It would appear that the address currently listed in YELP is not correct because the address on my receipt for store #000441 is actually 24481 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24211, which is right off of the Interstate. Not that anyone is doing a GPS search for a Bojangles franchise as part of their meal planning but throughout the South the ubiquitous yellow signs call travelers to these biscuit focused fast food franchises. Our group needed a break, took the exit off of I-81 and our van full of northerners was curious about just what makes Bojangles tick. Now, I was thrilled with my Southern Filet Biscuit Combo with grits instead of the potato rounds that just didn't look very appetizing as they say behind the glass enclosure waiting for a customer who said yes, make them mine. You need to know I wavered on making this a 4 but I think it was the road hunger that caused that initial leaning because this place is a definite fast food 3 with positives and negatives. Seeing the rolling pin covered in flour confirmed that the tasty southern biscuit that composed both the north and south side of my sandwich was made fresh right there on LEE HIGHWAY. And, friends ... it was good just like a biscuit should be. I almost regretted not going for the sausage gravy and biscuit until I remembered that this is a fast food eating establishment not a diner whose kitchen has the capability of producing fresh sausage fat rendered gravy for biscuits. The young lady who waited on all of us was very pleasant and helpful. 'Y'all have a good day' made us feel like we were in the south. But, the Southern hospitality didn't have the coffee station ready for a breakfast crowd (Maybe true southerners have Coca Cola or sweet tea but we northerners need coffee with breakfast and there was utter confusion with getting the coffee out to us.). I definitely will stop at a Bojangles in the future because it does offer something that the fast food purveyors in the north don't have but only if I am in a hurry ...

Bojangles use to be one of my favorite fast food places to go. When fresh it is by far the best chicken and fries in my opinion. The issue is, it's never fresh anymore. I couldn't even bite into this chicken filet biscuit. I haven't worked fast food in a long time, but this is just sad. For no reason should chick filets be sitting there for hours getting to this point and being served to customers. Fries are the same way. This is just sad.

Good food, very filling meals. Seasoning on chicken was impressive and flavorful, although it looked lacking. Fries and coleslaw both enjoyable. Tea was amazing. Friendly staff and clean environment.

First time visiting this location. Just relocated to the area. I don't want to be overly critical, but when you order a 4 piece chicken supremes and get three mini pieces and something that barely resembles a chicken nugget, you feel slightly taken advantage of considering the price. Not a good first impression to Bojangles in Bristol Va.

Woot! Woot! Welcome back to the land of sweet tea! Hubs and I were driving back down south from the Burgh and always stop in for some fried chicken, dirty rice and beans that are seasoned just right. Got biscuits? Mmm...mmm...Slap yo Momma good!!!!

Pork chop biscuit was sold out. They opened at 6 am. Very crowded but they move quickly. Impressed with the breakfast biscuits we were able to get. (Steak, Cajun chicken, sausage & cheese) all cooked to perfection, not all dried out.

The very first time I have eaten at a Bojangles. The chicken was crispy and juicy and had very good seasoning. The fries were great.

Pal's is one of my favorite Bristol-area stops on road trips between my hometown and my new town…read more Truthfully, Pal's is the reason I plan my gas and food break there at all. It feels like a small ritual on the highway, the kind of place that turns a routine stop into something warm and familiar. There's something about Pal's that takes me back to being a kid, riding with my dad to a tiny drive-thru burger spot where the food was simple, fast, and made with care. This place carries that same spirit. The service is fast but still welcoming. I parked in the small lot that runs parallel to the drive-thru and enjoyed my meal from the car, watching the steady flow of customers come and go. My order was a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a vanilla milkshake. The food was fresh, tasty, and made for me... a classic drive-thru. The highlight, though, was a small moment of kindness. The young man at the window spotted my puppy and offered her a dog treat, which instantly made the stop feel even more personal and welcoming. Little gestures like that turn a quick meal into a memory. Pal's is clean, simple, and purely nostalgic. No frills, no fuss, just good food, friendly service, and the comforting feeling of a roadside tradition that understands exactly what travelers need.

It's only drive through so keep that in mind if you stop. There's always several customers parking eating in the car just like we do. If you love hot dogs this is your spot. It's a five for the hotdogs.
