They have a digital menu above the register. They have a large picture allowing you to observe the making of their biscuits. The booths have charging stations for your phones and electronic devices. They have added a nice outside dining area. Their food in on-par for Bojangles. My food was food and hot. The employees were polite but the service was a little slow. Food is great, new location is nice. Staff is friendly. Management/leadership decides to have meetings with employees in the lobby and let everyone hear their conversation. I would not appreciate that if I was an employee here. She did yell across the room to another employee to take his apron off as he was heading out. Bojangles needs to do better about how they meet with their team. The lady(manager?) lacks leadership skills and does not know how to respectfully speak to employees. Waited in the long drive through line to get a side of fries to snack on while in the area. The line was long, but luckily I didn't have anywhere to be and the drive through attendant was super friendly. She was excited that I had only ordered fries and a sweet tea (maybe the other orders ahead of me were complicated?). The best part was that she recommended dipping my fries in their honey mustard sauce and gave me a thing of honey mustard. Kind of hard to remember the last time I had a friendly exchange at a drive through like that. Overall, this location is prime real estate and right off the main road so I can see it doing fairly well and keeping busy. The architecture harkens back to another time, but the parking lot is plenty big for the wrap-around drive through line during covid times. There is a drive through lane next to the building that no one used cause the line wrapped around to the other part of the parking lot so no biggie. read more

I'm a former employee from there and I'm going to be honest it's pretty bad, they treat you like trash as an employee they don't care about your safety along with they don't care about food safety, I was basically one of the few people who'd ACTUALLY CLEAN others would pretend to and wouldn't actually do anything the behind the counter area was cleaned decently well but only if certain people were there at the time. The managers are toxic and inconsiderate except for two, I was working one day and was uncomfortable with doing something per the managers request and they were trying to force me to do something I was uncomfortable with I was screamed at by the assistant manager outside where people across the street could clearly hear her screaming. They are poor at hiring good people and they fire people because they are uncomfortable with doing something over all not the best place to eat or work. read more

I've been to this location way more since they built the new building next door (Sears St). The service is friendly but I'm friendly too so maybe treating these workers with respect is why I always have a great experience. The Food has always been fresh when I visit and my orders have always been right. There are a few times during the day where things might get backed up a bit, but I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes in the drive thru. There was only one time (when using the app) when my order was wrong. I was ordering a family box with half Chicken Tenders and half Dark Meat Chicken. And I got Wings and Breasts instead. I'm not sure if they just didn't read it right or they were out of Dark Meat because it was even on the receipt. But the extra box of Biscuits that were in there that I didn't order definitely made up for it. read more

I bought chicken biscuits on my way home from work this morning for breakfast. When I got home and began eating a biscuit, it was raw. I called the manager and her only response was "Ok, thank you". and then she hung up. I did not call back and to take them back to the store was too far of a drive from where I live. I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone. The manager didn't acknowledge my complaint nor did she try to make up for it and go out of her way to make up for it. You don't want someone who served you raw chicken and was ok with it, not caring at all about what the consequences could have been had I ate it not realizing that it was raw. You don't want to eat at such a place. Customer service and satisfaction and the well being of their customers is not a priority here. I will not be returning there. read more

Bojangles is your standard fast food fried chicken joint, and since I like chicken, it's A-OK by me. The service normally leaves a bit to be desired, but the only reasons I would sing about Bojangles are: 1. The Biscuits -- They are so good--so soft, so fluffy, so buttery--that it was the first thing I asked for when I got off the plane from England. 2. The Chicken Fingers -- Nicely seasoned, but the breading can be a bit hard (and that's how you know they've been sitting out all day). 3. The Sweet Tea -- Worth writing a dissertation on. So sweet, you take one sip and schedule a filling with your dentist. 4. The Price -- 1 wing + 1 leg + 2 fixins (mac & cheese, pinto beans [although I suggest the green beans or collards]) + buscuit= ***$3.99*** In these trying economic times, it's just what the doctor ordered. Bojangles on 29 in Kannapolis, is DISGUSTING!!!! I wouldn't recommend eating here to my worst enemy! They don't use gloves when handling boxes for food or the wax paper used to place the food on! I witnessed the register boy, go and handle a food scoop for the rice WITHOUT GLOVES OR WASHING HIS HANDS and then dropped the entire scoop handle and all, in the drum of rice, after him and everyone else has handled it with bare hands. After calling and complaining I was told by the manager that they aren't required to wear gloves on the front line that makes no sense. Especially working in the restaurant industry myself. I KNOW YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDELING ANYTHING TO DO WITH FOOD!!!!!!
