I called Kunz because Yancey is ready but was told from the receptionist that Kenny whoever that is stated there was some confusion with the water company and he wanted us to call someone else to do the job. Don't hire these people. They don't want to work. Look for someone else. I gave them 1 star because it wouldn't let me not give them a star. In reality they deserve no stars. Bad business and the worse customer service. The receptionist sounded like she was asleep every time I called.

Kunz was recommended and now seems to have a truck parked in my driveway waiting for something else to go wrong. The two man crew showed up quickly each time and did very good, speedy repairs. None of the three repairs cost over $100.00. Plumbing can be a very messy affair but the Kunz plumbers all seemed to make an effort to keep the mess to a minimum and clean up any mess that was made. I hope I do not have to update this review any time soon. While I like the Kunz plumbers, I have seen enough of them this year.

Today, Sunday, 26 August 2018, he repaired a leaking pipe. I contacted him at 9:36am and scheduled an appointment for today. He arrived at approximately 11:30am and was finished by 12:30pm. Again, he charged us his regular business hours rate; instead of charging us more for working on a Sunday. So, I gave him a $25.00 tip. I am also going to give him another great review on my Home Advisor App. I am sharing this here because, every home owner will eventually need a great plumber. Also, yesterday, I decided to CANCEL our American Home Shield (AHS) Warranty because, they refused to authorize their contract plumber (ASAP Plumbing) to do this simple repair. Then, ASAP Plumbing "OFFERED" to do this simple repair for a fee of $425.00. I told them "No." because, it cost less than $200.00 to have that bypass installed; when our water softener system was installed, by a LOWE'S contract plumber. As a result of this experience: I am going to set up an account that is dedicated to home maintenance. Instead of paying AHS (American Home Shield) $37.40 per month ($448.80 per year) to authorize some repairs and decline simple repairs: I am going to deposit $50.00 per month in that account.... Now, I will never have to feel guilty about paying AHS $448.80 per year and not have anything repaired for that year. After I finish this; I am going to copy and paste it on other websites; including an email to AHS (American Home Shield Warranty).

***Consumer beware***…read more This is my second review for this company. My first review was a 3 star because of the quality of work all around. I had three mini splits installed in my upstairs bedrooms. Compressor is located in the backyard. My initial install was done in 2022. I was quoted around $13,000 for 3 heads and install. They finished the install in two visits and there was minor damage to my house but wasn't forthcoming in telling me. I witnessed it myself on my ADT camera. Since the initial install I've had them come approximately 5-6 times over the years, specifically for one unit that Louis said was an 'upgrade' for free. That free unit has been the bane of my existence. I called them multiple times to fix the same issue and I was continuously told that there wasn't anything wrong, that it was working properly. Each visit came with a service fee of around $165. There was an obvious difference in temperature in the room even with the cool fan blowing high. It would take a several hours to cool down the whole room. The other two didn't have that issue and blew cool air immediately. I got fed up and called another company to come check it out. The unit in fact had an issue at the compressor. The line was not screwed on all the way and it was leaking oil. There was also evidence of oil on the ground. The freon had leak to almost half of what it was supposed to be. 4Winds came to investigate AFTER I had to do some convincing that it was an issue on the install. I called several times because they don't always call back. I had to send pictures that the other company provided to help me with evidence of the readings. 4Winds came to fix the issue and the new tech in fact DID see the issue with the leak as soon as he looked at the compressor. He tightened all the screws, refilled the freon and it "magically" blew cool air like the other two heads. The units were not installed in ideal locations within the rooms. Two of them sit low on the wall and the problematic unit impedes a full door swing. Now that unit is leaking water and the carpet is wet all the time. I called back the same company that identified the issue and wouldn't you know...he went inside the attic and saw that there was tape around the PVC. The moisture and dripping of water is seeping through the wall which is causing my carpet and the wood floor underneath it to be wet all the time. The room smells like mildew and we have had to use the wet vacuum to get all the water we can. There is evidence of mold on the baseboard underneath the unit and the carpet is coming up in the corner and alongside the baseboard. I now have to get the leak fixed, baseboard treated or replaced and carpet treated as well. Shop around! Question everything they say. Get second and third opinions. Watch everything that they are doing and don't let them convince you to get mini splits when all they had to do was rework your ductwork!
