Kind of reflective of the vibe of the restaurant. Waiters were attentive without being disruptive. Service charge is included, but in this instance the staff deserved it.

You've got a quaint little spot that's tight but right--like the perfect pair of boots. The atmosphere? It's cozy, with a dash of refinement, where aged meats sit in their little "time machines," giving you a peek at the craftsmanship that goes into each bite. And speakin' of bites, those dumplings stuffed with oxtail? Well, I reckon you could set down your knife and fork and just grab 'em with your hands, because they're that good. A whole mess of flavor wrapped in delicate dough--pure comfort with a gourmet twist. Now, the Polish beef--well, bless its heart--aged 90 days and served with a peppercorn sauce that's a little bit regular, a little bit hard-hitting. Roasted garlic alongside it? Well, you've got yourself a party. You could say it's a flavor symphony, but I'm more inclined to call it a masterpiece, painted with a little bit of heat and a whole lot of love. And don't you dare skip the Spanish Padron peppers. They're roasted just right, bringing a bit of the Mediterranean to Warsaw. If you ask me, they're like the secret song on an album--unexpected, but the kind of flavor that sticks with you long after the meal's over. Now, if you think this place isn't impressive enough, let me tell you--this restaurant holds its own against *Casa Escobar* in Antigua, Guatemala. And that, my friend, is a mighty fine compliment. As for dessert, well, when you close out with sticky toffee pudding and a 20-year-old Graham's tawny port, it's not just dessert, it's an experience. A sweet note to end on, like a perfect evening under the stars. I'll tell you one thing: this night in Warsaw will be one I'll remember fondly--like a slow dance with a glass of something smooth and a plate of something even smoother.

They have nice deal for lunch with appetizer, main and dessert but you can still choose a la carte and this is what we did. Chicken broth--served with veal dumplings. Delicious an rich in flavor. `Szuba` Herring--this deconstruction of classic herring salad was a blast and the fish quality was outstanding. this was definitely one of the best herring dishes we ever had. Its a must try. Black Pudding Tempura "Kaszanka"--black pudding is a very well known polish cuisine staple and this idea of serving it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy outer layer containing warm and delicious inside served with carmelized onions, mustard and cherries was a perfect appetizer. Zuchini flowers--super crispy with delicious filling containing goat cheese and topped with almonds and rice chip. Light, savory and very satisfying. All the dishes had an awesome visual presentation that went with great flavor as well. I highly recommend this place.

This allowed for him to cook the steak to his liking right at the table. This was fun and enjoyable. Both meals were tasty. My Pull Rib sandwich was the most flavorful and I would order it again. I sat at the bar area and enjoyed a Malva Negra cocktail while I waited for my food order to arrive. It was the waitresses recommendation based on my mention of not preferring sweet drinks. The infusion of blueberry and lavender was surprisingly more balanced and didnt tip the scale towards the sweeter side. (So I ended ordering another towards the end of the meal). Now for the food...I was just blown away. I ordered the special which was a large pork chop with some plum sauce concoction that I cannot describe other than being subtly savory and sweet but an absolutely perfect complement to the hefty, juicy and tender bone-in pork chop. I was already full at this point since I finished it all but the waitress did highly recommend the panna cotta dessert which I'm so glad I gave in and ordered it. It was topped with a black sesame sauce with bits of pistachio. Additionally, there was a portion of what looked like/tasted like dragons beard but it added another layer of depth to the already superb dish. The ambiance is a mix of cozy, trendy and elegant which can be more casual or more formal depending on your occasion. I came in around 2pm so I must've missed the lunch rush since I heard this place gets some longer wait times. As for the staff, the waitress and bartender were both extremely attentive and friendly. They both would always check in to see if I was enjoying the food and if there was anything else I needed/wanted. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and treatment…read more I am Muslim and I do not eat pork for religious reasons. Before ordering, we had already asked whether another item could be changed from pork to beef and were told no. Later, we asked about a pizza option and the employee agreed. We misunderstood "cotto," believing it referred to cheese because there was another truffle and cheese option on the menu. As soon as the pizza arrived and we realized it contained pork, I immediately explained that I am Muslim and cannot eat pork. Instead of showing basic understanding or trying to resolve the issue, the only response was offering a takeaway box. I clearly said I did not want a takeaway box and asked for the pizza to be removed from the table because I did not want pork sitting in front of me. The employee then brought the box back and threw it onto our table in a disrespectful manner. We asked to speak with a manager expecting professionalism and assistance. Instead, the manager offered absolutely no solution and immediately dismissed the situation. We even asked them to check cameras or recordings if available because we felt we were not being listened to or believed. For around 20 minutes we repeatedly asked for the pizza to be removed from our table and were ignored. I was not asking for free food. I was not demanding special treatment. I was asking for basic respect and a reasonable level of customer service. As a 20-year-old customer, I was left so humiliated and distressed in public that I ended up crying. No customer should ever be treated this way. I am also attaching the receipt showing that we were still charged for the pizza. Deeply disappointing, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
