The vibe is super bougie, but never pretentious. From the moment you arrive, the concierge is incredibly helpful. On my last visit, Jamie and Savanna were so professional that they anticipated my every need and took care of them before I even had to ask. I recently experienced a two-hour deep tissue massage with James and left feeling completely renewed. I am already looking forward to next month, when I have a facial scheduled with Heather--an absolute master aesthetician--along with a body wrap with Shelby, followed by an hour-long hot oil scalp treatment with Jude, a man who truly works magic. I always happily upgrade to include the relaxation room and the infrared sauna prior to my services; to me, a day at Woodhouse is never just a 'spa day,' it's a true self-care event and the healthiest escape I've found to manage stress. It's no surprise they are voted NoCo's number one spa year after year. With a milestone birthday just around the corner, I've already told everyone: skip the gifts and just get me a Woodhouse Spa gift card--that is all I want. Going to Woodhouse is simply the one special thing I do just for me."

Great Massage, But Aggressive Tipping Pressure Ruined It…read more I walked in for a 90-minute massage at WFS Massage and was greeted politely by Tina, who showed me to the room. She returned about 15 minutes later (apologized "for being late"), and while the actual massage was excellent--one of the best I've had in years--it ended roughly 10 minutes early. The session felt rushed toward the end. The real issue came with tipping and payment. The advertised rate is $100 for 90 minutes (plus tax, making it $105). I tipped $50--a generous 50%--but Tina seemed very disappointed and pressed for more, saying she usually gets $60 tip for an hour (implying even more for 90 minutes). She became confrontational, comparing me to her other customers who tip higher. When paying at the counter, there was confusion over change (language barrier didn't help), and the manager/owner? joined in, escalating things. They positioned themselves in a way that felt blocking, and despite yielding somewhat, paying well over the service cost (total around $175+ including the large tip), they still pushed for more with overflowing sarcastic "thank yous" as I left. A strong massage shouldn't come with guilt-tripping or high-pressure tactics over tips. Standard tipping etiquette for massages is 15-20% (higher for exceptional service), and $50 on $105 was already well above that. If the business relies so heavily on outsized tips to make up for low base prices, they should be upfront about expectations. I won't return, and I'd advise others to clarify all costs--including expected tips--before starting. There are plenty of legitimate massage options in Greeley that treat customers with respect and transparency.
