We came in for lunch, after getting recommendations from Diamond we decided to try the pork chops, ribs, mac, candied yams, greens, apple cobbler, and strawberry cake. This place definitely lives up to our expectation, the pork chops and ribs were delicious. The candied yams and greens are amazing! The deserts are totally worth bingeing. Finally you get great food for an extremely cheap price. Thank you and see you again soon!

You can take a seat anywhere inside when you enter. There are two main rooms. The booth that I plopt into was very very well worn. Like, there were parts that I felt like I sank to the floor and then I could scootch over and sit on the hard support beam. Not super comfy. Our server's mood kinda matched the weather outside: dreary. My mom ordered the corned beef hash and a biscuit. I ordered a house salad and a hot dog with chili, mustard, and cole slaw. The salad came out and it was pretty basic: iceberg lettuce, a few tomoatoes, and 3 radish slices. Nothing wrong with it and everything was fresh. Mom shared that her corned beef hash and biscuit were good. The hot dog had a strong tangy flavor to it. I pretty sure it was coming from a particularly vinegary cole slaw. Overall it was good. Our Cumberland Restaurant experience was Ok.

Food (5/5): We started with the most amazing homemade bread which is a secret family recipe and hand delivered to the restaurant daily! It's amazing as is the honey butter! I loved it so much we ordered another loaf ($4). The food was just top notch! The French onion soup was just phenomenal. The Gyuere cheese topper was generous. We tried the bourbon chicken bites and they were great. They were lightly fried with a delicious bourbon sweet sauce. We tried the steamers since they were specials there and I've never tried them. The FarmVille Steamer was a bit off - the turkey is sliced thicker and the veggies were cooked. The Roast Beef Steamer was great- the roast beef was cooked to perfection and the pretzel bun was great. The best part was the horseradish sauce - creamy and complimented the sandwich perfectly. I got the mashed potatoes on the side and they were just like I them - a bit chunky with the skins. Service (5/5): Service was great. Ambiance (4/5): They were fully booked on a Saturday night but got us in anyway. We were pretty squished at a table though and were too close to the table next to us. I felt like we're all eating together. The decor was nice though and it's a great addition to Farmville.

Not sure how gooey or sticky they were, but tasted nice and the buttermilk dressing cut the heat. It was a nice change from Ranch. The pimento cheese is rather tasteless, but created a nice creamy cheese burger. Stand alone, the pimento cheese would stand up to most store bought varieties. The beef was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and had great texture. This wasn't a frozen patty. Same spot serves breakfast and I was up early. I would recommend the baked French toast with blueberries and maple syrup if you're in the mood for something sweet. The maple syrup is the real deal, from the tree, not Mrs Butterworth. Again, seemed house made as the layers of French toast were distinguishable. The sausage was great too and almost had a scrapple taste to it. The playing was funny. Why two plates? The sausage looks so lonely and small. Sadly, the coffee is poor quality, but if you can wait, there is a Starbucks only a short walk away on Longwood's campus. Overall, pretty good spot.
