I've been struggling to find someone near my since I moved to sunset, and found Mandy on yelp. I was able to book a last minute 90 min deep tissue appointment. We started off talking about what has been hurting me, problem areas, and what I usually do for pain relief. She was so intuitive to feel what was sensitive and needed extra or less pressure during the session. And she is very easy to talk to and explain the what's and why's of our body's pain. I'm pretty sore after, but that's because I have such tight muscles and they've been ignored for so long that they are sensitive. She even did some gua sha on me, which she was very careful to explain how it works and the potential redness it leaves temporarily. I've had gua sha before so I dont mind, but some people could be scared of it.

I just had an excellent massage today,1 hour feet and body. The guy (I never got his name) has…read moregreat technique and worked up to the hour mark. I cannot recommend him enough. The problem, as other raters stated, is that they ask you pay before the massage, and provide tip as well. Then, after your massage, they ask again for tip. If you point out that you already gave them a tip, they will ask for more. I gave a 20% tip, but they seemed upset by this. I am not sure what they consider a satisfactory tip, but it looks like this is a game they like to play with all clients. Go here, get a great massage, but do yourself a favor, do not play the game. Do not tip before the massage, give your tip after, and do not accept any conversation about it. Perhaps they will change tactics in the future.

Avoid This Place at All Costs!…read more I had an unbelievably terrible experience at this foot massage business. Before my one-hour massage even began, they demanded a $20 tip upfront--which is completely unacceptable. When I calmly explained that tips are earned and not required in advance, the woman working there immediately raised her voice at me. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she got even louder, arguing that I could tip whatever I wanted--yet still insisting I had to do it before the service. At that point, I told them there was no way I was staying. There's no chance I'd trust my body to people who act this aggressively and make customers feel so uncomfortable. I left without getting the massage and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. If you value professionalism, respect, and a stress-free experience, stay far away from this place!

I requested a woman with strong hands and the manager placed me with Lina. The massage started lighter than I expected but once she got warmed up Lina was exceptional. She understands the body and was adept at using her elbows, fists and fingertips strongly without it being painful or uncomfortable. She checked in with me about the pressure throughout the massage and was otherwise quiet and intentional. I appreciated her calm and knowledgeable energy. I specifically asked for more time on the face and scalp, which she accommodated me without any further explanation. The bed and oil were warm and the room, while minimally decorated was clean and comfortable. They allowed me to play my own meditation music which made the experience more relaxing for me. After the massage I paid and there was no pressure to tip, but I was happy to do so as I was more than happy with the service. I was served water and offered tea as well. There are better prices in the area, but for the quality of the location and the massage I think the price was worth it!

This…read morewas my first time here and there were some pros and cons: Pros: - Easy online booking - Clean - Great location/easy parking - Decent massage - The Masseuse was very friendly Cons: - There was no discussion about areas of soreness or that needed attention - The Masseuse left the room twice which I found a disruptive to the experience - She turned off the heater in the room without asking me how I was doing - i'm not a fan of the hard wipe down with the rough towel which you get - the guy at the front does hassle you for 20%. To be fair it's a little confusing because you put a $10 deposit down so what you see is your total is not actually the total. I still found it offputting as did other reviewers.

My husband wanted to do a couples massage but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg, and I found this spot - wow, it is sooo worth it! We booked a 90-minute couples massage for $190 total (excluding tip) and it came with cupping and hot stone. The couples room was pretty much a makeshift setup with curtains, so we could hear everything happening outside near the reception area - but that didn't bother me since the staff were very quiet when checking people in and I was just super zen and relaxed to even care. The massage itself was amazing! The space is clean, calming, and relaxing. This is definitely a place to check out if you want an amazing massage and don't care too much about the whole spa/frufru experience.

Once you check in, they'll hand you a laminated chart where you can circle what areas you want targeted or avoided during your massage. This is the first massage place I've been to that does this, and I love their attention to detail in that regard. It's respectfully sensitive to people who may have invisible disabilities or injuries. This massage was heavenly. From someone who has a lot of tension in their neck and hips from working remotely, the masseuses here are godsends. I got the 60-minute deep tissue massage, and they timed their work really well. You lay on your back, and they start with light massaging over towels to warm up your body then go in with body oil, hot stones, and cupping. Then you'll flip around, and they massage your scalp and face. All of the tension in my body melted away. The overall facility and rooms are really clean. The individual massage rooms are on the smaller side but comfy. They're dimly lit, but you can still see where you're stepping and placing your items. I almost forgot my watch, and one of the lovely ladies working here brought it back out to me. Heads up that they give you a discount when you pay with cash. My 60-minute deep tissue massage was supposed to be $70 but ended up being $65 because I paid with cash instead of card. I recommended this place to my friends in the area, and they all love it as well. I hope to come back soon!

He did not know any pressure points, he did not try to feel out where the muscle knots are. I was in constant pain while he massaged the wrong areas. He did not care and the massage session was over.
