I was booked three weeks ago with whom I was told was a "color specialist". I arrived for my appointment and was not greeted warmly or even friendly. The stylist insulted me the entire time. She was texting another client to come in as she was supposed to be doing my hair. She dropped my scrunchie on the floor and as I asked for it to leave bc I was beyond disgusted by this girl her response as she laughed was "I didn't even touch it". It literally took everything I had in me to bite my tongue and hold my rage back. I will never steo foot in that overpriced shithole again. I believe her name was Carly and she needs a reality check and a course on customer service. Thanks to the owner tho for directing me to shear beauty down the street. read more

Small salon we went to for wedding prep. They had 3 people doing hair and 1-2 makeup artists, which was plenty for the 9 of us. Everyone worked quickly, and Amanda does amazing hair and lashes. We weren't thrilled with the main makeup artist, but Jamie and Daryl did beautiful, natural-looking makeup. They offered to redo and correct anything we were unhappy with. They could have done a little something special for the bride like had coffee or something, but not sure if that's cultural (I'm Italian from Long Island). I had my hair done here because my usual salon has not yet re-opened. I admit that it must be hard to figure out what a new client wants, but the young woman did not ask many questions, and, apparently, I didn't make myself clear when I said I just wanted to tidy up the ends. So now I have a short cut that I don't like and that doesn't follow the natural waves in my hair. To add insult to injury, she didn't use any conditioner when she washed my hair, nor did she use any sort of product after the blow-dry, so my hair feels awful. Also, the staff was casual about wearing their masks below their noses; no one was taking temperatures or offering hand sanitizer, and there were a lot of magazines and other stuff scattered around. Not a professional appearance! I can't wait for my usual salon to re-open! read more

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Hair Salon's in general. Anyone who looks at my hair could probably guess! But they stress me out: usually the people there seem very judgmental and unfriendly. The ladies here, however, seemed nice. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but I showed some pictures and they seemed to get the point. I was getting my hair done for my wedding and it came out lovely! They weren't pushy and didn't try to sell me a bunch of products I couldn't use. The worst part of the wait - it was about 45 minutes later than my appointment time to even get seated. Thankfully I had a pretty early appointment so it didn't mess up my other wedding day plans - but that easily could have had I made my appointment any closer to the time of the wedding! But consider how important your wedding day is and how easily things can go awry- that's dangerous ground to walk on. read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else. The girls are the best. Everyone is well trained. They help each other out. They listen. I've never been disappointed. AWESOME place and I recommend everyone who is looking for a wonderful experience to go to Boccaccio's. read more

I have been looking for years and years for a good hair stylist. Karlee at Boccaccio's is the absolute best. I have never had a set hair stylist until now! She's now the only person I let do my hair, so I highly recommend coming to Boccaccio's for any of your hairstyle needs! They are also super welcoming and very nice:) read more

LOVE it here Daryl is amazing- she does magic. You can tell how talented she is by the way she cuts hair- with such confidence. And when she waxes my eyebrows, it doesn't hurt! Not a bit! And it doesn't make me eyes all red and soar. Love her. She's not phony- very real- And I totally trust her with my hair! read more

This was my time coming to Boccaccio's. The other two times I had a great experience. This time I had someone who did not listen to what I wanted and did not really look at the photo I showed her of the color and highlight I wanted. It was the worst hair color I ever had in my life. Left in tears and it cost me over 100.00 for that. I will never step foot in this place ever again!! read more

I don't like not giving five stars. I'm giving one star because of free parking... Unprofessional staff, in experience with bridal party up do's??? Not even water was available to drink.. It was my best friends wedding and afterwards we all just laughed at our hair and makeup. I'm sorry but it was hideous. read more
