My husband has been receiving massage therapy with Kristina at Body in Knead (Reno location) since May 2025 and we cannot recommend both Body in Knead and Kristina highly enough. The owner, Molly, is very responsive and incredibly good at managing the paperwork involved in treating a veteran authorized to receive treatment by the VA (which, as we all know about government agencies, can be cumbersome). All I can say about Kristina is Wow. She truly is the massage whisperer. Per my husband, she really understands the physiology behind the treatment she provides, and he has a lot more pain-free time than he did before starting treatment with Kristina. I can see the relief in his face and in the way he moves after a session. We are grateful that my husband's treatment is covered by the VA, but should they decide not to renew an authorization and if my husband felt he would continue to get relief from the therapy, we would gladly pay the reasonable rates at Body in Knead to continue treatment with Kristina. Just to be clear, Body in Knead is open to everyone, not just veterans; but if you are a veteran receiving physical therapy at the VA hospital and think massage therapy could help your recovery, ask your physical therapist to submit a referral to the VA's Community Care Network. Whether you need a massage for medical reasons, stress, or just plain relaxation, your first call should be to Body in Knead.in Reno or Sparks. read more

My massage with Shannon was a spiritual experience for my body and soul. I'm almost 80 years old and I have never had a massage that helped every part of my body and mind by releasing the tension that I was carrying around. She addressed places in my body that needed tender loving care while also doing effective work to release tightness and discomfort. Shannon knew all the places that needed to be massaged and used her vast knowledge of the body/mind connection to help me. I immediately made another appointment with Shannon. The environment of Body in Knead is peaceful and relaxing as well as beautiful. I highly recommend Body in Knead and Shannon. read more

Have been going there regularly for over 2 years. One massage therapist often cancelled at the last minute. One massage therapist look like she was working on my body in her sleep. Irregardless of what your preferences are they wont pay attention. Lately, Management put up a sign in the massage room asking clients to talk to them when there is a problem. But when their therapist have issue with clients, they will not discuss how to resolve the issue with you. Management is hypocritical ! read more

Absolutely incredible massage and environment! Such relaxing vibes, knowledgeable and professional staff, clean and nice office. Had a couples massage by Kristina and Alexis and oh my word... let's just say... they have magic hands. From the moment we laid face down on the tables we were instantly comfortable and relaxed. I'm a new mom so my back Has been feeling wrecked and Alexis made me fall asleep she was so gentle and got all my knots out without any pain! Very respectful and professional! My husband said Kristina was amazing, she got a lot of his knots and pains out and he was very relaxed with her. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are searching for some pampering! We will definitely be going back! read more

First time here and I will be returning! I saw Alexis and she was phenomenal. Her techniques are affective but not painful, the upside was that she relieved a week long tension headache. The worst part of the massage was the hot towels on the feet only because it meant it was ending! I will be sharing her information with my friends and family! read more

This morning I had a session with Ms. Jessica; what a fantastic experience it was. I had never had a deep tissue massage before. Jessica reviewed my pre-session paperwork with me and discussed my trouble areas. Jessica's touch was perfect, as well as the amount of pressure she applied. Jessica hit every troubled area with precision. It was a unique first experience with Jessica; I walked out feeling loose and relaxed. I can't wait to return for a second session with Jessica. read more

Lily was amazing! Worked on the areas I asked and did a very thorough job. She was very patient with me nd helped me understand the process of getting a professional massage as this was still a newer experience for me. Rebooked and excited about my next visit! read more

If you know, you know... I appreciate nothing more than being able to make an appointment for a service online, without having to talk to a human, being able to type my name - rather than spell it out loud and answer uncomfortable questions. When I'm seeking a service and I don't have the need to talk to anyone, I LOVE ONLINE BOOKING OPTIONS!!! Body in Knead's website and online booking made it easy to identify what I wanted, which masseuse, and based on the information available, the decision making was easy. I scheduled my appointment with Tiffany. I learned later that she'd only joined the practice recently, but I would have never known. She was beyond professional. I had sited an allergy in my original paperwork, to which she'd made sure the oils available did not impact my allergy. The massage was amongst the best I'd ever paid for. I communicated shortly into the massage that she could use additional pressure, and she acted appropriately and then checking in. What had originally been a 'treating myself to a massage' visit, resulted in me purchasing a gift card for 3 additional massages down the road. Tiffany had kindly advised that Nathan is also known for deep tissue massage and to consider him for future massages as well. I'm looking forward to continuing the benefits of massage and checking out other masseuses within the practice. read more

I received a personal call from Molly, the owner of BIK, regarding my partner's massage experience. She is very obviously a hands-on business owner, who takes great pride in her business and cares about the quality of the services provided to her customers. My interaction with her was warm and heartfelt, and I am so impressed with her customer service that I have to update this review to a solid 5 stars. I said before that I would be back simply because my experience was top notch, and now, even my partner is willing and wanting to give it another chance as well. There's something to be said for great customer care and service with intention - Molly exemplifies both of these qualities with finesse. read more

I enjoyed my massage here with Sierra. (In regard to the Sparks location) after 11am I guess their receptionist leaves so they lock the door and you have to wait to get it. I was a little confused since this was my first time at the place, but Sierra was able to help me right away. I had a therapeutic massage and it was a great massage. I also enjoyed the fact that if it was your first visit there you get $10 off your first treatment! $80 for a massage isn't bad at all, I can definitely see myself coming back for more massages. The place is very clean and I like how close it is to my house! read more

I visited a couple of months ago and saw a therapist, Eileen that I have visited before. I was happy to know that she is here at this cozy spot should I need her. There was a variety of healthy type businesses in this shared office community that I never knew were here. The massage was attentive as I knew it would be and I was happy to provide some post closure business to my old friend and therapist. Thank you for the relaxing, therapeutic massage. read more

First time I went was today 11-27-2021. I could barely move my neck and the chiropracters were having a hard time adjusting my neck. After Romy Arguello took care of my problem areas, I went to my chiropracter and he was able to get my neck adjusted. I am NOT a easy person to adjust! Romy did an exceptional job in helping me. I will be seeing her on a regular basis! Excellent Place!! read more

As a former Massage Therapist, finding a great therapist is difficult when you have years of sports injuries. Body In Knead has provided me with a great therapist that is attentive, professional, and amenable. Penelope has provided the best of everything above. Above and beyond, she has a great sense of humor. I recommend Penelope for anyone with contraindications and as well for those that just want an overall kneading session. R.M. read more

Jessica was great! My back felt so much better after. Booked another session with her. Thank you!

Beyond a massage treatment. extremely sensitive to specific pains and areas of need. So relaxed following treatment. Grateful to find her.

Went for an appointment today this is my 4th. I will never go anywhere else! I always feel so much better when I leave. Beat myself up at work this week and Tiffany helped repair the damage. I had a lot of soar mussels and a torn rotator cuff. If you have not visited these amazing people, make an appointment! They do not disappoint! read more

Clean, relaxing great service. Had a short but great massage from Alexis. If you just want quiet and music, no problem, if you want to talk, that's OK too. I love this place and will be waiting for Alexis to be available again. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend! read more

I had wanted to try massage for a while and chose Body In Knead based on my wife's recommendation. As usual, she was right. Jessica was awesome in asking questions to figure out the specific areas that needed work and making me feel very comfortable as a first timer. She was very professional and I left feeling very relaxed. The 60 minutes flew by! I've already booked my next appointment and look forward to returning. read more

I had some very knotted muscles that were spasming in the upper back, making it painful to breathe. I called Body In Knead after reading good reviews on Yelp. Molly answered my call and was very attentive. She recommended Tiffany for therapeutic massage with trigger point emphasis. I could not have been more impressed with Tiffany's ability, knowledge and kindness. She applied the right pressure (I prefer medium to firm pressure). I am definitely coming back! read more

They only have basic massages, no hot stones or the like. I was a new customer, so I filled out a little paperwork and while I did, the massage therapist stared a hole through me which isn't comfortable. I felt like I was under a magnifying glass! Again, the massage was basic and I could tell she was used to deep tissue as opposed to Swedish massage. Overall, an ok massage and the price was reasonable, but I have no plans for returning. read more

Andrea at Body In Kneed has literally changed my life. When I first started seeing her I was in so much pain and had even experienced a loss in range of movement. I relayed what my problem area was and Andrea got right down to business relieving me of the pain in my shoulder, and loosening it up. I requested therapeutic massage wanting a more firm massage. It was firm without being painful, and the next day I woke up so sore, which to me is a good sign because it means she really opened up the knots in my back. Second day after and my back hasn't felt this good in years. I'll definitely be back! read more

I have bad Sciatica problems and my Chiropractor suggested I try a method of massage that is practiced by Kathleen at A Body in Knead, in hopes of relieving some of the pressure in my lower back so that it would be easier to adjust my back. I have had many different types of massage and I can honestly say that Kathleen and her therapeutic technique was the absolute best I have ever had. She is straight up a healer and the experience was amazing. For the first time in over a month I had a day without pain and I can finally see an end to the problem. read more

This was my first time going for a massage, and I really enjoyed it. I went for a 60 minute-therapeutic massage with Mercedes. She is very knowledgeable and professional, and she gave me tips on dealing with my sciatica. The massage was great, and I'll be back again next week. read more

They do good work - I went in because my shoulder hurt and they did problem focused as well as general massage. The "relaxing massage" places can't do that, so if you've got any pain, this is the place to be. read more
