My wife and I chose to get matching tattoos of a Celtic Trinity knot with a heart to show our love and unity. We easily scheduled an appointment either Hector. He is FANTASTIC!! We bonded right away when he didn't like a spiral line in the design i sent him, and we didn't like it either. Also great suggestions on sizing and placement. Very friendly and did great work. I've been a client of Tiffany's for years now and the new studio she's opened is hands down the best tattoo shop I've ever been to. Tiffany's artistry speaks for itself. I obviously value her talent or she would not be the artist behind most of my work. Talent aside, this new space is something different. It's HUGE yet feels cozy still (dont know how she pulled that off lol), and run very professionally. Not only did I find an amazing artist to make my dream of a tattoo sleeve come true, I found the only artist I will have do all of my tattoos from now on. Joanna is awesome. Amazingly talented, so sweet, wonderful conversationalist, down to earth, truly listens and hears a vision, a true artist. This was my first tattoo and I am so in love with it, I think I would be fine never getting another one after this! Anytime anyone sees my tattoo I get compliments. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, but I knew all of the elements I wanted in my tattoo. We talked through all of the elements and details that were important to me and the feel of it, she sketched it up, and I was in love. We made a few small tweaks- but she got my vision so well, they were just a few small details. This being my first tattoo she was cool in explaining everything to me, letting me ask questions, checking with me to make sure I was doing alright. Everyone in the shop was chill and the atmosphere is comfortable. Joanna is super real and we had great conversation- definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The tattoo healed up really well. There was a spot or two that lost some color so Joanna got me in for a quick touch-up. I couldn't recommend Joanna highly enough. This being my first tattoo, you can understand how nervous I was about the entire process. Needless to say, I was so pleased with the final product and how smoothly the entire process went. The placement of the tattoo was in a quite painful of an area, but Joanna did not rush and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She also provided me with two options in which we can group the flowers in the design, and what colors we should be using to make my vision come to life. Drove to the shop with the bestie today to buy some crystals! Yes, we drove 45 min out the way to a tattoo shop to buy crystals, lol. Ink Gallery has an entire section where they sell all types of crystals...made into key chains, necklaces, bracelets, etc. I was originally just going to pick up 3 amethyst necklaces but walked out with also 4 amethyst key chains, and 3 different crystals for my side table. Great prices for the crystals and great quality! We met Tiffany & Mariah who were welcoming and radiated positivity just like the crystals! We will def be back to book a tattoo session and buy more crystals in the future :-) read more

Bad experience with original co owner clouded my judgment. Tiffany the real owner is a class act. Dave my artist was cool as well. He tried to help me out but wasn't allowed by the now gone co owner. I should have tried to get through to Tiffany bc knowing more now she really is good people and wouldn't of let that fly. I came to check out the shop but right away I was placed with Dave and not joking I felt so comfortable I decided to get it right away . Me and my boyfriend came to get matching Roman numeral tattoos and off course I decided to get our date on my ribs and him on his inner arm . Dave chose the perfect font and spot for us and we loved it ! This is my boyfriend's 3rd tattoo and he said this was the best experience he's had . Wish I could give 0... Scheduled a tattoo session for myself and 2 others for 11/8/14, at 5pm all getting memorial tattoos. We arrived early only to find out that our artist, Dave, was out on medical leave until mid January 2015. Nothing you can do about that, BUT no one called any of us to let us know! The owner was there and didn't even have the decency to speak with us, offer us another artist, nothing! So unprofessional!!!! Dave does great work but the shop is so poorly run that I wouldn't spend a dime in this place! We ended up going to Hole In The Sky a few miles away, which I highly recommend!!! Quite the opposite of JM's review. Got a tattoo by Alfonso and half of the tattoo did not even show up on my skin after peeling 2 days later. I'm an avid tattoo collector and have been to shops all over NJ and have NEVER experienced the tattoo ink peeling off and leaving me nothing but pink skin and no ink. The owner tried to tell me that the pink skin without a trace of any black ink would produce black ink once it healed, which is completely inaccurate. The only positive is that the manager/owner refunded me my money without hesitation once asked. For their shop hourly rate, there are much better tattoo parlors in the near by area (hole in the sky down the road) that are stacked with amazing, experienced tattoo artists for the same rate. If they did not have "Tiffany" who was on best ink in their shop, they wouldn't be as booked as they are. Steer clear in my opinon. read more
