Greg helped me heal from long-term chronic pain and guided me back to a strength I didn't think I could regain. His patience, knowledge, and personalized approach to care is unmatched. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like family. Jess at the front desk is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about everyone who walks through the door. That sense of personal connection runs through the entire practice. Greg took the time to truly understand my history, needs, and goals, creating a tailored plan that evolved with my progress. He involved me in every step, empowering me to continue growing and putting in the work outside of my scheduled appointments. I always felt heard, supported, and never rushed--even with all my (many!) questions, he answered each one with clarity and care. Legacy Physical Therapy has set a true standard for what physical therapy should be. If you're looking for a place where you'll be seen, supported, and truly cared for--Legacy is unlike any other! I'm so grateful for their role in my recovery and highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, expert care.

I don't know about you, but I've found the last few months to be a wee bit stressful (hello, Covid:…read moreI'm lookin' at you). To add to pandemic anxieties, I drove across the country from California to be with a family member who was dying of cancer. He passed away last month. :( Getting a massage in the midst of all this seemed decadent, maybe even dangerous--the irony being, of course, that I needed a massage more than ever. I know the importance of self-care during times of stress and grief. And my body and heart were both so sore. Ultimately, I decided to put up feelers to see if I could (safely) get a massage while in Pennsylvania. I did a thorough search of massage therapists around Lancaster, and was impressed with what I read about Rebecca at Enci Wellness. Not just her rave reviews, but the fact that she was taking extra precautions to keep herself and her clients safe. I filled out a Covid questionnaire beforehand--which I was happy to do--and Rebecca did a temperature check upon arrival. We both wore masks, and she was attentive and caring as she listened to me talk about my body's aches and pains. Honestly, before I went in, I wasn't sure I'd be able to relax during the massage. I mean, hell--I haven't been touched by anyone other than my partner for the last four months! But the bed was so warm, and the music so soothing, I found myself melting at Rebecca's touch. She was both firm and gentle, checking in with me to make sure the pressure was right, then providing a truly exquisite massage. Let's just say, if you have not had the unique experience of drooling into your own face mask, I highly recommend it. Somehow, Rebecca has managed to carve out a safe space in the midst of a very scary time. She even has hand sanitizer ready when you come out of the room! She gave me a way to heal and care for myself without unnecessary risk. I walked away feeling a million times better, and so very grateful. My recommendation? Treat yourself. You've survived Covid-19. You deserve it!

I've had three shoulder surgeries, breathing issues, and back issues. In dealing with these issues, EmPower has been by my side, on my side, helping me get strong again. Carla Beam, who is the General Manager at EmPower, has worked with me through all of my challenges, by altered my personal training sessions to meet my needs. She has worked with my physical therapist to ensure my workouts are helping my body and that I am not doing things to extend my recovery, which I probably would have if I was going to a 'normal' gym. As I write this review, we are three months into the COVID pandemic. Most of my friends are struggling to keep their strength training going, but I am actually getting stronger. When this all started, EmPower did not let their members miss a beat! Josh and Carla quickly started brainstorming and came up with a plan to keep members engaged and working out in their homes. They have offered live Zoom sessions many times throughout the week that have been awesome! I have been working out with EmPower about three times per week since this started, and I am amazed at the quality of every workout. I have very little equipment at home; however, Carla has come up with alternatives to using your typical gym equipment. And, every single workout has been different! I am very grateful to the EmPower family for helping me stay fit during these crazy times. EmPower is not just a gym, they are truly a personal training and wellness center. I am getting stronger every day because of EmPower!
