Always great tacos!! And such a great price. I love everything about Las Palmas. It appears they're doing some updating in the outside seating area. So excited to see the results. read more

Las Palmas 3 - chorizo tacoa - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Pennsylvania

Hello. I've been getting food and groceries from this location for several years off and on. I travel to Washington about once a month, and stop here for fresh tacos or burritos. I have seen it change from a scruffy taco stand (by American standards) with toppings not on ice etc, and not so clean looking area, to what it is now. Clean, fresh grilled meats, tortillas, toppings fresh in a chiller. The sauces are very authentic. I've never been ill lol even years ago. Staff is friendly, and variety of groceries inside is excellent. Fresh select cuts of meat, vegetables, dry peppers, medicines, various products and services (international telephone service, phone cards, wiring money). Fresh pork rinds!!! Ignore the older reviews. The place has evolved. read more

Delicious outdoor taco stand with wonderful salsa and toppings bar. Some of the best food I've had in the area. Staff is also lovely. Highly recommend! read more

We just got back from a twelve day driving vacation from St. Louis to Washington, DC, and the tacos at Las Palmas were the best food we found the entire time. They put the meat on the tortillas, then you dress them at the condiment bar. If you ever find yourself in Washington, PA, this is the place for real Mexican food. read more

Kind people, great food. Been getting tacos from here for years. Best tacos in Pittsburgh

I found this place through yelp. It's about 5 miles off the highway. It's a small stand, open. No seating. Basically tacos or tortas. I may have been the only non Spanish speaking person there. Certainly seemed that way. It is well lit and reasonably priced, although I think I may have been charged more than the man after me, but perhaps he was a friend of the owner. Great tacos and tons of toppings to choose from. Food is easily 4 stars, likely 5, if you understand this is a taco stand and that's all it is. read more

When my clients in another town found out I was coming to Washington, I was told that this was the place to eat tacos. Located in a shed attached to a small groceriá, tacos is all they sell. For $2.50 each, you can buy as many as you like. They were out of chicken, so I got rib eye. Sorry I didn't take pictures, but I was hungry. I then added my toppings - lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pick de Gallo, avocado sauce. The tortillas were very good and the meat was grilled nicely. Not very much English spoken but it seems to work for everyone. This was a bit of authentic tasting tacos in northwest Pennsylvania. I just wished they served beans! 2 large, delicious tacos and a large Mexican coke set me back $7. A really good deal that took care of my hunger. read more

Las Palmas 3 - Types of delicious meat - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Pennsylvania

The food was sooo good and always fills me up, they have fruit and veggies. It's kinda like habachi because they cook in front of you.

As good as Las Palmas 1, discovered on a road trip years ago and now the stuff of family legend... the lomo taco (whole piece of salty ribeye steak) is a must-order. Pastor is saucy and delicious, and always my favorite at any taco place. But what really makes this place is the extensive toppings bar with 6-7 salsas, onion, cilantro, pepper, tomato combos, including roasted and pickled items. Absolutely perfect night for outdoor enjoyment at the picnic tables too. read more

Las Palmas 3 - Lomo and al pastor with salsa and toppings. - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Pennsylvania

This place is uhhhhh-mazing! It came highly recommended and still beat my expectations! Most authentic tacos I've had since leaving Mexico. So fresh! And I LOVED that's all the add-ons are just in this little buffet style bar and I could customize it to exactly what I wanted. Will DEFINITELY be coming back and dragging all my friends with me. Can't rave about this place enough read more

Las Palmas 3 - Beef tacos- 2.50 each - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Pennsylvania

From reading the reviews about the tacos and tortas....I was excited to eat some "authentic good Mexican food" I ordered a torta de asada and my husband ordered tacos de asada and carnitas. Both meats were precooked already, which they don't cook their meat fresh. The carnitas was dry and no flavor at all. The torta bread was hard when even toasted. Would not come back to eat tacos. Was not satisfied and didn't finish food. Thought it was pricey as well. Only good thing was the cocas ! read more

Love.. The best tacos in western PA. I grew up in Los Angelas and this place reminds me of home

One of my favorite places to eat from. Their tacos are amazing. I recommend you too try it for yourself.

Las Palmas has opened up #3. Similar to the other Las Palmas, with the market and Taco Stand outside. The Taco stand is on the left under a roof. The Taco stand has all the same sauces and meats. The meats are grilled on a flat grill and very tasty. The salsas are unbelievably good including a thin guac. 3 hot salsa are together on the right side and various mild salsa on the leftside. The man serving was helpful. The market/carniceria has some great selections of dried bean, produce, chiles, meats. A nice addition to Washington. There is no seating so take it with you and find a nearby park or take it home. Stop by and have a great $2 Taco. read more

Food is mediocre not the best but not the worst. Service is ok. The price for items at this establishment is over priced tho.

Authentic tacos! Felt like I was back in Colorado - these are the real deal. You must eat here! read more

Taco stand and groceria. It's not a sit-down restaurant, but if you like authentic Mexican food, look no further. It's not Taco Bell and it's not Chipotle, and that's a good thing. Brush up on your Spanish and enjoy a Mexican Coke/Sprite with your meal. The tacos come on a shell and you have to add your own extras from the cooler. No ticket, no tacos. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. Go here. Get tacos. Repeat. read more

Where to begin. We desperately needed tomatillos to make enchiladas verdes but none of the grocery stores had them. I googled "Mexican meat market" and this is what popped up. This place had absolutely everything we needed to make the perfect enchiladas PLUS an outdoor taco stand. We each got varying meats for our tacos and loved every single one. Great flavor and great bang for your buck. We can't wait to go back and buy more! read more

Excellent, authentic tacos that are modestly priced to say the least. Great selection and toppings bar. 4 tacos and a Coke for $14

By far my new favorite restaurant in Washington pa. Haven't had legit tacos since southwest Texas. Will be back there tomorrow for sure. The staff are super nice and polite read more

The best tacos I ever had on this side of the country for western PA standards even though the guy messed up my order the tacos were good

Best choice in Washington PA for quick cheap food. That is not saying too much in this town. But having spent time in cities that have vibrant street food options, and living here for four years, this taco stand adds a lot of value to the food scene here. Stick with the chicken, chorizo, or be prepared to pick out some grizzle in the pork and beef. A little grizzle doesn't bother me - small price to be reminded that I am eating whole foods instead of some crazy fast food Franken-nugget patty. Top your selection with fresh thin guacamole, tomatoes, some very spicy sauces, and cilantro and experience the LA streets right here in western PA. read more

And where is that place because in here at las Palmas they really need to look on the Mexican kitchen because for me it looks a very confusing place the rice didn't taste Mexican at all the beans where sweet not good but one thing they have good like some Mexican that don't know how to cook is make the salsa spicy so is good jajajajaja poorly on flavor not recommended totally disappointing read more

A little hole in the wall restaurant. Food is awesome. Right on the side of a Mexican grocery is a little hut. Cook is making right in front of you. Smells wonderful! Food is totally authentic and tastes great. Tacos are $2.50. Burritos $7.00. Will be back next trip to Washington pa! read more

We have been on the road working for the last month or so and have been missing good Mexican food. This is very good! The corn tortillas were very good... the pico was just as spicy as it should be.. very good and we will definitely be back while here in Washington PA read more

Used to live in Texas and when I moved up here in 2010, I missed being able to get good tacos. When Las Palmas got the taco stand up I had to try them. This place makes good tacos, I'd put them up against the good places in Houston any day. Not saying they are better, just that they are very good, not just good when compared with other Mexican in PA. That's not hard to do. =) I have been to a couple of their locations and each of them is great. read more

Small Mexican joint with some of the most delicious tacos you'll ever taste. If I ever pass through WashPa, I'm guaranteed stopping here. The food is authentic and it's prepared right in front of you on a flat top griddle. Passing by you might not even think twice because you can only tell it's a small taqueria/market but the tacos they serve are very much on point. Plenty of toppings for your tacos and a few plastic benches to sit on make for a unique setting to chow down and enjoy the tastes of Mexico. read more

Best freaking tacos in the Pittsburgh area. I'm a transplant from So Cal, so believe me I know good tacos. Searched far and wide in this area, and this was as close to what I'm used to. Needless to say I'm one happy girl when I can get over to the one in Washington, PA. This one actually has pick nic tables to sit down and eat my yummy tacos. ENJOY!!! read more

Wonderful tacos. I can't wait to go back. Best of anywhere in Pittsburgh. May be intimidating but don't let that stop you from giving these tacos a try read more

Another really good taco al pastor from Las Palmas. All 3 places are pretty much the same. Which is a good thing. Read the reviews from any of them and you'll get the gist. read more

Felt like I need a tetanus shot just by standing there waiting for my tacos. Super dirty and the so called cook smoked and didn't wash his hands nor did he wear gloves. Was fingering our food up. Didn't want to cause a seen so we just threw the tacos away to avoid any bubble guts later that evening. Will never go back. read more

Less selection than the other locations but still worth the trip. Tacos are great..no negatives.

I stumbled upon this place on day around lunch time and it looked interesting so I went in. It is a real Mexican meat market / grocery store with an outdoor Taco Stand attached to it. I thought I was back in South Texas for a minute! It was perfect. Right down to the picnic tables outside where you could enjoy your fresh, homemade tacos. I had 6 taco and one beef torta (you can tell I am home sick). The chorizo and chicharones were especially good. They also have a salsa bar with several different types of real homemade salsa. Be careful though, some of them are really hot! I will definitely be back, especially when the weather improves. read more

Delicous!!! It's connected to a grocery store and the food is tasty. Lots of options for sauces. Good portions.

We go there all the time and love it.......Fast and very filling. We load "em up and get a nice cold Mexican coke to wash it down. At least once a week, we visit. People are super nice. read more
