Worth the stop. Awesome burrito and authentic sodas. The chilli paste is fantastic, spicy and good.

This food is absolutely delicious. I can't lie. I'm usually pretty brutally honest and straight to…read morethe point, but I want a moment of silence for how delicious this is. Anyway, I got the veggie bowl (since I am vegetarian), and it is SO GOOD. It has beans, pico, rice, peppers...and guacamole. I usually don't like guacamole that much, but this guacamole is actually so good I ate it all! Also the salsa is so delicious. Extremely delicious. The service was awesome too. They were sweet, fun, and very helpful. Last time I came here, I requested a quesadilla with cheese and soy meat (like a chicken quesadilla), and I thought they wouldn't let me do that, but they did! And they were very understanding with it as well. The ambiance is also so cool, too. The decor is so well put together and beautiful, the music isn't so loud that I can't hear (which is nice, since I have issues with hearing), and the lighting was nice and made it feel much more ambient. This place is so awesome, I think everyone should eat here instead of chipotle (especially for the veggie bowl)

Nice atmosphere, good service, kid friendly…read more The food- overal it was fairly basic Mexican food. Not bad..Just very average. No amazing flavor on anything that we got. I will say, the place was packed and they still managed to provide good service. Personally I probably wouldnt return just because there are many other options. Thought it was a bit pricey for what you get also.

We were told it was going to be ready in 15/20 mins and as soon as we pulled up it was being bagged We got their alligator fritters, beef empanadas, gator tacos and an oreo cream funnel cake. Y'all everything was so good. My fiancée absolutely loved his gator fritters and devoured them. The beef empanadas were filled with beef, corn and cheese. They were so good and loved the seasoning on the empanada. The gator tacos were the perfect size, the gator had a nice crunch and the slaw added another level to the taco. The funnel cake hit the spot. Cannot wait to check out their new location when it opens and both of us agreed that we will be back.

Food here was awesome! They definitely have a unique menu. It's exciting to see a place like this…read morein Washington that offers different types of food and plans on expanding their menu to include a variety of cuisines. Staff was very nice. Street parking available. This is more of a takeout place but there are tables inside. Now for the food! My coworker and I had chicken tacos, the gator po boy, and the chicken and funnel cake. The chicken tacos were on special for taco tuesday so they were $2 each which was a great price. They were filled with chicken and toppings but the meat was a little dry, and I think a sauce, like a chipotle mayo or something, could really make these pop! These were our least favorite part of lunch, but they were still good, I really liked the salsa. I used to work at a southern restaurant that served gator sandwiches, so I was super happy to see alligator on the menu! The gator po boy was delicious! It came with a spicy mayo. The gator bites were seasoned well and the bun was super soft and fresh. I wasn't crazy about the chips that came with it though. The chicken and funnel cake was the standout- think chicken and waffles but better! The chicken was awesome and the funnel cake was super sweet! I wish it came with like a spicy syrup or something. Nonetheless, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back, this is an awesome addition to downtown Washington!!!
