The boy that was my cashier in the drive-through had put my receipt in his back pocket, and when I asked for the receipt, he pulled it back out of his back pocket. When I bit into the sandwich, it was pink inside and raw. This was not the seasoning... it was RAW. The entire piece of meat was not cooked and had a hard texture. Only the breading would come off the meat and biscuit that was on the piece of chicken was pink from blood. Never again at this location... not even for free! read more

If you get past the service complaints here - to which I have no experience and can offer no comment - this place is as good as fast food places get. Bojangles mainly serves two things: fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits. Both are absolutely excellent. The buttermilk biscuits are really the winner, as they are soft, buttery, and fluffy beyond compare. The sausage biscuits are probably the best thing on the menu. The fried chicken is also good, but honestly sometimes is a bit difficult - like any fried chicken, I can't exactly shake the impression that the meat is a bit expensive and hard-to-come-by. The sweet tea here is also excellent, should you have a desire for something ultra-sugary. Note that this place is SWAMPED by seniors on a regular basis, especially on weekends. I can't say this is the best food I've ever eaten - far from it - but for the cost, convenience, and competition, it's pretty awesome. read more

I come here often because I work 1 minute down the road so it's very convenient and I also really love Bojangles food. However it seems that this location really has trouble when it comes to the drive through. Every time I ask for something a little special to be added or taken away from my order it never comes out right. This place doesn't even deserve one star. The service is very bad, and the "team" is horrible. The only time I have received good service is when there first window was actually open accepting money. Im sorry but this bojangles is the worst one I've been to in a while. If you dislike your job so much then you should probably just get a better one. Life lesson never settle for a bad job! I have been to this bojangles many times but the last 6 months have been aweful. The people refuse to act as though they want to work let alone give good service. The food is usually cold and the order has almost always been wrong. When I told the man at the drive thru my order was wrong he laughed about it. I don't know when good customer service left this place but they need a serious reality check. Someone should call the district office on these complaints. They should really look at these reviews. The last time I ate there at the Newton store these reviews are true. They packed the orders wrong the food is less than appetizing. And when you complain about it to the manager named Eric he responds by acting like you're trying to steal food from him when he's fully aware that they actually did mess up your order when people pay for a service they expect a service. When you order a chicken breast you don't expect the chicken leg. When you order dirty rice you expect the original dirty rice recipe not a bowl of sticky dried out Rice with hardly any flavor. We came here tonight around 7:30pm. Ordered two Cajun chicken combos, picnic fries & 6 Bo Berry biscuits. We waited 10 minutes for our order, then was handed a box of biscuits with no icing. Husband asked if it costed extra for icing. Mexican teenager got an attitude. I guess we should have went elsewhere when I looked around the restaurant to find a table, they were all dirty with napkins, trash and food laying everywhere. Anyway, T the only white person on the whole crew was the 16 year old manager who clearly doesn't know how to run a restaurant. After we got our sandwiches, mine fell apart and I noticed the tomatoes had not been cored. The whole top of the tomato was on the sandwich! My husband then saw his was the same way. I took the sandwiches back to the counter where I asked the Mexican teenager if she would eat something like that? She looked confused and went to get the manager, I asked him the same question. He offered to remake the sandwiches , I declined and requested my money back. He made up some crap saying he needed my ticket which he had taken off my tray and kept. So after "searching" for my ticket for 10 minutes he only gave me $5.37 back. I spent well over $21 and nothing to show for it but terrible service , poor management, poor team work and I left upset & hungry! Definitely won't be going back there ever! read more

We were driving through the area looking for a BBQ place but being a Sunday, that wasn't an option. This was pleasantly better than expected for a fast food chain. I went thru the drive thru today and ordered a 20 piece dinner. My order was incomplete when I got home which was a 20 min drive. Whoever that is working the drive thru needs to double check to see if their customer have all their order. The workers probably don't care just because we are in drive thru. We have been to Bojangles many times but the last three times we visited this particular location, was out of items that we wanted. Server had cap on backwards, hair stringing, did not act like he wanted to wait on you. Right in the middle of dinner time and out of items that most people want. Why not have enough prepared and ready for customers. Iced tea was old and had to be thrown away. Biscuit was soggy from spilled green beans. You would think on Sunday evening at 6:15 that you could get items listed on the menu. read more
