The only, but serious drawback is the service and workflow. Soup has been served cold. Waiters did not offer any wine, and once asked forgot to bring the menu (the place was 70% empty, so there was no rush). We had a tasting menu. In every restaurant I tried such dinner (quite a few), waiters service was very engaged, described the dishes with true engagement and served some small things in between. In Amber Room we got exactly and only the dishes in the menu, waiters not always described the dishes, there was no alcohol pairing offer. Although the dishes tasted good, all in all it was the worst tasting menu experience I have had so far. Last but not least the prices. I don't mind expensive dining, when it is justified. But 100$ for small glass of Spanish Cava for the pack of four, glass of regular red wine for two, two teas and bottle of water seems little overpriced.

To start they will offer a glass of Procecco, at the perfect chill temperature. Then you can enjoy a small starter on the house. In our visit it was bison carpaccio. For appetizers, menu offers cold and hot dishes. Kale salad with cranberries and feta cheese was excellent. For hot dish I recommend pumpkin tortellini. Lemon sorbet will be served in between courses. White vegetable cream soup is rich, while cucumber soup in authentic Polish and very light. For main dish you cannot go wrong. Lamb was slowed cooked, tender, juicy. Duck was very good too, although the lamb was so tasty it was difficult to compare. Looking forward to our next visit to try the Cod fish or Tuna steak. To end the meal we order probably the best soya cappuccino I have tasted... Creamy, rich, perfect blend. The restaurant takes care of every detail. Waitress are knowledgable and attentive. Service is impeccable, yet still friendly and down-to-earth. Dates, anniversary, business lunch or dinner, or simply you are feeling it... Probably my favorite place in Warsaw to enjoy refined Polish cuisine.

Well, we just had to have Foie Gras one more time before leaving Poland. With the hard bread (or over toasted bread) on the bottom, it was tricky to share it. The small bite I had was okay. I don't get the spatlese jelly. It taste like it has alcohol in it. -Sour rye soup, potato, bacon, sausage, egg, marjoram, horseradish. I didn't try this dish but my friend thought it was interesting. It's a creamy soup with lots of toppings. With the runny egg on top, it reminds me of ramen. -Beef tartare, lard, pickles, roasted buckwheat, horseradish, sherry. Interesting how the beef looks raw but doesn't taste raw. This was a good dish. MAIN DISH -Veal tenderloin, cabbage roll, millet, beetroot, pickled currant My friend was surprised that the veal was fried like a mozzarella stick. The sides was not exciting or unique. It was average and not memorable. -Guinea Fowl, spicy sausage, potato dumplings, peas, morel sauce I didn't taste this or I can't remember what it taste like. For A main dish I took goose confit (59pln) and I wasn't disappointed: crispy skin, soft meat, good beetroot purée. Beef cheeks with horseradish (43pln) weren't anything special: served cold. For a dessert: chocolate cake and caramelized pear - very good, soft and not too sweet. Overall only 3 stars. I excepted way more from this place.

Every time I've been there after the incident - the managers (first it was Robert, than another ones) told me different stories: the new umbrella was on the way, the umbrella is already at manager's place and he is going to send me.. blablabla.. The schnitzel was excellent and it came with unforgettable mashed potatoes and a cold cucumber, yogurt and dill salad. I also tried red Polish wine, a Cabernet. And that too was also very good. We Ubered to the restaurant to walk afterward around the revitalized Praga District. The other clientele looked like trendy office workers so the staff was moving quickly to service the lunch hour crowd. The server asked us if we wanted the regular menu or "the lunch menu". It was lunchtime so we asked for "the lunch menu". We expected the server to return with a menu with lunchtime options - but instead less than a minute later the borscht arrived. It turns out "the lunch menu" was a 3-course prix fixe option and borscht was the 1st dish. We probably wouldn't all have ordered it had we understood but it was delicious with a beautiful beet red color and a pleasantly sour flavor. The main was a nice pasta with salmon and the dessert was an excellent pastry. We sat on the patio which was lovely. Very comfortable. Great restaurant with excellent food. In particular we loved our accidental borscht!
