Great location for anybody looking to live near UWRF…read more We were tired of living in dorms but still wanted to live close to campus. Campusview had a place that was even closer to my classes than the dorms. The price was reasonable for the location too. We lived there for 2 years and never had any problems. Just leave the place as clean as it is when you get it and should not have any problems. I would recommend Campusview to anybody looking to get out of the dorms and still be really close to campus.

They stated that "carpet matting," and "not moving our furniture" was damaging enough that they needed to replace the carpet. Two years of simply living in an apartment will mat the carpet regardless. They also stated that there was "dust" in every room, and therefore charged us in excess for that "damage." They went on to charge us for strands of hair found in the apartment, and a bug in one of the light fixtures that we were NOT supposed to remove. I sent a letter detailing which claims I was refuting, and they wrote back stating that the following where damages, and we continue to be charged for them. What they consider "damages," and the charges they associate with them are outrageous. They charged us for "Matted Carpet," "Dust," "a few strands of hair," and "a bug in a fixture" that we were told NOT to remove. They are taking unfair advantage of college students because they think they can get away with it.They charges us $447 for those damages and some other minor issues.

We received all kinds of great information from In Motion, including a timeline of how things would go, information about the company and our new building manager, and new rent payment options. They have a FABULOUS online rental payment system set up. They even take payment by credit card - hello, cash back rewards! In Motion kept the same caretaker on site, which was a nice addition to making the process easy on everyone. He has been the caretaker for a while, so he didn't have to find a new job or home. A big bonus for all of us is since he's been there a long time, he was a great asset to the transition team. Plus, he's an all-around great guy. Friendly, helpful, and an excellent handyman. What prompted me to finally write a review about them is this: I had an issue with my internet service that is moderated through In Motion. I sent an email to the property manager, and he called back within a few minutes. We had a good chat about the overall situation, and came to a good solution. All within the span of about ten minutes from start to finish! If you are looking for a place to rent that is well-managed and well-taken care of, I highly recommend that you consider In Motion.

Refrigerator broken, door fell off and replacement fridge had mold and mice poop in it. 4 hours to bleach it and the damm thing didn't even work. All my food had to be tossed. I will speak specifically to the Western Wisconsin team as the topic at hand. I submitted an application, including paying an application fee, for a rental home in Western Wisconsin and followed up the next day to get a better idea of the process. The phone call to the agent lead to a full voice mail box (warning signs). A follow up email was eventually replied to basically a day later with no helpful information. I followed up with a question which was not answered at all after a business week. I emailed again, and included the Renters Warehouse Wisconsin owners, and finally got an answer from an owner that my application still hadn't been processed at all (I have credit monitoring so I already knew that) and they didn't know when it would be processed (they blamed the company that runs the checks basically). The lack of professionalism for a paying customer is terrible. There is a clear lack of organization based on a full voicemail box and horribly poor follow up to email. I may be a prospective renter, but I paid for something. The professional thing is to provide basic follow up and just be attentive. Plus, this is something very important like housing. With a competitive market waiting a week to hear something just isn't acceptable let alone waiting a week for for no movement whatsoever and no courtesy follow up to explain the situation. The effort, or lack there of, just screams an unprofessional organization and service and I would not recommend them to either take care of your investment property nor to try to rent a house through them. There are plenty of management companies that would likely at least appear to be professional and organized and Renters Warehouse Western Wisconsin isn't one of them.
