The honeydew is a must try, as well as Purple Velvet, and aside from those being beyond spectacular I haven't disliked any of the flavors I've tried yet- and I've already gone through half of their menu! I would like to see them produce a nutrition chart for their products but you can look things up easily enough online. This is the best boba tea that I've tasted in Boise so far. Most boba tea in Boise use powder instead of tea, which is something I do not enjoy; it just doesn't taste right. This is the first one I tasted that use tea and it was delicious. This Asian highly recommend! read more

The boba was okay - there was ice in it, which I haven't had at any other boba place (either in Boise or Portland) which made actually eating the gummies really difficult. I think I'd ask for it without ice in the future. Prices were okay, not great, for a drink that was mostly ice. I had the honeydew, which was super sweet. Not bad but I think I'll stick with the blended bobas from Yokozuna. The 2 star review is because although the drinks were okay, the customer service was awful. The woman at the cash register was really condescending when my friend and I asked questions about the different drinks and didn't actually answer our questions. It's like. Either they haven't had good boba tea and just decided to open this place or they lack some basic taste buds. The drinks are watery, sugary and weak. I asked to try their signature milk tea (already sweetened) and the regular green tea (strong and unsweetened) and having found a happy medium, asked to combine them. That is the only way I can handle their sweetness level. Also had their matcha, which is good quality but then they add like a pound of sugar. Why?! I have been to this location twice now since they opened. Everything has been good except for the tapioca balls (boba). They were very hard and chewy on both occasions. They are supposed to be very easy to chew and soft but these were not. read more

The young girl just stared at me while I looked through the menu trying to figure out what I wanted. I have had plenty of boba teas and this menu is super confusing. From working in customer service my whole life It would have been nice to have been asked if I have been in before or not. If not walked through the menu so I could of been pointed towards something I could of enjoyed. The purple velvet milk tea that I got had great taste but but not what I really wanted. If the employees knew a little more about common customer service it would help this place a whole lot! read more

I've been excited to give this place a whirl since I found it in on Instagram! I absolutely love boba and have had a hard time trying to find it since I moved up from LA. The ambiance of the shop was cute! They had a good variety of healthy-ish snacks available. I ordered the Purple Velvet. I'm a huge Taro junkie so I knew it was one I had to get! I was not a fan of my drink at all. From what little taste was there, it was bitter. It did not taste like Taro or Coconut at all. The powder they used for the drinks was terrible. My husband got the strawberry banana smoothie. I can't begin to describe how awful the artificial strawberry taste was. It tasted like plastic. It was my sisters first boba experience. She was extremely disappointed with her drink as well. I don't think I'll be coming here again. I'd give it one star but the customer service was pretty good. I wouldn't recommended getting hot drinks from here. The hot chocolate was just scalding hot water with chocolate powder dumped in. I got two super disappointing drinks. Both were expensive, way too hot, and no whipped cream or flavor. Will NOT be returning. read more

I'm a boba addict. After hearing boise opened a boba cafe (i'm from atl) I was up and over the clouds. They have the best variety and selection for different flavors of teas, but when it comes to the actual topping of boba pearls, it's a hit or miss. Each time I order a drink I cant count more than 10 bobas in there. Usually at every boba place i've been to they give you a good scoop of boba at the bottom enough to make several rows of layers, but here they barely put any boba for the amount you pay in a large. Even a medium. you would think if you're paying almost $5 for a boba drink you'd get more than 10 bobas. Once I paid for extra toppings of bobas and still didn't get nearly as much as a REGULAR scoop (not extra) would be at a different boba cafe. I was not pleased because tis happened to me three times in a. row that I had been here. read more

What a great place to visit! Love the selection of drinks. It's great that they let you sample to try different drinks. Also if your drink isn't what you thought they will re-make a new drink at no charge. They also have 1/2 sweet options. Love it! My daughter and I were thrilled! to find this new locally owned boba shop in the Boise area. It's the best bubble tea we've had (this side of Taiwan)--- better than any other 'teriyaki, tea, or pho' shops (if you know what I mean). We walked in and owner Steve Salas and crew immediately welcomed us, offering us a sample of their 'Original Milk Tea'---delicious! Whether your favorite is 'fruity', 'milky', 'snow', or 'smoothie', they have an extensive menu of drinks to please everyone. Steve even offered to create something 'off' the menu if we wanted. We tried it for the first time yesterday, and went back today with friends. Try it--you won't be sorry :) read more

After reading reviews, I was really excited to try this place and looking forward to authentic boba. I used to get boba frequently in California and had been missing it. I ordered a strawberry milk tea after finding out that peach milk tea (my favorite) wasn't on the menu. and could not have been more disappointed. It didn't look like any milk tea I'd ever had before and it tasted like bubble gum flavored medicine. I ended up dumping it out and just eating the tapioca, which was the drink's one saving grace. This is definitely my favorite place to drink in Idaho. I really like how there are different types of drinks. Hot tea, Smoothies, and Snows. I also like the variety of flavors and boba types. I have only tried the Smoothies, but based on that, I can infer that the rest of the drinks taste great! They also have a card that you can obtain that they will stamp. I haven't been here but I ordered a green machine through Uber eats which is matcha flavored I I don't know if I got a bad mix but the matcha tasted chemically and way to powerful and there was a ton of extra at the bottom I tried shaking it up before I popped the seal but it was to much to even drink I love the boba but the matcha just wasn't right read more

If you are looking for tea, come here. The staff is really friendly and the tea is really good! The boba tastes fresh and good. I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit. If you like boba, I would recommend asking for extra boba because not much boba comes with the drink. But Boise Boba is definitely a great tea place! read more
