I was on the white gold trend in the early Aughts but have since fallen back in love with the look of yellow gold. I've been slowly replacing my white gold necklace chains with fixed pendants-- (my favorite style) to yellow gold chains and they've all turned out so beautifully. John's soldering work is on point as well. I used to work at a jewelry store back in the day that did jewelry repair and I recognize great repair work when I see it. I mentioned that my husband's birthday was coming up and wondered if it would be ready by then, but I could see there was plenty of work ahead of mine. I was thrilled to get a call the day before his birthday to hear it was ready for pickup! With new gears, lubrication, lift adjustment and paint touch up it was gorgeous! Using it was delayed by some life events, but yesterday the promised cake was created and I'm here to tell you that mixer never sounded or worked better when it was brand new! I creamed butter, sugar, and cream cheese and it actually picked up all ingredients and did it perfectly! Absolutely thrilled with the work. Thrilled to keep it going without ending up in the landfill. I have a "new" mixer for many times less than the cost of an actual new one and anticipate many more years of use. Teresa buzzed me in. This space has a special and unexpected vibe. Beautiful gems everywhere! Thoughtful displays of her own treasures. There is also an impressive collection of spiritual books that she will loan you. She and I chatted for almost an hour. My chain is once again around my neck. She didn't even charge me. I very much enjoyed my time here and saw a lot of stunning pieces. Particularly a ruby ring that was whispering my name;) I will be back.

After…read morereviewing her experience, education and yelp reviews, I was convinced that she was the best person for the job. I spoke to her via phone and scheduled an appointment. Her location is easy to get too. Parking at the attached lot of the building is available, (if it's full, there is street parking around). The building is clean. accessible, it has an elevator, a restroom on the first floor and entrance on both lot and front of building (btw, try the handle). It's walkable to downtown and can occupy time for shopping, errands and eats'! Her office suite is quaint, and secure. Jane provided very detailed directions and information on her initial emails! I would say she is very personable, down to earth and knowledgable. She provided recommendations and/or suggestions that were very helpful to me e.g. jewelers, insurance. She was honest, and I believe well worth the money per her expertise, e.g., no hidden fee, and extremely reasonable on time. I would use her again or recommend her to others. She's not "just" an appraiser, she's a gemologist! So cool!
