Decided to do much needed repairs to the exterior of my house, the vendor that is going to do some stack stone recommended this company after I told him the quotes I was getting on window replacement. Sam came out and took measurements asked some questions and I was then called with an estimate about 2 days later . Price was fair for retrofit windows. My windows had to be custom made due to unusual window sizes but was advised it would be ordered and we scheduled an install for 3 weeks later. I was out of town on the date of the installation, but it felt amazing to come home to new beautiful windows and zero mess. I would highly recommend. read more

We had a few hiccups before the job started, but I have never witnessed window glass replacement, so this was a new experience. 98-year old windows all along one side of our home faced our very-close neighbors' stucco patchy wall and messy sad hedge. (The neighbors are delightful overworked young parents). The view from my windows bothered me, it was MY problem, so I had Bodie's change the glass out to "reed glass," a rippled kind of texture that lets in all the light but obscures the view. Voila, like magic, my problem is solved and no feelings hurt by the neighbors. The techs were methodical, cautious (after all, very old glass is dangerous), clean, precise and cool dudes. They did all the work on our premises. The investment was really worth it. read more

My sons called me at around 3:00pm and told me they hit my daughters bedroom window with a wiffleball by accident and broke the window! Desperately needing it fixed the same day, I knew I was asking a lot. I called a place I found on Yelp and they quoted me almost $200 and couldn't come out until the next day (which I figured). Driving home, I remembered I pass this glass shop every day called Bodie's... so I gave them a call around 3:35pm and asked for a quote. The quote was noticeably lower than the previous quote I got from the other place so I was stoked and asked when? Well the next available wasn't until a few weeks as they were swamped! (Understandably)... Desperate... I asked if anyone was willing to come out the same day I would appreciate it and try to compensate. The woman who took my call was completely understanding and took the initiative (which I love!! Because I find this to be rare) and said she would check for me. She called me back within minutes and Komma (I hope I spelled his name right), was at my house by 4pm! He fixed the window in no time at all, was super sweet, polite, and professional! Why put "Staff wears masks" on your profile when you clearly don't? I waited a week after I called for the guy to come out and look at my shower door. On the morning of he arrives over 30 minutes late with no apology. He walks in with no mask, but okay I guess (even though we are in the middle of the Omicron wave). Not only no mask but he also has obvious pink eye in his right eye yuck... As he's leaving he asks for my email and of course I never hear from him again. We have used them several times over the years for whole house and rental window replacements, shower doors and glass cabinets. Recommended others use them as well. Made an appointment and the guy was so late I didn't think he was coming. Finally came so I ordered a slider. They came to install it but the screen door latch wasn't quite right and needed a screw. I've emailed twice since I never heard back. It's been several weeks since I last heard and they apparently expect the customer to do all the reminding. I'm done. This is a long overdue review. I am a contractor, and was hoping to use this company for years to come, but after a couple issues on a job they did for me, I would never use them again. It took two weeks for someone to call back after calling the office several times, and then two weeks for them to come out and fix part of the issue, all the while leaving me to deal with the customer on the other issue, and still having money held back on me for it. I wouldn't use this company if they were the last ones on earth. Nice people, but horrible customer service if an issue arises. read more

I guess Sam was out for medical reasons when I called. He said that when he found out about the call and my review, he had no idea there had been a problem. Sam called and left me multiple messages. He even wrote to me to make amends. Finally, he came out and took a look at the door. I guess it was a super easy fix. He replaced the part and even gave me a new one. Still, even he said, it shouldn't have broken so fast. He told me it should have lasted at least a year, not two months. Given that information, I'm of the opinion that the door might have been installed improperly. However, I guess we'll see in the next few months (depending on whether or not the new piece goes bad as well). read more

Ordered some glass for some projects, they all came out perfect. I had some large sheets of tempered glass also, and every employee that talked to me made sure I knew that the tempered glass needed to be handled with care because they could "pop" if they hit the street. I called Bodies after reading the Yelp! reviews to get the broken glass on a Jersey Shadow Box replaced. They were friendly and assured me they could do it within a day for only $30. I dropped it off and return to pick it up a week later. They had not touched it. I was in no rush so left it with them after reassuring me it would be done in a couple of days. I came back a week later and wouldn't you know it?! They had the glass replaced, but my frame was broken, cracked and chipped.... but wait, they said they wouldn't charge me for the glass. Thanks a lot. I took it to a framing shop and it's not repairable. So my $30 glass that so kindly was done for free is costing me $500. I contacted Bodies once again. They are now working with me. I will update this review once I get a resolution. read more

I gave a deposit and was told I would get a receipt for it that I haven't seen but could've went into spam but will keep posted as to how the install goes So install went smooth, the guys were on time and friendly.
