Working with Sam, the owner of Bold Move, was effortless. He had flexibility in his schedule to fit us in when other moving companies were unavailable. We were moving a 2 bedroom apartment and it took 3 men, 1 truck, and 2 hrs and 45 minutes. The price was around $580 (before tip) which was very reasonable. Definitely recommend! It took a little bit longer and cost more than we expected but I think they (and us) underestimated how much stuff we had to move and how long it would take. No one's fault really. We had some difficult stuff to move, too. They were on time and respectful. They worked their butts off and took care of our stuff. Nothing got broken or lost. They paid attention to labels and where we wanted boxes moved to per the label. They offered to put furniture together (which we didn't need but it was nice). They didn't charge for breaks and travel time, which was nice. There was no damage to our house as they moved stuff around. Definitely hire these guys! read more

I've moved a million times-- at this point I can barely deal, so I'm extremely grateful these guys could help make it less tough. I'm always nervous with moving too, that I can barely sleep the day before, and I feel a bit odd not doing it myself, I'm used to helping my dad load/unload for his old computer business/storage units etc., but I had to just try to chill this time, let them handle it. We also never had a big sectional couch before this year, but they took it out perfectly and re-assembled expertly. They've been accommodating about unusual requests -- take this appliance here to be recycled, weekend jobs. I waited until my move was completed before commenting/reviewing Bold Move. I saw one of their bright pink trucks while walking my dog and luckily gave them a call. I actually called two places but found Sam at Bold Move explained the process well and followed up with me immediately. Adam and Sergay (?) arrived on time and got me moved into a 12" POD in a little over 2 hours. They wrapped my expensive new OLED tv to perfection. The next week Sam had me scheduled ahead of time and confirmed the prior evening. Jared and Tabor moved me out of the POD and into my new (1956) house. Team 1 took apart my leather loveseat and recliner, legs off dressers and TVs. Team 2 put all back together and placed well or they asked me where to put things. These four young men were top notch, worked from start to finish and needed very little instruction. So many things can go wrong in a move. I called around and every company couldn't get me in- just when I was about to really get stressed out I contacted Bold Move and they could come the next day! I got 3 men and a truck.
