    Horrible fries.
    Kayla P.

There is an automated order taker for the drive thru and when we drove around to the window to pay, we still had to tell the lady our order. There was also a bit of a wait in the line. There was only us and one other car though. The food was a sad case of old unseasoned fries. They had to know these fries weren't good and should have been thrown away! The chicken was fried hard - too hard, but it was hot at least. The restaurant was fairly empty. No ambiance to speak of. Not a good fast food stop.

Sooooo Slowwwww..... I come here a lots since it's my closest Bojangles and it's always the same. Please put in new management for this store! The reviews should tell you something needs changing.

Both were generous with fillings, great flavor, and carefully cooked (so easy to burn a crepe....) I also got a lunch special, which was a reuben with cabbage and potatoes as sides. I do not remember the price, but this was a real meal. The bread held up well, the sides were well seasoned, and I enjoyed every bite. Coffee (self serve) was good quality and they made sure the pot was never empty. Service was from the counter and was genuinely friendly. They were all part of the casual atmosphere. The place is relaxed and has a real neighborhood vibe. We ate many great meals during our stay in Charleston, many fancy and some low key. Queen Street stands out as the most pleasant of surprises.

Summary: The ratings…read moreare showing better for this place than it deserves. Higher Chick-fil-A franchise partners need to take notice of this place and the owners need to be in serious check. This business should just close its doors for final closing. Background: I love the business typically more so than 5-star restaurants and prefer this establishment over any other. Over 30 years experience eating in this establishment name. Current Establishment: This place is the worst one I have ever been to. How does the business take longer than 20 minutes to get the number #1 item on the menu? How do the cooks not have enough chicken cooked for a Saturday night in a tourist/college town? A group of 10 patrons stood around staring at one another waiting for food. Why did the management not hire enough employees to keep the chicken coming? Place needs new employees, management, and possibly new owner for keeping such fore-mentioned staff. I waited all day to eat this evening meal and spoke about it as if it were one of the other nearby $50 main courses to coworkers and family. When I finally indulged, the long waited meal was OVER cooked and was horrible to eat. This is my new worst establishment ever. There is no ambiance as there is no seating here.

The Smashburger was unlike any I'd had before as were the Hashbrowns. We ordered a deluxe burger and a crust burger with curly fries. Both burgers were super good and juicy, and served piping hot and came out quick! The curly fries were a good choice too. The meat is well seasoned and they don't skimp you on the toppings. The service was really friendly also. The menus didn't offer an explanation of what everything was, so I had to ask. They have lots of sauces to choose from for your burger, so that's fun. I also think it's slightly pricey for getting just a burger with no fries, but maybe that's just me. I'll be back though, it was delicious!

One thing I really appreciate is their QR code ordering system. You can order at your own pace, whether you're looking for a quick meal between shopping stops or want to settle in and enjoy a more relaxed dining experience. It's a simple system that makes the whole experience feel effortless. Our group's go-to order is the trio appetizer to share, followed by one or two tacos each. Everything is flavorful and just the right portion size, making it easy to mix and match different tacos each visit. Bartaco is almost always busy, so expect a 10-30 minute wait during peak times. Thankfully, with so many shops nearby, the wait goes by quickly and is well worth it. Between the convenient location, good food, and laid-back atmosphere, it's a spot we find ourselves coming back to again and again.
