My sister went on Sunday to use her gift certificate but they were closed so she went to the sister restaurant. When it came time to pay, they said normally they would or could take the gift certificate but because they were closed, no way to verify!

My friend and I had no idea where to go for dinner, so we meet the Yelpers assist, and they did not disappoint! This place is AMAZING! Staff are local and friendly and got can tell they are running as fast as they can to keep up with the attention the delicious food is creating. Lovely people, so be sure to give them credit as well. We had the Fish and Chips (battered in the local Metalman craft beer) and the baked smoked haddock and the food was to die for!! A 1/3 carafffe of wine gives you two glasses of wine and while you can go for an early bird special, I would simply recommend that you come here on an off-day (Monday - Wednesday) and fully enjoy the lovely menu.

Went to Bodega for lunch and it was an event. Amazing food and friendly staff. I will return on my next visit to Waterford. I ate with the family and we had the cod special, fresh pasta with prawns and mussels, Irish grass-fed steak, and a beautiful burger. All excellent.

Very delicious and had real whiskey sours made with egg white! Reasonably priced but can get quite busy.

Best food in Ireland so far! The Brill was so good. The blaa Waterford bread was wonderful too! Great wine, nice atmosphere and being with family was the best! Worth the trip, a definite must stop!

Nice food, great service. I came here late one evening because it was the first place I saw that served food so late. It was wonderful.

First night I had a seafood combo: the seafood chowder, and the baked John Dory special with mash, fennels and potatoes. The seafood chowder had rich and velvety texture, great flavor profile, and generous portions of assorted seafood. All tasted fresh with bouncy texture, but some of the mussels could use a bit more cleaning. Baked John Dory was a great dish. The fillet was baked to perfection, with briny and refreshing taste, spot-on moisture, and silky mouthfeel. The mash and the potatoes were great addition to the dish. My only wish was to replace the fennels with something more refreshing and less dry. Second night I had the roast beef. Portion size was HUGE for the price. Taste was good, very moist beef with rich gravy. Wish they could have seasoned the vegetables a bit more. Overall, a good restaurant, reasonably priced, convenient for hotel residents. Also the bar was not bad with a nice range of spirits line up.

The soup of the day was supposed to be a beef soup, but it was more creamy rather than a broth, and had no resemblance to beef. It was still good, but I couldn't decipher the ingredients. I had the Supreme Chicken, which was tasty, but I wasn't a fan of the sausage slice that came with it. It just didn't seem to go with the rest of the dish. I could have used more gravy because the chicken was a bit dry. Since we were a large group on the excursion, I didn't ask for more since the servers were very busy. For dessert, we had crumble cake served with crème anglaise & vanilla ice cream. In my opinion, it was very dry, despite the ice cream.
