Tasty American Indian fusion restaurant!
Starting with the pizza - the medium crust is notable on its own with its airy texture and nice blend of seasoning. It's predictably Italian (American), but add on the butter masala chicken and you have exquisite marriage of flavors that go into the savory, slightly tart, fattiness from the cheese, and aromas familiar to Indian food.
The Punjab samosa chaat was also delicious with a real kick to it. Beware of the spice level. The fried shell was crispy even after layering the chutney and other sauces. The chickpea wasn't mushy, and took on the flavors well. Good balance of savory and sweet flavors.
I won't go in-depth with the Calzone, but like the pizza crust it is what you expect. Dense edges and encapsulates the butter chicken well. The tandoori chicken wings have a nice spice rub on it, but the mint sauce that came with it is what took it to the next level.
I believe all the sauces - from the ranch that came with the pizza and mint sauce with wings - are made in-house.
It's not a full service restaurant, but the owner (?) or the man working there both times was attentive and so kind!
The atmosphere is definitely casual and not pretentious or trendy. The value is in the food - not the decor. That's what I like, and with that, I recommend checking it out this unique eatery! read more
