I highly recommend Body's by Doug for any work needed. I needed to have surface rust removed from the roof of my car. My car is 14 years old. I called the body shop used by other family members for the work, but was told they do not deal with rust. They did suggest Body's by Doug. I called and took my car down for a quote. The staff was helpful and reassured me they will be able to address the rust and repaint the roof. I was a little apprehensive not knowing the business, but went ahead and scheduled the job. When I picked my car up, I was more than delighted with the work. Everything turned out perfect. They even vacuumed out my car and was able to fix a power window while they had it. I can't say enough good about them Also, "FIT friendly" (daughter is an alum)! But, they are fair to all, trustworthy, honest, and great!!! Worst experience I have ever had at any automotive shop by far. I had my car dropped off on 5/2/17 to mount and paint a hood, blend the panels and also paint work on a deck lid and to mount a spoiler. Long, long story short they did the rear of the car and it came out fine. Then came the bull. They claimed it took them an entire day to mount the hood. Then they claimed their paint reacted poorly to the fiberglass, which is something I have never heard. I called several other body shops and they all separately agreed that is 100% poor prep work or terrible paint. So they had to redo the hood from square 1 on paint, and they tried to push these costs on me. They also never updated my information in their system so they did not have my phone number I gave them 6 months prior when I had my bumper done. Worst thing is, I had work done back in December and it was a great job done.. Not sure what has gone wrong here but this was beyond poor service. Then simply for calling and asking for an update after Eight, going on nine whole shop days and ZERO communication from the shop, they have the nerve to say I was being rude. Then to top it all off, I get the car back with over spray literally all over it, my rocker panels were removed for no reason and not mounted correctly, and there was some powdery residue on my fascia and rims. I take it to one of the other body shop and they removed the overspray within 10 minutes, which is a testament to how pathetic and low effort this shop took with my car. Most unreal experience I have ever had. If you have a decent car, stay a country mile away from this shop.
