Absolutely unacceptable customer service and treatment. I am Muslim and I do not eat pork for religious reasons. Before ordering, we had already asked whether another item could be changed from pork to beef and were told no. Later, we asked about a pizza option and the employee agreed. We misunderstood "cotto," believing it referred to cheese because there was another truffle and cheese option on the menu. As soon as the pizza arrived and we realized it contained pork, I immediately explained that I am Muslim and cannot eat pork. Instead of showing basic understanding or trying to resolve the issue, the only response was offering a takeaway box. I clearly said I did not want a takeaway box and asked for the pizza to be removed from the table because I did not want pork sitting in front of me. The employee then brought the box back and threw it onto our table in a disrespectful manner. We asked to speak with a manager expecting professionalism and assistance. Instead, the manager offered absolutely no solution and immediately dismissed the situation. We even asked them to check cameras or recordings if available because we felt we were not being listened to or believed. For around 20 minutes we repeatedly asked for the pizza to be removed from our table and were ignored. I was not asking for free food. I was not demanding special treatment. I was asking for basic respect and a reasonable level of customer service. As a 20-year-old customer, I was left so humiliated and distressed in public that I ended up crying. No customer should ever be treated this way. I am also attaching the receipt showing that we were still charged for the pizza. We went out to dinner in a group here before everything closed down, but honestly it was quite underwhelming given the crowd and how highly recommended it was. It was incredibly loud due to the music, to the point where our ears were almost ringing once we were out. I was the last to join and ordered a wine, and it took past us ordering dinner and the delivery of dinner to receive the drink. No major problem, it just wasn't great service. It's the Jamie Oliver of Warsaw...but it's unfortunately only a bad copy of an already not-so-great concept in the first place. Well - at least that's what I feel. I came here with two work colleagues and while I enjoyed their company very much, I didn't enjoy neither the food, nor the atmosphere or the service: - I had the Breakfast Pizza, which we agreed is a great concept, but in reality not very exciting. The one thing that turns distinguishes it from a regular pizza is a cracked egg on top of it! - The service was inattentive and slow. I also received a cracked saucer, and the coffee cup on top of it was spilling over. - The atmosphere, like I said, is leaning towards Jamie Oliver's UK restaurants (at least, that's what I picked up). It's a huge space and it looks fun and funky at the first glance, but then it's lacking attention to details and to me just doesn't feel welcoming. My group of girls had originally planned to go somewhere else for dinner, but we unfortunately couldn't get a table, so we came around the corner and decided on Aioli. After our first experience with the Mini location, we wondered what our experience would be like. And it wasn't bad. Just busy. Our waitress was nice and helpful. She spoke some English which was good for my friends. We ordered a bottle of wine - the Italian Moscato Rose - it was pretty good actually. I'm not one for knowing much about pairing wines with food... but it went well with my Lamb Tagine Pizza AND the Pastrami Sandwich my friend had. Can I talk about portion size here. I'd like to iterate that portion sizes are HUGE and make the price definitely worth what you get. The pizzas are gigantic... you could really split one with another person and have plenty. I of course indulged in the spicy goodness that is lamb sausage, tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos. Mmm.. We were treated to some music on our particular evening out. 12/5 Aioli has continued to do a fantastic job. Almost too good which makes me a little scared that something will change. Today I tried the spinach frittata. It comes with some hummus, soft cheese and a small tuna spread. These can easily be eaten with the flat bread that comes it with. Great presentation, great taste. Pretty good service today. Not the friendliest but she was fast. Previous review OMG! The stars and planets must have been aligned just right because everything was great! And they were busy! To be fair, it was breakfast and I knew what I wanted before sitting down. I also asked for the bill when I got my coffee instead of after eating = easier to leave. It took about 5 min to be seated. After sitting down, the server came and took the order. The coffee came quickly and before the food (often a problem in the past). The food came shortly after and was perfectly cooked. How do I start? Let's start with the positive: yes this is an unconventional - maybe even special place in Warsaw. It is active, it is alive, it is loud and it is different. Aioli has a touch of Vapiano (if you know what I mean) but also a touch of hipster-big-wooden-table-cafe. Many people would say that this place changes the page of what can be expected from warsaw restaurants and bars in the future. BUT: how horrible is the service here? we were served by 3 different people - mainly one though. All three were very unfriendly - highly stressed and snappy. 0 stars for the service. And beware: don't make them walk twice for anything otherwise you might have to fear that they will get even worse. The menu is interesting. Fusion/italian style something. Prices reasonable. The three dishes we had were OK. Except for the pasta. If you have any sense of quality and like italien food. don't eat it. There was sooo much oil in the pasta that all I could taste was the oil. Sry @ the cook. but this is not ok. Looking at the dishes they look good and I do believe the idea behind the pasta dish was nice with the vegetable and meat combination. but oh well. All in all. If you are looking for a place that is "different" and don't care about actual quality and it is ok that the waiters are highly unfriendly. It is an experience to go here. I was disappointed in the burger, the fries were tasty but the burger was over cooked and chewy. My wife had the pastrami sandwich and said it was tasty. This place is always very crowded, so I suspect that the food is usually pretty good, perhaps I would try Aioli again and see if they just a bad burger day. read more

Aioli is a difficult place to rate for me as it has strong pros and cons. I would try to summarize in this review: - Food: excellent price, decent quality, generous portions. Pulled pork burger is my hubby's ultimate favorite. On the other hand, oily for my taste and challenging if you are looking for a healthy option. They do have a 3-5 "Fit" options but do not expect them to be very "Fit". (Minus 1 star) - Drinks: very good cocktails and beer assortment. Tasty place to try new cocktails. The downside, as a wine lover Aioli is not the place to go. They only offer boxed wine which is not recommendable in my opinion. - Ambience: excellent for my for my taste. When every other place is half empty, Aioli is close to its maximum capacity. Expect to have to wait for a table during rush hour or evenings. Sometimes a bit to long. The live DJ is my favorite in the area and I could go to Aioli only to listen to the good music. - Service: meh, not their best quality. Drinks take 10-30 min, it varies from time to time. Regarding food we have waited up to 50min from the time we ordered. And asking for "ketchup" or something additional after you got served might take long enough that your plate might be cold. Beautiful space created by the people who truly have passion for food. I was brought here by my girlfriend, who also wanted to check out this fairly new place. We got there just before the lunch rush. It looks like that would be a great space to meet with friends or on business. The decor is simple, warm and modern, full of wood, metal and natural accents. Large bar in the midlle of rectangular space with seating nestled around it in front and behind the bar. There was so many things on the menu I wanted to try! They have burgers, pastas, pizzas, salads and some appetizers. So many ingredients is made fresh in the house- like their burger buns. We decided on one of the pizzas: it had artichokes and anchois and fresh tomatoes. Delicious flavors bundled carfully on top of a thin crust. I haven't been in my home country for three years and was so surprised by how much the food scene here improved. That would be one of my favorite places equal to the best food joints in San Diego, where I live currently. Looks like they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and are open "till the last guest". Some of the staff working here was saying that a pair of famous Polish fashion designers come here for breakfast every day. There you have it: it is happening, the creators are serious about delicious and quality food, the decor is great and you are surrounded by a good crowd.
