I wanted to love this shop, but my experience was a major disappointment. When I first picked up my vehicle, the work looked fine. But once I got it home, all the flaws and corner-cutting became obvious. * Bumper Fit & Quality: The bumper doesn't fit properly, which makes me question whether it's even OEM. An OEM Toyota bumper only costs about $200, so why cut corners? * Paint & Blending (and Dishonesty): The bumper wasn't blended correctly. At first, the shop told me the reason the color didn't match on one side was because it was painted on plastic. Later, the owner admitted the real reason: they simply didn't blend that side. Why the dishonesty? Instead of being upfront, they gave me excuses. They also claimed "insurance doesn't pay for blending," which is not true. Even if it were, a professional shop should care enough about quality to do it right. * Hood Work: The hood wasn't sanded down properly. Instead of fixing the imperfections, they just painted and clear-coated over them. Once again, I was given the same "insurance" excuse. For a $2,000 repair (mostly labor), this is unacceptable. * Trim Installation: The trim wasn't even put on correctly. If they couldn't handle something that simple, how can I trust the bumper or other repairs were done right? The only positive was that the job was finished in a week. But fast doesn't mean good. And when I questioned the issues, the friendliness disappeared. They told me I could bring it back, but after the dishonesty and excuses, the trust is gone. What makes this more frustrating is that I was convinced by all the 5-star Google reviews that this would be a great shop. Now I realize reviews can be padded and don't always reflect the real picture of a business. Bottom line: If you care about quality and honesty, don't risk it here. They cut corners, make excuses, and aren't upfront with customers. I cannot recommend this shop. read more

We were originally referred to Auto Body Engineers by C & D Auto when we received a $1200 quote from our car's dealership just to fix the rubber lining on our sun roof. Ken and his crew not only repaired the liner, but repainted the sunroof for 1/3 of the price. We have taken other small body repair jobs like fender benders to Auto Body Engineers. Ken and crew have always been honest, reasonably priced, and do a first class job. Our son recently had an accident on a Saturday: requiring extensive work to the front end of our other car. We had to leave town on Monday to take him to college. We left a voicemail message for Auto Body Engineers that we were dropping off the car Monday morning, told our adjuster that this was the only shop we trusted to fix our car, and to coordinate with them. It was real peace of mind, knowing we could leave town and Auto Body Engineers would coordinate the repairs. We just picked up our car. Not only did Auto Body Engineers do a phenomenal repair job, but Ken addressed our other concerns with the Insurance Adjuster, ensured the additional repair work needed was approved, so that we know the car not only looks great but is completely safe. Getting body repair work done is stressful, but Ken, Kevin, and the personable crew at Auto Body Engineers make it as painless as possible. Don't go anywhere else. read more

Ken and Kevin, Auto Body Engineers, are the best auto body experts in the area! I went with my friend a year ago when she got into an auto accident. They took care of her well. So, when I was in an auto wreck, I remembered them. They explained everything needed to be done to my car, and I knew it was not a small task. They also were willing to work with the "small" check my insurance company offered and worked with my insurance company. The insurance company estimated this job would take about 10 days to finish. Ken and Kevin got it done in 5 days! Oh! Wow! Awesome! When I got my car back, that was literally what I said about the job. They made my car looked brand new! My car is 5 years old, but they fixed, painted, punished it, clean it, and they even vacuumed inside of my car. I couldn't believe the magic they have performed on my car. I love their attention to details and they are very very nice folks. I would highly recommend them to all who needs body work on their cars. These guys are fantastic!! They do great work and they do it quickly!! When I brought the car by for an estimate, I was hoping they would be able to work on the car while I was away - which was only a few days from then. The owner said it would be no problem - just dropped the car off and they would work on it while I was away. So, I did just that - dropped the car off on a Wednesday and the car was ready the very next day!! I was amazed that these guys not only had all the correct parts ready to go but they repair the car so quickly! It looks great and I couldn't be more happy with the service!! Ken and his team did an OUTSTANDING job repairing the annoying and deep dent on my car. He handled the arrangements to try to get it pulled and gave me a very fair estimate which was 30% less than the insurance company's quote. Ken stayed true to his estimate and went above-and-beyond to repair some other dings and scratches. They buffed and detailed the entire car, vacuumed the interior; and, the results are incredible! This was my first experience with an auto body repair shop and it was absolutely amazing! I am fairly new to driving and after I backed into a mailbox, I went to Auto Body Engineers and found myself very pleased. They found the best products for the lowest prices. I needed a couple of dents fixed and a new tail light and they found them for cheap. I was skeptical at first, but when I picked it up it looked as good as new. This has been the best experience I had with body service in my life. The estimate was reasonable (almost 15% better that the lowest of 4 estimates I got). The owners and everybody in the shop was pleasant and professional and the job was done almost a week ahead of schedule!
