I have mixed feelings about this place. Somehow it reminds me of this kind of places in Israel - those mezze, grilled lamb, pitot... Everything tasty and fresh. On the other hand you feel like you are in polish "Gospoda". And I was a little disappointed that they have gas grill instead of coal. Israeli food is becoming very popular in Warsaw and competition is strong. And you must know that Berek is an Israeli cuisine restaurant - not Jewish. Overall it's a very nice place to meet with friends. I will come back.

Another middle-eastern restaurant on ul. Jasna and quite similar menu with other restaurants, so what is the difference? The answer is service concept and the ambient of the restaurant. The staff of the Berek deals with you from first time you enter to the restaurant till you leave(also in english). Also interior design is nice and spacious with open kitchen that's a plus You meet the first reflection of good service from restaurant when you order your meal, doesn't matter what you order 5 different kinds of tasty mezze and pita welcomes your stomach. I ordered lamb shipudim(skewer, szaszlik,şiş) which could be marinated more to become softer before grilling but also was ok Drinks menu also meets your expectations, you may order draft książęce or bottle beers either adequate variety of wines As my first impressions i really satisfied surely will visit again

I was there with Magda and some other girls that we meet with once a month. The place is huge!! Has a lot of space, although there is quite warm specially now when the temperature is high in the main area. We have orders quite a few things. Me and my friend had chicken livers with mezze (10) and cauliflower with tahini sauce, there was also baked eggplant, hummus and chicken. When it all arrived I was impressed, the food looked beautiful. I can surely recommend mezze as they were delicious and very different from each other. Also the baked cauliflower was delicious but it is a huge portion and may be to big for one person. The chicken livers - I must ad that I love liver so I try it different places - did not impress me. It was as a chef forgot to add any spices and even forgot about salt! On the plate we could see blood what in case of liver for me is quite repulsive.

Once a month my girlfriends and I go to a restaurant for a feast. This time we picked Berek. It was Monday afternoon so place wasn't packed and it's huge. I was surprised when I discovered whole other floor. Interior is simple and clean. I can't complain:) Huge star goes to the staff. The service is really nice, a little slow but once again it was Monday and we weren't in rush so I couldn't care less. All of the waiters were helpful and smiling. Checked on us a few time. When it comes to the food. Unfortunately its just ok. Some things are good but nothing that I tried is driving me back there. Hummus was really good- smooth and tasty. We, as a group, also tried - 10 mezes, eggplant with tahini sauce and herbs, whole baked cauliflower, ISRAELI SALAD with fresh vegetable, fresh chicken shipud and liver shipud(which I didn't try). To be honest Hummus and cauliflower were the best things to eat there. Unfortunately meat was tasteless (there is only salt and pepper on the table) and all of those meze were just ok. They have good selection of beverages. And we got shot of liquire on our way out. I enjoyed being there more than eating there. It's still good place to give it a try:)

I've never had Israeli food before, so I decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered fresh fish and a pear sorbet. The fish was a bit bland but the garnishes on the side put some flavor into the fish. The pear sorbet was tasty and refreshing.

Found it by searching a place to have brunch on my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised. They have very healthy and delicious choices with homemade lemonade. Friendly colorful ambiance, I heartly recommend it.

It is not expensive, especially when it comes to the prices in Warsaw, but you will get much more than you were hoping for.

On our first visit, We were too new to Warsaw and I was hesitant to compare it to other places. Therefore I decided to wait and give it a second chance in the future. Today, after three months of trying over 30 restaurants in the area, I can confirmed my initial thoughts: I have mix reviews about this place, and I am not inspire to go back. In summary: Food looks - great Food flavor - doubtful, misleading Price - high for the quality Service - excellent If you are looking to celebrate an occasion with great service, is a good place. But if you are looking into enjoying the smell, flavor and aftertaste of quality food, I do not recommend. The looks could be misleading... I am happy to recommend other places in the area where you have found much inspiration and have had delightful meals. My thoughts, of course nothing is said until you try for yourself.

Pretty upscale restaurant filled with middle-aged businessmen and women. I felt a bit out of place,…read morebut the ambience was very relaxed. The verdict: Pros: -Amuse Bouche was a nice touch - ingredients were very fresh albeit simple -Best soup I've ever had. I'm a sucker for anything truffle-related, but my friend also agreed that the potato soup surpassed all expectations. Creamy, with a punch of spicy chorizo chip and surprisingly filling -Main course was presented tastefully. I appreciated the unconventional hot clay plate it was served on, and the little tomato purée designs Cons: -We were (expectedly) charged for water, but it was 15 złoty (around $4). Wtf?
