But the slow intensive care that she has devoted to them has changed not only my posture but my appreciation for an area of my body I've taken for granted all my life. I was very excited to try a new massage place where I can get my normal massages. I even made it a girls day by helping my friend schedule a Swedish massage. After arriving, I was being climbed on. It hurt like the dickens. I was hoping it would change and she would move on but it didn't happen so I spoke up and told her that I wanted a Swedish relaxing massage. She tried but I don't think that is their style because it just felt awkward. There was no flow and was just not pleasant. At one point, I just wanted by 1.5 hour massage to end. They have a First Time Try Me special, which is what I booked. Alise was my masseuse. I was lucky and found parking right in front. Alise greeted me at the door and showed me directly to the room. Alise asked what areas I wanted focused on, and did a great job of rubbing out the tightness and knots in my shoulders and back. I mean, as the others here have stated, I will also follow Bee wherever she goes. She works on me weekly and my body actually knows when I've missed a session. She's managed to actually help me get through several aches and pains and gets me back up and functioning. It's relaxing, but if you also need someone who will get that knot out, and get deep, Bee is the one. I am excited about the new location (and also still have zero issue going to Buddha Bliss downtown), because it's nice to be able to have a nice walk to/from the new spot. It's a 25 minute walk for me through GG Park, so I can't complain. I also don't have to look for parking. If you use the electric Lyft bikes, there's a docking station right by the new place as well. During the massage, I guess she forgot so I gently stopped her for putting anymore oil on me. There was already so much of it that if I got up, the oil would have probably dripped off of me. I was not sure why so I called the office to reschedule last week and was informed that the appointment time I wanted was no longer available due to it being "blocked out" on the schedule. Ok, no big deal. I rescheduled for a different time only to receive another email the day BEFORE my appointment that it's cancelled because they're unable to do 15 minute sessions. Ok, let me schedule for an hour then. The lady on the phone let me know the day before my appointment and told me now there are no sessions for 2 people available. Now if the office let me know in advance it would have been fine however now there's no availability. Needless to say it's extremely frustrating that I was informed on such short notice and now there's no appointments available. read more
