First time to this location, been to others across the south. I like the bojangles franchise for their consistency. Unfortunately, if you like bone in chicken, this location only sells the tenders and bites! What a disappointment. However, the tenders were what was expected from the bojangles brand. Good stuff! Service was friendly, and the place was clean (since it is newer). Would definitely go back there if I am passing through Zanesville again. Someone mentioned Don's donuts are the place to go as well! I was absolutely disappointed to hear that Bojangles stopped serving bone in chicken. Why would they think this would be a winning decision.

Why in the world would you not have bone-in chicken? Don't get me wrong the tenders are good but I want bone-in chicken. I've had Bojangles in many different states and this is the first time they only have tenders! I guess they decided northerners also don't like the Cajun beans because they also don't carry those. We got the large family dinner and was supposed to come with four sides but only received 3 of the 4. Not crazy about the coleslaw so won't be getting that again. Lemonade was good. As far as the other sides we got the dirty rice and Mac and cheese both were good. Not a terrible experience overall except for not giving us our whole order and no bone in chicken. We got the family meal of 12 tenders, 2 sides, 4 biscuits, and a half gallon of sweet tea. I feel this was a good deal. The quality of the food was better than I thought it would be. The tenders were crispy and well seasoned on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside. The sauces we chose were honey mustard and creamy buffalo. Both delicious! We chose fries and mac n cheese for the sides. The fries were crispy on the outside with a delicious seasoning and the inside was fluffy. Cooked perfectly! The biscuits were buttery and crispy on the outside and soft, moist, and pillowy on the inside. The most delicious biscuits I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. The sweet tea was very good. We also had some Cheer Wine which I was excited about because I can usually only find it down south! I'm so impressed and can't wait to come back and try their breakfast! Up front: the only good things was the quick travel through the drive thru and the Pepsi. Everything else was not good at all. Thats what I get for going the fast-food route. Made it to the pickup window and the slender female employee greeted me with a loud "F" bomb. The lid to my drink blew off on her counter and she said "what the bleep!" So much for professionalism and common decency. The breads, especially the biscuit, tasted like one big chemical pie - scary nasty. The chicken was just ok. But they must use MSG or some other additive/preservative because my face got red and hot after eating only half. The "dirty rice" looked and tasted like something from a dollar store. Was an affront to Southerners tbh. Needless to say that'll be the last $$ they get from me - ever. read more

We had not had bojangles in years. We went here today for lunch. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and fries. My husband got the tenders with fries and slaw. It was very good. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The fries were hot and crispy. My husband said the slaw was really good. I got some Cheerwine from the fountain...that was good.!!! We will be back. read more

Born and raised in the South ( North Carolina) I was very disappointed to find out that all Bojangles restaurants in this state of Ohio does not and will not sell bone-in chicken. They only sell chicken tenders. All the sides are the same as the southern stores, but bone-in chicken offers that extra flavor. Beckley , Wv is the closest store I know of to get chicken as I know it. Whoever made that decision, made a BAD choice. My folks in the Carolinas said they'd pack their own chicken next time they visit this state. read more

Very disappointed in this location. I love Bojangles and get it whenever I'm near one in the south. But for some reason, this location is not serving the regular bone in chicken which is what makes Bojangles good. I won't be back without them serving their actual chicken. Visited at 7 pm tonight. Thete was a delay the the drive thru due to a tablet problem-then several of the items we ordered were only available with a seven minute additional wait:. Gkad they have a grilled chicken sandwich. Someone in our party said the fries were too salty to eat- so that was a waste.They loved the biscuits and the chicken tenders. First time here, the lady who took our order was very sweet and when we pulled up to the window the guy at the window saw our pup and offered her a treat. We ordered two sandwich meals and both of the sweet treats. The peach cobbler was the better of the two tho both was very tasty. Thought we would try the Bojangles always wanted to try them- ordered 12 piece chicken family meal says comes with 3 sides. Ordered mashed potatoes as one side but apparently this location does not serve mashed potatoes- ok no big deal I will take rice, coleslaw, and beans. What did I get for $38.50? 12 chicken STRIPS and a coleslaw. When I ordered asked for sauce for the chicken not STRIPS, chicken legs, breasts, ect.. screen said no sauce I said I do want sauce the lady said oh don't worry about the screen saying no sauce I will get your sauce.
