We just got back from a twelve day driving vacation from St. Louis to Washington, DC, and the tacos at Las Palmas were the best food we found the entire time. They put the meat on the tortillas, then you dress them at the condiment bar. If you ever find yourself in Washington, PA, this is the place for real Mexican food.

When my clients in another town found out I was coming to Washington, I was told that this was the place to eat tacos. Located in a shed attached to a small groceriá, tacos is all they sell. For $2.50 each, you can buy as many as you like. They were out of chicken, so I got rib eye. Sorry I didn't take pictures, but I was hungry. I then added my toppings - lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pick de Gallo, avocado sauce. The tortillas were very good and the meat was grilled nicely. Not very much English spoken but it seems to work for everyone. This was a bit of authentic tasting tacos in northwest Pennsylvania. I just wished they served beans! 2 large, delicious tacos and a large Mexican coke set me back $7. A really good deal that took care of my hunger.

The taquero works day and night in rain and snow just to get the most authentic tacos in Wash, PA. The store inside is very convenient if you're ever looking to prep up your own Mexican meals. My home away from my home. Viniendo desde Texas a PA, el cambio fue muy drástico. Las Palmas es el lugar perfecto para reencontrarme con mi cultura mexicana. Gracias por todo!

As good as Las Palmas 1, discovered on a road trip years ago and now the stuff of family legend... the lomo taco (whole piece of salty ribeye steak) is a must-order. Pastor is saucy and delicious, and always my favorite at any taco place. But what really makes this place is the extensive toppings bar with 6-7 salsas, onion, cilantro, pepper, tomato combos, including roasted and pickled items. Absolutely perfect night for outdoor enjoyment at the picnic tables too.

This place is uhhhhh-mazing! It came highly recommended and still beat my expectations! Most authentic tacos I've had since leaving Mexico. So fresh! And I LOVED that's all the add-ons are just in this little buffet style bar and I could customize it to exactly what I wanted. Will DEFINITELY be coming back and dragging all my friends with me. Can't rave about this place enough

Food is mediocre not the best but not the worst. Service is ok. The price for items at this establishment is over priced tho.

We asked if each taco was $3 and she said no, that an order came with 3. So we got two orders. And somehow the price was $21!? For 6 tacos!? They were the mini ones with just meat. No cheese, nothing fancy. We got a burrito, for $9! My SO said it was delicious but it was definitely not Worth $9 for just a burrito. I don't know if this is just how food trucks are? And the food was delicious! Which makes me sad that we would be taken advantage of when the food is actually good. But why go back to a place where I got over charged and lied to?? I wanted to say something but my SO didn't want to make a scene. For a a quesadilla it was $9 too. Delicious but damn expensive. $50 was our total and I thought it was crazy high. And the combo of 3 tacos and the "soup" was $11. The soup was more of a broth to dip your tacos in. I don't know if I will go back. She was super nice to all the customers after us but seemed annoyed with us. I included a pic of the bill.

We were told it was going to be ready in 15/20 mins and as soon as we pulled up it was being bagged We got their alligator fritters, beef empanadas, gator tacos and an oreo cream funnel cake. Y'all everything was so good. My fiancée absolutely loved his gator fritters and devoured them. The beef empanadas were filled with beef, corn and cheese. They were so good and loved the seasoning on the empanada. The gator tacos were the perfect size, the gator had a nice crunch and the slaw added another level to the taco. The funnel cake hit the spot. Cannot wait to check out their new location when it opens and both of us agreed that we will be back.

Street parking available. This is more of a takeout place but there are tables inside. Now for the food! My coworker and I had chicken tacos, the gator po boy, and the chicken and funnel cake. The chicken tacos were on special for taco tuesday so they were $2 each which was a great price. They were filled with chicken and toppings but the meat was a little dry, and I think a sauce, like a chipotle mayo or something, could really make these pop! These were our least favorite part of lunch, but they were still good, I really liked the salsa. I used to work at a southern restaurant that served gator sandwiches, so I was super happy to see alligator on the menu! The gator po boy was delicious! It came with a spicy mayo. The gator bites were seasoned well and the bun was super soft and fresh. I wasn't crazy about the chips that came with it though. The chicken and funnel cake was the standout- think chicken and waffles but better! The chicken was awesome and the funnel cake was super sweet! I wish it came with like a spicy syrup or something. Nonetheless, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back, this is an awesome addition to downtown Washington!!!
