My roommate was first and Pam used same bleach for both of us. I however was just wanting a few highlights around crown are to blend roots better. 5 total foils is all she place in before putting me under dryer for 30 minutes not one time checking on processing . Finally the receptionist rinses both my roommate and I and the receptionist applied both our toners. Rinses the toner and back to chair. I was in a hurry and told pam just blow dry a little I was in a hurry. Color seemed to look and blend to my liking . I go to pay and am charged $115 for 5 foils and a $23 bottle of thermal spritz. $115!!!!!!! For 5 foils! Wow what happened to $49 partial? Well you had product too I said yes but $23. Forget it I paid and left . The next day I shampooed my hair and got to looking and couldn't believe the breakage from over processing. Tiger stripes along crown of my head. What a disaster this service turned out to be. My roommates was worse. So we call Pam and tell her about damage and she doesn't assume any fault she told us you both were happy when you left. My roommate told her why would you recommend a hair breakage product to me instead of a color shampoo and conditioner. Because she knew she over processed both of us and still hasn't done anything to make it right. Pam keeps turning the blame back over to us not offering trims or deep conditioning. Nothing! We feel she needs to be accountable so we will see who the courts feel is responsible for our hair breakage .

I don't know if they know how to handle wavy hair but my hair certainly didn't turn out the way that I hoped it would. I even told the girl I wanted shorter layers and she said 'oh I prefer my layers not so seen' which I personally like my layers seen since it works better with my wavy hair. Anyways, I'm sorry I won't be coming back here. I just didn't get the experience or haircut I was hoping for.

I have been coming for a massage monthly for some time now. Over two years of monthly membership. I…read morealways look forward to my massages. I am doing another update considering what recently happened. A month ago I had an appointment. I got a call from Spavia that my masseuse was not going to be able to make the appointment. We were able to set up a quick appointment for that weekend. That day came around and I got a call a couple hours before the appointment. The new masseuse had an emergency was wasn't going to be able to make it. This wasn't the norm and they were happy to offer additional changes to try and make up for the situation. It was really nice for them to offer the options that they did. They say this doesn't happen often and felt bad. Here is the normal massage breakdown. Warmed massage tables call my name on a cold Iowa evening. Darkened hallways start to set the mood. Electric candles line the floor to help guide you to where you need to be. Once you are in the locker room you can change into your robe and slippers. This is not required with every service they offer. You have your own locker which you set the lock. They have 2 little curtained off changing rooms. The wall hooks have broken over time, but if I can I just use the roomy bathroom to change. Once you have all your personal items locked away you can step into the lounging area. 4-5 different places to sit. Electric fireplace on the wall. Some books, gentle music, little water fountain. All the things to help you relax. They have warming neck wraps and hot water for tea. If you are early enough for your appointment, then take advantage and chill. When your time comes you get called back. My personal preference is one individual for body massages. I have to book months in advance to make sure I am getting him. I dont want to share, but its Eddy. He is amazing. He listens to me and remembers my preferences. After heavenly treatment you are escorted back to the lounge. You can hang out and decompress or you can head out. As of my last visit in Sept '24 they just updated the furniture in there. It is not really comfy as before. I have tried another service here, but prefer my monthly membership booking a massage each time. Read less
