Came here with my Jesus loving friends from ENC Fall Retreat. We blessed the food and the Chicken was so good I overate. Probably some of the best and flavorful fried chicken i have ever had. Chicken was juicy, the crunch was perfect, and it had just a kick of spice to perfectly blend in with the flavors of the crust. The service there is very kind and sweet. It's. been nearly five years for us, and Bojangles is still around at this location in Harrisonburg. We enjoyed another good visit with tasty, fresh Cajun chicken biscuits, some Bo-rounds (delicious with lots of gravy) and hot coffees. All served up quickly by the busy folks behind the counter. Our only negative had nothing to do with Bojangles; we were diverted from I-81 just before our turnoff because of an accident, and it took us 20 minutes of a winding detour to get here. my fiancé and I was traveling and decided to stop here to get some food mind you I had my service dog with us he is a medical alert dog however I forgot his vest in wv but that was ok because Ada doesn't require one but staff was very rude and attempted to make us leave because of no vest the employees was very rude and unprofessional. Clean Bojangles, quick service inside, and good food as always. Stopped here on my way back from Virginia Tech and had some folks with me who had never been before. The guy working the cashier went over what was considered good and gave us a lot of recommendations. The cajun biscuit was great, and so was the 3 piece dinner. Food was good. We stopped here on our way across the country and were satisfied until that insanely dry biscuit sucked the soul out of us. No butter, but we would have needed at least a pound to remedy this Egyptian Desert biscuit. Nobody was ready for this steel wool-cotton infused bread. It was like eating a brand new sham-wow sponge. Those biscuits sucked the humidity out of the state of Virginia. Next time I drop my phone in water, I will just put it in a box with just one of your biscuits. I was so excited to get a Bojangles in Harrisonburg a few years ago when it first arrived. Everything here is a hit or miss. I've come in before and had everything correct that I order, have it be fresh with prompt service. Bojangles, southern comfort food to the max! This is one of my favorite places to eat when we are traveling to the south. I have never been disappointed when we stop at any of these restaurant chains. This particular one was clean,well managed and the service was quick and the Cajun chicken on an oversized biscuit is always my favorite pick. I'm giving a 4-Star review and that is based solely on the food and not the customer service. This location does a fantastic job with the food quality and making sure it's hot when you get it. With that said, the customer service leaves a little to be desired. Twice, I've gone through the drive-thru and not gotten the sauce I ordered. The first time it happened, I shrugged it off. The second time, I specifically asked the guy working the drive thru if it was in the bag and he looked me right in the face and lied and said it was. I get that it's just sauce, but he plugged it in because it was on my receipt so I know it's not for lack of remembering. Secondly, even if you forgot, I reminded you by asking and you chose to lie. We had to wait 30 minutes for chicken! We tried to beat the lunch rush by arriving at 11:30 but it is almost noon and we still don't have our order!!! The lunch rush is closing in now! ITS BO TIME. Biscuits? Warm. Buttery. Flakey and soft. The bone-in chicken has the right amount of spice and the skin is perfectly crisp. Tenders and supremes and roasted bites are always tender and juicy. Those sides, from the Bo Rounds to the dirty rice are fantastic. Yes, they are kept in a steam table, but they make sure they are up to temp and make sure they are always fresh. Even the sweets are well cooked and always yummy. The service is fast friendly and the employees are always willing to correct mistakes and give you exactly what you want. Yes, it's fast food. Yes, mistakes are sometimes made. But they are consistently the best I've seen in correcting them and making sure you come back for more. read more

my daughter and j went there lunch. bad mistake , chicken couldn't have been any dryer and the green beans and mash potatoes, uncooked and instant. Your tea , oh my really bad . only thing good was the biscuit, paid 23.00 for this lousy meal. should have went to Costco and got a slice of pizza, at least it would be half way fresh. come on fellows you can go better than this, just because it's cooked, you can't leave on the steam table for hours . probably won't be back anytime soon!!! read more

When I moved from NC to Harrisonburg back in July, I was devastated by the absence of Bojangles around here. I am so happy that there is finally one here- though it is in an odd location IMO. Now I can get my fix! The tea isn't as sweet as it should be and the biscuits are usually undercooked, but other than that this is a good Boj. read more

We got an 8-piece that when eating felt like it had been sitting all day. The crust was hard as a rock. Not a nice experience eating supposedly "delicious" fried chicken.
