My wife's family has been using Save-on Glass & Screen for years. When it came to repairing our screens, I had been looking at a local hardware store to do the repair. My brother-in-law told me about this place and that they've been around since the 70's. He had recently had a few screens repaired and the workmanship looked awesome. This morning, I decided to give them a try. Sure glad I did. The quality of the work was great, the price was very competitive and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be bringing all our screens here in the future and recommending to friends and family. read more

Great price, great work for screen repair. My father started using them over 30 years ago and we still use them to this day. We live on the beach and our screens and frames eventually disintegrate because of the salt air. We bring them in. We drop them off. We pick them up a few days later! Always a job well done! read more

What an awesome and amazing company. From start to finish, they kept me up to date on the process of windows, gave me recommendations on my bay window and so glad I went with their idea instead of mine. The quality and price is right on. They replaced all my windows in my 1940 home. Went from a single pain crank window to beautiful new vinyl windows. Improved the look of my home and the heating cost went down. Thank you read more

Overall, had a great experience with the owner Jeremy, Eddie and Coty. Jeremy took the time to educate and explain how the glass is removed and replaced. For the windows we brought to the shop, once the replacement glass arrived, it took them less than an hour to be ready for pick up. For the sliding glass door and kitchen window that had to be onsite, it took Eddie & Coty less than 2 hrs. Its their attention to detail and willingness to do the little things to make customers happy really made an impression. We truly are grateful to them and will be using them again in the future. read more

I had holes in my screen door that would prevent using it during the summer. Savon Glass took it back on their truck, fixed it at their shop and had it back installed in a jiffy for a very reasonable price. Business has a very good reputation in the West Garden Grove and Seal Beach area. read more

Our place suffered another water intrusion this year with the heavy rains. We called these guys to come take a look at the window in the kitchen. They found now leaks but it looks like the stucco has a hole where the water could get in. Thanks for coming out Eddie and for your knowledge and professionalism! If you get to talk with Alissa she is great too! Thanks Sav-On, hopefully we survive next years flood. read more

Window broke in our guest bedroom. Jeremy was very professional on the phone and scheduled an appointment same day for a measurement. Special ordered a window and Jeremy was up front with costs and timeframe. After they received the window, Roy handled the install. He called me to give me an accurate arrival time. The window was installed within the quoted time frame. Roy cleaned up after himself and I'm thrilled with the replacement. Will definitely be using them for more window replacements. read more

Broken windows do happen, especially when my windows are across from the school yard, a few feet away from the basketball hoops. As soon as this happened, I asked my HOA property manager for some referrals. I called those numbers to get an estimate, but none was hired to do the job. My wife called a couple Vietnamese glass repairmen from Nguoi Viet Online. One came over so fast that she didn't have time to change. He said $150, and proceeded to hammer away the window frame. My wife asked if all that was necessary when broken glass was flying. He said that there is no other way, and he had been doing this since the 1980's. He was fired before he was hired. The second repairman came the next day. He gave her an estimate over the phone $150. She agreed & he came over. When he arrived he asked for $75 more to glue the plastic strips after the glass is replaced. My wife sent him packing too. So, the first guy was careless, rude, sloppy & unprofessional. The second guy was simply a crook & unsure of himself if he was able to do the job. My wife often stopped by Xôi Hoàng Huong on Westminster Blvd to buy coffee or xôi whenever she was rushed to work. She noticed the SAVE-ON GLASS & SCREEN next door looked busy. She asked me to measure the window & ask Mark for an estimate. So, I did as she asked. Mark gave me a written estimate on the spot. He said that he would send a technician over within 15 minutes. Roy, the technician came within 15 minutes. He removed the broken window without a single piece of broken glass comes loose. He took the window down to his service truck & replaced the glass. The job was done within 35 minutes. I was impressed & my wife called to remind me to tip Roy if the job was done right & professionally. Here are some pictures before, after, and costs to fix. read more

My son broke my neighbors bathroom window playing catch so I called a few places for quotes and Mark was so nice and easy to work with. I pre warned them about her and they made sure to get the job done! Jeremy was also really cool and helpful too read more

I can't say enough positive things about this company. Over the phone they gave me multiple quotes to give me an idea of what it would cost me for my small bathroom project. I didn't realize there are so many options to choose from and they explained each one so I could understand. Ultimately I ended up with a single 1/2" panel to give my bathroom the most modern look. The owner himself came out to measure and talk to me and came on my schedule. The 2nd final measurement was on time too. The installation guys also came on time, covered everything to make sure no mess was left behind and they did a great job on the install. There's no way I could of done this myself as it took 2 huge football player looking guys to lift this glass and it seemed to wear them out. Final product is flawless and I couldn't be happier. Customer service was an A+ for sure. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

We had debated putting in a new mirror in our bathroom for far too long. We received a referral for Save-On Glass & Screen from a friend. The experience was excellent from start to finish. We called and was given 14 day lead time for instillation. While they apologized profusely for the lead time, we did not feel it was too long and happily agreed. The quote was also very competitive. Our installer, Roy, was on time and very knowledgeable. He came prepared with all the necessary tools and supplies needed for instillation. He left the work area spotlessly clean and was in and out in no time. We wholeheartedly recommend Save-On Glass & Screen for your glass and screen needs at your home or business. read more

I have two normal glasses, which cover my nightstands. They need to be cut shorter by 2 inches and the edges need to be made unsharp. Because the saleslady of a glass shop near me explained it to me very complicated and wanted to charge $40 and her shop needs "two hours" for doing that easy work! I called Save-On and reached Jamie and his shop did it for only $10 within 5 minutes! I highly recommend this friendly shop with reasonable prices. read more

So refreshing to find a helpful, knowledgable and friendly family-run place like this. I've been here a few times, and each time they were able to cut glass on the spot. I needed hard-to-find louver glass for 1930s era windows and they had it in stock, ready to cut to my dimensions. Prices are reasonable, and they are just nice folks. Their business is in a small strip of businesses, just 2 blks west of Beach. Plenty of in-lot parking. read more

Professional, friendly, fast work, good prices. I'm so happy I found this place. I took some screens in to be replaced and they were ready the next day. We used Save On Glass because they were the least expensive of the glass companies and also provide a glass protection coating warranty. 1st. They gave us a quote for $1329.37, we put down $500 in good faith monies for the work to begin. After the work was completed, they said they made a mistake and the new price was $1445.04. 2nd. We were told at the time we made the deposit, the installation would be on Friday of the next week. Not true, the Tuesday of the next following week the installation began. My boss was very happy with taking multiple days off. 3rd. They do not install their own product, the enclosure was installed by a sublet company who subsequently damaged the shower. We had to wait a few more days for another piece of glass. 4th. The sublet company installed the damaged panel after a few days. I asked them about the coating, the installers were unaware of the coating and was not on the paperwork. I had to call Save On, they scheduled the coating to be installed later that day. 5th. I read about the glass coating warranty after they gave me the info, you have to squeegee the shower enclosure every time you shower and dry off the hardware. I asked Margaret when we paid the balance why they sold us this product if we had the dry the shower after every use, Margaret said "I do not know". Great answer! $225.00 for this special coating and she has not idea why they sold it to us. read more
