Stopped here for a quick lunch since I was in a hurry. Decided to eat inside and ordered a two piece chicken and wing meal, cole slaw and mash potatoes and gravy sides and a coke. They were out of cole slaw, so I took the cajun beans. Service was quick. No forks at all in the dispenser so had to ask them for it. The food was good, no problems there, it's just that the place was a mess. Seems like none of the tables or seats had been cleaned as they all had crumbs around on most of them. The floor was littered with paper and unused small strips of toilet paper were on the floor as you went toward the bathroom. The bathroom wasn't very clean either...paper and stuff on the floor there too. Don't make a habit of going to Bojangles, but the food is usually just ok. Don't even bother because they won't even bother to attempt to take your order if you walk in. I came in ready to take my order as my husband pumped gas and everyone just kept looking at me as if I was supposed to go behind the counter and plug my order myself. A couple came in about 5 minutes after me and same thing just stared at from the kitchen. I waited a bit but after another round of stares I walked out. I won't be stopping by here again as there's other locations with better customer service on my trip back to Atlanta. About 9 people in the kitchen but not a single hi we'll be right with you. Avoid this location at all costs--it's another one less than 10 minutes away. Stopped here on my way back home to Atlanta and I really hate I did. Placed the order at the window via AI, but needed a staff member to complete it. The girl who came out (receipt says Jasmine, she was brown with glasses/braids/hat) told us they were out of what we wanted and they "close in 15 minutes". We ordered, paid at window, and there was a wait so they asked us to "pull up by the bushes" , we didn't because our card hadn't been returned. This visit was terrible as soon as we got to the pick up window. The employee was unpleasant and unwelcoming. Got our order and pulled off. The Bo rounds were soggy and greasy and not hot or seasoned. The Cajun filet biscuit was awful. The breading was soggy and peeling off the filet. The filet was by far the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. The texture was like what I imagine eating flesh would be like, and I'm pretty sure it was undercooked/almost raw. The "sweet" tea was watered down. The sweet potato pies were somewhat decent aside from the no flavor crust. Too far to go back. No receipt so had to Google the number and attempted to call several times. The phone rings and rings and no one answered. If you're in the area and this is the only place open, still don't stop. I ordered a bo sandwich and made it a deluxe. They gave me a regular which is no big deal i handed it back to the cashier and told her i ordered a deluxe. She got off of her phone and took my sandwich she didn't wash her hands after working register but she grabbed my sandwich with her bare hands out of the wrapper, then also with her bare hand and 4 inch nails grabbed the lettuce and tomato. To top off this health violation she took the palm of her hand and mashed the sandwich down and wrapped it. I know it happens in fast food but please don't do it right in my face as it i watch you. My husband served 28 years in the military...28 years! I asked the cashier if they honored the military discount which the cashier said, "Yes, but my manager has to put in the code and see your card." No problem. The manager walked to the register-visually irrated-and loudly announced, "We not given no more military discounts after this! I don't have time to put in the code! People be stealing from Bojangles!" She repeated herself as she walked away! We were appalled at her blurting out that my husband's career serving this country was disrespected and minimized. I just wanted to start by saying I have never made a review, let alone a bad one. I love bojangles but I will never be going back to this one in Elgin. This morning I went and got me and my coworkers food before work just trying to be nice. when I originally got my order it was missing items, they took my bag back and returned it "with the missing items" I say it like that bc those items were never put in the bag. I realized that once I got to work so I called to find out how to go about it. I was unable to come get the missing items so she got my name and number and I was told to come after work and they would give me a full refund . fast forward to after work and why I am leaving this review. I talked to the assistant manager (I won't put her name out of respect) and she was actually quite rude. She refused to give me the refund and said she could give me the food I was missing. After I made a deal about how I drove all the way back here for nothing and i was TOLD I would get a refund, she slapped a a partial refund in my hand for the items I was missing but had to add "I wont do this if it happen again". That comment was unnecessary. I then asked for the GMs number and I don't know if I wrote it down wrong or not but It was not the General Manager. I'm not complaining on here about my missing items (I know it happens, I work in the service industry) and I'm also not complaining that's I didn't get a full refund, the partial refund was what I originally asked for. its the principle. Don't tell me one thing and then go back on it. And don't be rude to me when I was just coming back to get the refund I was told I was getting. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and a tea on Clemson Rd. Got home and discovered the sandwiches were nothing but chicken and bread. There was no mayo and pickles. Called the store and told to come back. The careless and disinterested staff were out of several items, yelling at each other about needing fries, and replaced things I ordered with random items that I didn't order without asking. They kept glancing at me while doing, which I can now only guess was because they wanted to see if I saw whet they actually gave me. I worked at Bojangle's in high school, and despite knowing "how the chicken is made", I still get a craving for a good order of biscuits, chicken, and dirty rice! My son has a fixation with eating two bacon egg and cheese biscuits at once... Yeah, we are Bojangle's fans in this house. This place, however, is the worst Bojangle's I've ever seen. I have given it many chances, but don't recall the last time there was not some problem with my order. There are either inordinate delays, inability to take more than the most basic order at the drivethru, incorrect orders, improperly cooked food, you name it. This is my final visit - I pulled up and started my order, after being told, "Hold" about 3 times, by asking for a family order of dirty rice. Don't mind waiting for fresh biscuits, especially boberry biscuits, but the problem is that the wait time is always 4 to 5 times longer than what they tell you it's going to be. If they tell you 3-4 minutes, be prepared to wait 12-15 minutes! The next problem is that the drive-thru is consistently forgetting part of the order. I've ordered there about 6 times and on 4 of those occasions they forgot something. One of those occasions they pulled me up to the curb and must've forgotten I was there because my wait was 20 minutes. I walked in after 10-12 minutes but waited another 8-10 inside. Other reviewers seem to have experienced excessive rudeness, and while that hasn't been my particular experience, I can definitely say there's a very noticeable lack of a sense of urgency and common courtesy among the employees. Cruising west on I20 passing through Columbia, SC on felt the need for nosh and spotted their billboard as we had many times before and pulled in. Yes, you're right it's a chain, but one we aren't familiar with. We were surprised at how good it was, my chicken (thigh & leg) was crispy, spicy and juicy, I also had country gravy over a buttermilk biscuit and Mac n Cheese. Everything tasted great! My bride had they're version of a Micky D egg n cheese and other than a tad dry enjoyed it. If we ever come back to the south we'll be sure to stop in along the American Highway! read more

Incredibly slow service. I went through the drive-thru a little before 8:30 a.m. with one car in front of me. After waiting about two minutes to place my order, I was told there would be a three-minute wait on my order (a six-count of cinnamon biscuits). The wait was closer to 10-15 minutes. I was told to pull forward and finally went inside to wait for my order. When I went in, there was an entire tray of Cinnamon biscuits just sitting there, and I was told there was still a three minute wait. There was also no one in line inside, but at least three people off to the side waiting for their food. This used to be a really good Bojangles. I don't know what happened. read more

Went here around 4 p.m today. Sign on dining room door said " closed ". I was in drive thru at least 30 minutes. Staying in motel across the street. I got a chicken dinner with two side items. I got back to my room. No utensils to eat with, no napkins, I asked for extra salt and pepper packets - not a single packet of salt or pepper. I don't understand how this place has above a one star. The service is AWFUL. Morning AND night shift. Whoever they had in the window around 11:30 AM on August 7th, 2020 needs to be fired. Nasty attitude and nasty food to go right along with it. Girl huffed and puffed when I asked for mayo and yelled "OKAY" when I asked ONCE. I come here at least three times a week and not once have I gotten someone friendly. Yesterday really pushed me over the table for this location. Only a product of bad management. This place is horrible. The drive through was not moving at all so I decided to go in. I stood in line for 20 minutes for just a bottled water and two boberry biscuits. I was not told that there were no more biscuits and after realizing I had been standing there for fifteen minutes already they eventually realized that there were no biscuits to give. I waited five more minutes and then when I got the biscuits they were not done and still cold. There was another customer waiting just as I was and she was there for 30 mins.
