I would like to publicly thank "Manager-Mike" for helping me today…read more I brought in a corded item to be repaired. The plug-in had detached from the cord, and the little wires were visible. Mike quickly spliced it and reconnected the plug-in. He did not charge me. I was so impressed and thankful! My wife suggested I give Long Brothers a call when everyone else in town hadn't heard of a product…read morewe needed to source. The guy who answered, Bill, couldn't have been more helpful. Had to stop what I'm doing to leave a review--that helpful. Not a contractor, so he had to listen to me describe a part poorly. He deciphered what I meant, and even went so far as to research a photo a contractor sent me of what we needed. Although everyone we spoke with earlier was also unfamiliar with the item, Bill took the time to understand the project and why we may have been told to source this item. Then, he did what he could to locate and refer us to someone who may have it. Absolutely excellent customer service, gained some customers!

Lots of cute trinkets, ornaments, home décor and gift items for that special someone in your life that starts putting up Christmas decorations in September (or never takes them down all year long)! My wife picked out a cute pair of earrings, and a little silver bell shaped like a gnome, for good luck. It seemed to work pretty well in our favor, holding off the worst of the bad weather for the rest of our stay in Mount Angel! For a seasonal curmudgeon (such as myself), that insists that all holidays be celebrated in their due time (and not a single day early!), even I had to admit that I got the warm fuzzies while browsing the shelves and displays here, despite it being several months until the acceptable start date of the Christmas season (the day after Thanksgiving, FYI). Only the Grinchiest of Grinches won't find something worth smiling over here.
