That portfolio alone is worth visiting just to see what what they started with and what they transformed it into. Matt is a phenomenal painter and does some of the most intricate portrait work I have ever seen. Ever seen a bad portrait someone has butchered on someone's skin? Matt's work will simply amaze you at the way he captures the human (and sometimes inhuman) face. You have to see his work to believe it. Jamison is the up and coming artist in the studio who learning from two of the best. His work definitely shows he's paying attention. He has a long and prosperous career ahead of him. Both Matt and Johnny are completing my full sleeves. I couldn't imagine a better place to get my work done. The shop is a showcase of talent. Was very educational and I felt very informed afterwards. The restroom had feminine hygiene supplies and was very clean. They service women, men and gender nonconforming people. All staff are women which was really nice. The only thing I didnt adore was that to get to the restroom you had to pass by the lobby, and given when getting tattooed you arent always fully clothed It was a little awkward.

[PIERCING ONLY] The…read moregothic vibe inside Victory Art and Tattoo feels so authentic compared to other alt-style piercing/tattoo parlors! The employees are very kind, personable, and clearly know what they're doing. The themed decor around the shop is absolutely gorgeous and their music selection specifically is superb; I must've added at least 10 different songs I've heard in-store to my personal playlist. The only reason I'm knocking off one (half of a) star is because among my times visiting the store, I've gotten a couple inconsistent assessments regarding a tongue piercing. While I don't remember any names, I've been told I both did and did not have the anatomy for a tongue piercing by two different piercers - and when I was able to get my tongue pierced here on the second visit, after the swelling died down I noticed it was too far back to fit comfortably in my mouth and gave me a noticeable lisp, so I had to take it out after a month and have it re-pierced elsewhere in the correct position. I truly wish I could put in a 4.5-star review on Yelp because I've gotten many other piercings (snake bites, double lobes, septum upsize) from this establishment with no other issues to mention. They have a wide range of jewelry to select from as well, so if you don't rock with standard studs they have a little something for everybody from jewels to stars. All things considered, I first visited Victory very inexperienced with the piercing process - they're otherwise very open to location changes and are extremely receptive with personal feedback. Compared to other shops I've visited in the area, Victory is a bit on the pricier side and may not be suitable for those who can't afford the price tag, though I believe it's a welcome trade-off for experienced, safe, professional, and clean service.

I didn't even want to tip him I was so annoyed. 3 months prior, my husband paid $400 for an intricate forearm name piece (same name I got) with color.
