Don't expect much or any of your security deposit back. They will charge you for dust that settled after deep cleaning it for 2 straight days. Charged for dust on the water heater that I wiped off the last day of cleaning. Charged for drier lint that is almost impossible to get all the way removed. Charged for sun damage to the drapes that were sun damaged before we got there and should be expected to happen. Any normal wear and tear you will be charged for. They say pet friendly, but you better get every single piece of hair out of there before you move out or you'll be charged. Oh you removed all light fixtures and deep cleaned them? Not good enough there is dust. CHARGED! Oh you cleaned the stove top? There are streaks from cleaning it and dust. CHARGED! After moving into our new rental I can full heartedly say campus view was the worst to rent from. Always having to come in to do random stuff and always sending texts and emails out about stuff. This new rental we barely hear from our landlord. He leaves us alone and respects us. When we need maintenance done we contact him and he sends someone out when we need them. He even straight up told us that he doesn't want to take our security deposit and the only way he would is if there is a huge hole in the wall or something is badly damaged. He doesn't care about the normal wear and tear that is expected when someone lives in a place. Dust is normal especially in a crappy place like campus view. Should I mention how much mold builds up in campus view apartments? Even when we use the fan in the bathroom and leave the door open to air out. The mold was crazy. Especially by the windows. If you rent through campus view I feel bad for you and hope the lease goes by fast. read more

Great location for anybody looking to live near UWRF. We were tired of living in dorms but still wanted to live close to campus. Campusview had a place that was even closer to my classes than the dorms. The price was reasonable for the location too. We lived there for 2 years and never had any problems. Just leave the place as clean as it is when you get it and should not have any problems. I would recommend Campusview to anybody looking to get out of the dorms and still be really close to campus. read more

We had lived in our apartment for two years, and upon our move out, Campusview Realestate centered out of River Falls Wisconsin excessively charged us upon move out for "damages". They stated that "carpet matting," and "not moving our furniture" was damaging enough that they needed to replace the carpet. Two years of simply living in an apartment will mat the carpet regardless. They also stated that there was "dust" in every room, and therefore charged us in excess for that "damage." They went on to charge us for strands of hair found in the apartment, and a bug in one of the light fixtures that we were NOT supposed to remove. I sent a letter detailing which claims I was refuting, and they wrote back stating that the following where damages, and we continue to be charged for them. What they consider "damages," and the charges they associate with them are outrageous. They charged us for "Matted Carpet," "Dust," "a few strands of hair," and "a bug in a fixture" that we were told NOT to remove. They are taking unfair advantage of college students because they think they can get away with it.They charges us $447 for those damages and some other minor issues. read more
