    Breakfast Pizza
    Uli B.

It's the Jamie Oliver of Warsaw...but it's unfortunately only a bad copy of an already not-so-great concept in the first place. Well - at least that's what I feel. I came here with two work colleagues and while I enjoyed their company very much, I didn't enjoy neither the food, nor the atmosphere or the service: - I had the Breakfast Pizza, which we agreed is a great concept, but in reality not very exciting. The one thing that turns distinguishes it from a regular pizza is a cracked egg on top of it! - The service was inattentive and slow. I also received a cracked saucer, and the coffee cup on top of it was spilling over. - The atmosphere, like I said, is leaning towards Jamie Oliver's UK restaurants (at least, that's what I picked up). It's a huge space and it looks fun and funky at the first glance, but then it's lacking attention to details and to me just doesn't feel welcoming. Overall, I didn't feel like a guest here, but more like a thing that was being served...

Make a reservation if you'd like a seat. This place is packed, even on a Thursday evening. My group of girls had originally planned to go somewhere else for dinner, but we unfortunately couldn't get a table, so we came around the corner and decided on Aioli. After our first experience with the Mini location, we wondered what our experience would be like. And it wasn't bad. Just busy. Our waitress was nice and helpful. She spoke some English which was good for my friends. We ordered a bottle of wine - the Italian Moscato Rose - it was pretty good actually. I'm not one for knowing much about pairing wines with food... but it went well with my Lamb Tagine Pizza AND the Pastrami Sandwich my friend had. Can I talk about portion size here. I'd like to iterate that portion sizes are HUGE and make the price definitely worth what you get. The pizzas are gigantic... you could really split one with another person and have plenty. I of course indulged in the spicy goodness that is lamb sausage, tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos. Mmm.. We were treated to some music on our particular evening out. There was a DJ spinning some uptempo beats that kept the place lively and pulsing. We were seated right next to the DJ, and enjoyed how "into" his craft he was. Aioli definitely has a hipster vibe, but at the same time I didn't feel too out of place. I wouldn't say no if someone wanted to visit again!

Look, I really don't understand why this has a low rating. The food is phenomenal but maybe it's the hipster attitude that has rubbed people the wrong way? If you like good food with a-hole hipster service, then maybe this should actually be 6 stars. #hipsterparadise M-F is a 1zł breakfast with purchase of a coffee, s and s is the opposite...keep that in mind Ps the breakfast pizza with aioli to dip is amazing...and so is the banana pudding

I really appreciate this place. There are a nice atmosphere, the decor, live DJ music and the tasty big food portion. I will come back as soon as possible.

12/5 Aioli has continued to do a fantastic job. Almost too good which makes me a little scared that something will change. Today I tried the spinach frittata. It comes with some hummus, soft cheese and a small tuna spread. These can easily be eaten with the flat bread that comes it with. Great presentation, great taste. Pretty good service today. Not the friendliest but she was fast. Previous review OMG! The stars and planets must have been aligned just right because everything was great! And they were busy! To be fair, it was breakfast and I knew what I wanted before sitting down. I also asked for the bill when I got my coffee instead of after eating = easier to leave. It took about 5 min to be seated. After sitting down, the server came and took the order. The coffee came quickly and before the food (often a problem in the past). The food came shortly after and was perfectly cooked. Because I asked for the bill prior to eating, I could leave when I was ready. Everything was great! 5 stars! And please remember that discount food does NOT equal discount tip. (Aioli has breakfast for 1pln with coffee purchase). My bill was 10pln: my tip, 3pln

How do I start? Let's start with the positive: yes this is an unconventional - maybe even special place in Warsaw. It is active, it is alive, it is loud and it is different. Aioli has a touch of Vapiano (if you know what I mean) but also a touch of hipster-big-wooden-table-cafe. Many people would say that this place changes the page of what can be expected from warsaw restaurants and bars in the future. BUT: how horrible is the service here? we were served by 3 different people - mainly one though. All three were very unfriendly - highly stressed and snappy. 0 stars for the service. And beware: don't make them walk twice for anything otherwise you might have to fear that they will get even worse. The menu is interesting. Fusion/italian style something. Prices reasonable. The three dishes we had were OK. Except for the pasta. If you have any sense of quality and like italien food. don't eat it. There was sooo much oil in the pasta that all I could taste was the oil. Sry @ the cook. but this is not ok. Looking at the dishes they look good and I do believe the idea behind the pasta dish was nice with the vegetable and meat combination. but oh well. All in all. If you are looking for a place that is "different" and don't care about actual quality and it is ok that the waiters are highly unfriendly. It is an experience to go here. If you have any sort of standards in food and service quality, probably not.

I was disappointed in the burger, the fries were tasty but the burger was over cooked and chewy. My wife had the pastrami sandwich and said it was tasty. This place is always very crowded, so I suspect that the food is usually pretty good, perhaps I would try Aioli again and see if they just a bad burger day.

    Salami pizza
    Andrew Y.

The atmosphere was too noisy and the service took a while especially during peak hours. However, the food was decent. The steak itself was okay but the herb butter improved the taste. The salami pizza was filling but a bit meager on the toppings. It seems like a hip place on a bustling street in Warsaw.

I am in Poland for vacation. I was super hungry and looking for a place to have breakfast. I saw several places but only one had a line to get in. I decided to check it out. The wait was so worth it! I tried the yogurt dish and the bread with bacon and guacamole both dishes delicious!!! I had the fit juice and a cappuccino. Definitely a place I would recommend and go again!!! Ambiance was great! Super friendly staff and great service.

I went Aioli for lunch and it seems to be a very busy place - we didn´t get a great table cause it was basically right next to the pizza oven but you really can´t blame them for being popular. I ordered a pizza which was delicious and service was friendly and fast. The whole place is very efficient and seems great if you are in a rush and want to have a quick bite or drink

I stumbled across this joint while I was on the way to the Old Town. The place was crowded, so I assumed this must be good. The place is really coming close to what you see in the States. This is a cool, Hip-Hop, trendy and fashionable little joint.

First thing you notice is the ambiance; I was seated outside in their courtyard, which is a secluded oasis tucked away from the street. Service was friendly but relaxed. I started with a glass of wine and the herring nigiri appetizer. Prior to coming here, I was pretty unfamiliar with the cuisine of Poland and surrounds, so the herring was a fully new type of flavor for me. The presentation was beautiful, the type of dish inventive, and the flavors themselves delicious and well- balanced. My second dish, the cauliflower, was very creatively prepared and was also delicious, if unfortunately slightly on the saltier side. I ended with the scallop ceviche risotto. WOW. This is the BEST risotto I have ever had. It's hard to describe; the interplay between the flavors was unmatched - and all the ingredients were as fresh as can be. I still dream of this risotto to this day.

For a weeknight, they were packed! Also, the entrance is tucked away from the main street. Look for and follow the sign to lead you to the entrance. The first thing you see as you entered the restaurant is bottles and bottles of wine on the shelves. I really can't tell you the overall space because I felt like I went from one room to another, pass the kitchen, through another room and was seated in a small room with about 6 or 7 tables. It's almost like a maze. I can tell most of the patron are locals. Friends meeting after work for drinks and a quick bite to eat. I know I'm in the right place :-) The menu is small and seasonal with the intention to order/taste every dish because the portion is small too. We started off with Bulion, which is a broth soup with duck dumplings. It was delicious and savory. The ginger in the broth soup warmed my stomach. It was exactly what I needed for our first night in Warsaw. According to other yelpers, we have to order the beef tartare. I'm not big on raw beef but it tasted better than I expected. The beef tartare is served on top of potato pancake. The potato sort of mellow out the raw meat taste. Great presentation! Chicken Liver Parfait served on a buttermilk bread was probably my favorite dish. I know liver is not for the faint of heart, but when it's done right, it's chef kiss! Chicken liver is incredibly good for us and a nutrient-dense superfood packed with protein and vitamins. I wish I can see more dishes like this served in the states. Foie Gras sales and production is strictly restricted in most states. We just have to try it whenever we are in Europe. YOLO! It's rich and buttery and served on a even more buttery brioche. Very filling. Skrei was a fish dish that we should of skipped. It was served on a big pile of foam and herbs with very little fish (see pic.). It's something I expect at a high end 13 course tasting menu, not at a wine bar. We each had a glass of Badenhorst Family White Wine. It wasn't the best I had but it works for the occasion. Tips: Service is slow and that's just how the European roll. Be patience and enjoy the view and take in the moment that you're in Poland! They charge for water and 10% service charge.

You've got a quaint little spot that's tight but right--like the perfect pair of boots. The atmosphere? It's cozy, with a dash of refinement, where aged meats sit in their little "time machines," giving you a peek at the craftsmanship that goes into each bite. And speakin' of bites, those dumplings stuffed with oxtail? Well, I reckon you could set down your knife and fork and just grab 'em with your hands, because they're that good. A whole mess of flavor wrapped in delicate dough--pure comfort with a gourmet twist. Now, the Polish beef--well, bless its heart--aged 90 days and served with a peppercorn sauce that's a little bit regular, a little bit hard-hitting. Roasted garlic alongside it? Well, you've got yourself a party. You could say it's a flavor symphony, but I'm more inclined to call it a masterpiece, painted with a little bit of heat and a whole lot of love. And don't you dare skip the Spanish Padron peppers. They're roasted just right, bringing a bit of the Mediterranean to Warsaw. If you ask me, they're like the secret song on an album--unexpected, but the kind of flavor that sticks with you long after the meal's over. Now, if you think this place isn't impressive enough, let me tell you--this restaurant holds its own against *Casa Escobar* in Antigua, Guatemala. And that, my friend, is a mighty fine compliment. As for dessert, well, when you close out with sticky toffee pudding and a 20-year-old Graham's tawny port, it's not just dessert, it's an experience. A sweet note to end on, like a perfect evening under the stars.
