 off coupon from a previous visit available to me, resulting in a $25 regular pedicure. Can you beat that on most occasions? I usually can't. It's not just the convenience, the cash, and the sanitary procedures that would keep me coming back, it's that you get an amazing deal and a pleasant experience. I got my nails done here before my wedding and I absolutely loved the experience. I chose a regular pedicure, which always lasts forever, and gel manicure, knowing my tendencies to flake. During the pedicure, my legs were pampered with hot stones, completely included. Normally that's an add on, and here it's part of the regular pedicure. My gels lasted a few months too. This was one of the only times I didn't chip off my nail polish and my wedding nails lasted for a few months ultimately, with natural nail growth being the reason the polish eventually retreated. I made appointments on my recent visits, but things were spaced out enough that you could probably walk in without much incident. When choosing your polish, take note that some of the regular polishes do cost a little extra. Otherwise, the nail salon experience is one that you'd expect from a nail salon, as opposed to a place where things just seem hectic. Beyond Nails is a great choice for a spa-like day, and Twelve Corners is lucky to have them. Remember to bring cash!

Instead of handling the situation professionally, the nail technician said she felt "uncomfortable" doing my mom's nails and claimed she didn't think my mom would like her work. Because of that, they refused to do both of our manicures and asked us to leave. I expressed that I was disappointed with the situation and mentioned that we would be leaving a review. As we were walking out, I overheard staff calling the police saying they were "scared" and "worried," despite the fact that we were calmly leaving the salon and had not caused any disturbance. What made the situation even worse was that the way we were treated felt discriminatory and honestly racist. We came in respectful, calm, and simply asked for a correction to a paid service, yet we were treated as if we were dangerous for speaking up. Customers should be able to voice concerns without being stereotyped, dismissed, or escalated to the point of police involvement. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and upsetting. We will not be returning.

You are welcome to tip in cash but make sure you have exact change. I came here as the person I normally see I double booked myself and she had no appointments available anytime this month (June 2024) so I decided to try this place again. If you want a place to roll into I can recommend a place but most spots now want an appointment. They are on the first floor as I think other businesses are here as well. The inside is light and bright, light woods and comfortable seating. I was greeted and asked to wash my hands.. ok I did not get that as I was here for a pedicure.. so... Also I was offered a drink, water, coffee, wine a nice touch. Now the set up for the pedicure was nice but I wished I could have moved back the chair, I had a pillow behind me but I got rid of it but I was comfortable but it was just wonky. I'm tall and usually they will adjust how you sit. This is minor but if you're tall ask if the chair can be adjusted. My nail tech Maddy Elizabeth was lovely, friendly and efficient. I picked out a color they have a bunch and if you want a gel type it's an additional cost. I got a more souped up pedicure with warm stones and a mask. The execution of the pedicure was great but the additional stuff did not seem too luxurious. The clay mask she almost forgot about than she put on warm towels and use also used warm stones. This was a nice touch but maybe I expected a bit more for $75.00. Oh well that's just me... When you are done you go into the back room and you dry your feet/hands for a bit. My feet I had a fan to dry my feet, not a big deal but it was odd... I think most are use to a light source or someone uses a quick dry. I think since they are all about 7 to 11 free nail items. While I was waiting I was offered a glass of rose if I wanted. The check out was easy and they did ask if I wanted another appointment. I said no but thank you. I'll keep them in mind when I can't get in with my regular person. From what I understand they are opening another location in Monroe in Brighton. This location from what I was told will get a refresh. All in all it was a lovely experience and a great pedicure. They share a parking lot and they ha e specific spaces for the business a plus. 4.5 out of 5
