Very greedy attitude! Premium gym, premium price that's fine but I signed up for the premium…read moremembership and they nickel and dime me to the point where after one month I quit. They didn't tell me that I needed to buy or rent a wrist monitor so that was $110 I didn't expect then I forgot it one day and they charge me $10 to rent one. If you have a busy schedule be careful when you reschedule appointments they are not at all flexible. i missed a few classes and they charge $12 if you schedule and then don't make it. Overall it's very unfriendly from a customer service standpoint. The kind of management that writes a tough binding agreement and the quotes it at you.

I was also not a fan of the expensive membership prices. However, I realize that this is probably exactly what I need: combination of strength and cardio guided workouts in a class setting. No planning your workouts at all, just show up and do it. The workouts are challenging BUT DOABLE for all levels, even me. You'll be surprised in yourself in what you can do, you just have to try. So 5 classes later, Elite Membership (8x/month), I have my own OTBeat Burn and I'm LOVING seeing my progress on the screen. If you're tired of:…read more - waiting to use one of 2-3 benches / squat racks / deadlift platforms - the overly sexualized "club" atmosphere of commercial gyms - annoying "trainers" trying to sell you "routines" / supplements - feeling too old, too young, or too weak Then this may be the perfect gym for you. The equipment is top of the line and plentiful, the environment is family-friendly, the owners / staff have decades of coaching experience, and I can just about guarantee that you will run into someone of your age and/or level of experience. There are definitely some elite lifters here, but if you show up and show that you're working on improving yourself you will fit in and feel welcomed right away. Don't take my word for it though. Call the number, set up a visit, and find out for yourself. It's really that simple.

Top of the line equipment and good atmosphere. HOWEVER. If you're willing to take off the headphones and get in with the evening training sessions, I GUARANTEE that you will be pushed past any limit you thought you may have had. You will get stronger, your technique will improve, and you will gain a family. It doesn't matter what level you're at coming in at, everyone's on the same level in there working toward the same goal pushing you all the way. Truly a unique experience that will take you and your training to the next level.

So, I had no idea what to expect when going to a "Cross Fit" "Box." I was apprehensive, yet I knew…read morethat the typical gym and at-home workouts weren't getting me to challenge myself. I needed to find a well-educated, professional, and experienced trainer to work with (until I feel ready to participate in a class by myself). I am very impressed with Cross Fit AR's first free workout. After that, the next four sessions cost $25 each. After the four sessions, I could have started classes. I chose personal training and could not be more pleased Don't get me wrong, it's very challenging for me. Ian, my trainer, pays close attention to my form, frustration level and when I need to keep pushing to the "next level." Unlike trainers I have worked with in the past, Ian genuinely appears interested and doesn't just "get by" with a cookie-cutter workout. I have also trained with Danielle. She is also extremely talented and good at making workouts challenging, yet fun. There are regular "classes" with the Workouts of the Day - these are customized for every individual. I was very impressed to learn that there are also very structured classes for kids. I know that there are a multitude of "Cross Fit" options available. I urge you to give Cross Fit AR Strength a try.

Over time, they helped my form, technique, and made me really enjoy the sport while taking my game to the next level. Ian, Corey, and the other coaches really helped push me beyond what I thought I could do. I left with some great results and even better friends. I try to go back whenever I am in the area as I have yet to find a gym (traditional or CrossFit box) that challenges me in the way that this place has. Highly recommend!

Similar to a small YMCA gym. Better than a planet fitness although much smaller. I go after work at…read morethe hospital around 4-6pm and it's never crowded. Gym is clean and equipment is a bit older but maintained well. Locker rooms are clean. Women's has two showers and have shampoo, conditioner, hair gel and lotion. Plenty of lockers with included locks and keys. Weights: Two power cages/squat racks and a smith machine. Ample plates from 2.5lb-45lb. About 7 adjustable benches (no rack, just the bench)and dumbbells up to 100 lbs or so. A cable machine with about 8 stations and lots of attachments. The cable machine has numbers, not weight equivalents. Assisted or unassisted pull-up/dip station. Variety of kettlebells up to about 50lbs. Other equipment: 3 plyo boxes up up to 24" tall. There's a large cushioned bench, probably 8'x8', that's great for core work, rather than laying on the floor. Resistance bands and station to attach them at various heights. TRX straps on one of the power cages. A handful of medicine balls. Cardio: About 8 treadmills, 5 ellipticals, 5 stationary bikes and 2 rowing machines. Some of the stationary bikes are a little wonky. Machines: Circuit of about 15 well-maintained machines including bench press, overhead press, row, leg press, bicep curl, ab/back extension and more. Classes: 2-3 per day at noon and around 4. Some yoga, some fitness. Amenities: TVs, controllable from the cardio equipment. Nice view of the highway and the woods beyond. Water, powerade and bottled protein drinks available at reasonable prices. It's $24.99/mo or free for LVHN staff. It's for general fitness. Not a luxe club or a powerlifting gym. Some people are pretty fit, some not fit at all, most people are average. If I could change things, I would add more free weights and take out some of the machines. I hardly ever see anyone on the machines. Will add pics if I can get any without people. Will update if I get more accurate counts on the equipment.
