I was desperate to get in somewhere last minute on a Sunday afternoon. I had called all the big box…read morechains and had zero luck finding an opening. I was desperate to get some alleviation on persistent back pain I had been dealing with for the last few weeks. I had never gone to a "strip mall parlor" so I was a bit leary at first, but my back was really bothering me so I caved and came to this location. I was surprised at how spacious it was on the inside and everything looked very clean. The lady at the front was nice and she quickly got me settled into a large room that had two beds in it. I had told the lady at the front that I wanted to do a 90 minute massage, but I did not really specify what type of massage or anything like that. The room was very dim, and the bed was cozy. There was soft Zen music playing, which was a lovely touch. The room also had two sitting chairs as well as hooks to hang your clothes on. I have had many massages in my lifetime , but this one was BY FAR the best. I don't know what king of massage it was, but definitely felt like some sort deep tissue because she really got in there. Many times she was kneeling on the bed itself to get deep into muscles that I didn't even know I had. It was like she had a roadmap to every bone and muscle and ligament in my body -- and she found every knot that needed to be untangled. By the end, I was exhausted and felt like all my muscles were stretched and smoothed out, and it was absolutely euphoric. I've spent the rest of the afternoon drinking plenty of water and resting my body because I can tell that I will have some expected muscle soreness over the next day or two. I will absolutely come back here again, and also going to convince my husband to come as well. Highly recommend this place if you want to get knots worked out and old muscles revived. The price for the service was unbeatable too. THANK YOU!!

Monica's was amazing! I called about 20 minutes before coming in, and they were able to fit me in…read more I was in drumline for 4 years, which put a lot of strain carrying 35 pound drum on my shoulders and back, and I have a large chest which also puts strain in those areas, so needless to say I definitely need massages, and I need them to be deep. This is exactly what I got. There actually was a student there, so both her and the masseuse both worked their magic on me. It was the most intense massage I've ever had (not for wimps!) but that's because I asked for it, and I needed it. I felt amazing after. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the masseuse got there almost 15 minutes late (I know I scheduled my appt last minute, but if she couldn't make it then I could have just scheduled it for 4:15 instead of rushing there just to wait) and it was over 15 minutes of me laying there with a heating pad on my back before anyone came in. This got frustrating after a while because I could hear everyone talking up front so it wasn't peaceful, I didn't know it would be this long of an ordeal (I assumed maybe 5 minutes max of this would happen to warm my muscles up) and I have a heating pad at home if I want 15+ minutes of sitting with it on. But everything after that was amazing. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks!!

I knew my neck was tight and I hoped a massage would help loosen things. Knowing that I didn't want to go to a normal spa for a simple relaxation massage, I found Monica's Massage online and thought I'd give it a shot. I booked a 90 minute massage, assuming that the length would help. I told her my issues and headache problems and she told me that I should do a deep tissue massage and she went to work on me. The massage was deep, intense, and loosened me up amazingly. I had NO idea that I had knots in places on my upper back and shoulders. She told me that 90 minutes would be too long for this type of massage and we only did 50 minutes. It was *perfect.* The night of the massage I felt better than I had in weeks and was able to sleep through the night without waking with head pain. I plan to return to loosen up the rest of the knots and keep me in tip top shape. (Update October 2014) I have been headache free for months, and cannot recommend Monica's massage highly enough. I return for periodic maintenance, but have been feeling amazing ever since starting this process. THANK YOU Monica!
