Due to the power outage and my wife working in the area had ordered us both lunch here today. I had ordered her 2 chicken tacos just cheese and sour cream and had ordered myself 2 barbacoa and 1 carnitas taco. The staff was great and very friendly. The barbacoa tacos were amazing. I'd definitely order those again. The carnita one was a little tough but would try again. They gave use a red sauce that was hot and a green sauce that was mild and had a jalapeño flavor to it. This will be a go to for a quick lunch when I'm in the area.

On way to Ohio my wife and I stopped in here for dinner. Reviews detailed the charm and authenticity of the place and quality and taste of the food. They did not lie! Family run, warm staff and everyone involved in making each element of the food from scratch. Definitely would recommend if you are driving along route 70 or if you live in the area. Casual and inviting atmosphere.

Very authentic, fresh Mexican food. The location is not one that I would normally seek out but I was able to hear about this restaurant thanks to Yelp! The service was great. The owner took our order and brought out our food. She was super friendly, and we appreciated hearing about her business. All of the food is homemade here, which is fantastic! Our entrees were affordable, and a large portion size. I loved the sauces that were brought out to our table, they added just the right amount of spice. The restaurant was not busy when we were there, plenty of table and booth seating. Extremely clean and a nice layout. I loved the open kitchen concept, always reassuring! We brought our own beer, I always love BYOB! This is not far off of the interstate, please support locally owned Washington businesses.

Best street tacos within 50 miles. Great prices and amazingly friendly service. Highly recommend if you're in the area n like authentic Mexican food. Small shop in a small plaza, might drive by without seeing but def worth a stop

Fam and I were going to the circus out by Tanger and I came across Boga Taco. Everything was absolutely delicious. I'm from Texas and very critical of Mexican food and I have zero complaints. It it wasn't over an hour away, that would definitely be a weekly spot. 100% recommend I got the Birria tacos and carnita sope, kids got tacos and husband got pastor and carnita tacos

Fresh fried chips(not free), salsa(not free), cheese, guacamole

Ok so we always go to plaza Azteca because they don't use msg and their food isn't processed. We saw this place opened and thought let's give it a try! The chips and salsa are not free like most places. It's a bummer but worth paying for because it's good! The tacos are ala carte. My husband got chicken tacos and the amount of chicken was A LOT and well seasoned! I got the chicken torta which was on a sub bun and WOW was it good. The bread was crisp outer but soft when I bit into. The pickled jalapeño was spicy but not too spicy. I'd definite order again! My son got the carnitas wet burrito and it comes with no rice etc. and the flavor was good. The salsa was spot on with its smooth texture and cilantro and dare I say that it was WAY better than plaza Azteca (because plaza adds some oregano sometimes to theirs and it makes it gross like spaghetti sauce). The guac here was lacking enough lime and salt for my liking BUT easily remedied. The queso was just like plaza Azteca and yummy. The drinks are all $2 bottles or cans. No fountain pop available. There is indoor seating of maybe 10 booths along wall and a few tables. You sit self and waitress comes to you. Prices were decent. Restaurant was clean. The biblical scripture on the wall by the name was the clincher for us and it seals the deal about us DEFINITELY returning!!!!! We really liked this place. It will be our go to for lunches for sure!

New mexican restaurant in Washington!

New Mexican joint on Jefferson Ave is seriously fantastic! I think they've been open for about two weeks now and have heard nothing but rave reviews. Authentic tacos are hard to find around here. I had 3 tacos- pollo asada, carnitas, and carne asada, a side of rice, and a hibiscus fresca. Everything was amazing. The carnitas taco was my favorite! They came with fresh onion and cilantro on the side and two different sauces. Staff was so nice and food was done quick. Great prices for authentic, fresh food. Can't say enough good things! :)

Al pastor and barbacoa tacos.

Very good food and nicely prepared food. Highly recommend! I wish they offered ice water instead they only offer bottled water. Service is quick and kind.

Birria tacos, barbacoa tacos

Best birria tacos I've ever had! Everything is super fresh and made from scratch. Very good service as well

Any time I'm in Washington I have to stop and get tacos here. Real deal authentic tacos!…read moreThis time I had the barbacoa tacos. $3.50 a piece and a drink for a total of $15. Worth every penny! Multiple toppings and a ton of sauces to choose from. Their avocado salsa is delicious! Cannot wait until the next time.

First time ever trying a food truck. My SO and I were excited to try it…read more It smelled wonderful and the prices marked on the truck were decent. We asked if each taco was $3 and she said no, that an order came with 3. So we got two orders. And somehow the price was $21!? For 6 tacos!? They were the mini ones with just meat. No cheese, nothing fancy. We got a burrito, for $9! My SO said it was delicious but it was definitely not Worth $9 for just a burrito. I don't know if this is just how food trucks are? And the food was delicious! Which makes me sad that we would be taken advantage of when the food is actually good. But why go back to a place where I got over charged and lied to?? I wanted to say something but my SO didn't want to make a scene. For a a quesadilla it was $9 too. Delicious but damn expensive. $50 was our total and I thought it was crazy high. And the combo of 3 tacos and the "soup" was $11. The soup was more of a broth to dip your tacos in. I don't know if I will go back. She was super nice to all the customers after us but seemed annoyed with us. I included a pic of the bill.

We were told it was going to be ready in 15/20 mins and as soon as we pulled up it was being bagged We got their alligator fritters, beef empanadas, gator tacos and an oreo cream funnel cake. Y'all everything was so good. My fiancée absolutely loved his gator fritters and devoured them. The beef empanadas were filled with beef, corn and cheese. They were so good and loved the seasoning on the empanada. The gator tacos were the perfect size, the gator had a nice crunch and the slaw added another level to the taco. The funnel cake hit the spot. Cannot wait to check out their new location when it opens and both of us agreed that we will be back.

Food here was awesome! They definitely have a unique menu. It's exciting to see a place like this…read morein Washington that offers different types of food and plans on expanding their menu to include a variety of cuisines. Staff was very nice. Street parking available. This is more of a takeout place but there are tables inside. Now for the food! My coworker and I had chicken tacos, the gator po boy, and the chicken and funnel cake. The chicken tacos were on special for taco tuesday so they were $2 each which was a great price. They were filled with chicken and toppings but the meat was a little dry, and I think a sauce, like a chipotle mayo or something, could really make these pop! These were our least favorite part of lunch, but they were still good, I really liked the salsa. I used to work at a southern restaurant that served gator sandwiches, so I was super happy to see alligator on the menu! The gator po boy was delicious! It came with a spicy mayo. The gator bites were seasoned well and the bun was super soft and fresh. I wasn't crazy about the chips that came with it though. The chicken and funnel cake was the standout- think chicken and waffles but better! The chicken was awesome and the funnel cake was super sweet! I wish it came with like a spicy syrup or something. Nonetheless, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back, this is an awesome addition to downtown Washington!!!
