Wow! Absolutely blown away by this place. I was looking for a nice place for dinner in Prince Edward County and was struggling to choose between Bocado and another popular local steak place. I chose Bocado after seeing a review that said Bocado rivals even the best Spanish restaurants in downtown Toronto. Quite frankly, after trying it out for myself, I feel exactly the same way. The food was incredible. Every single dish we ordered blew us away. The service was exceptional as well. Professional, polite, attentive. I had to inquire how Bocado came to be so exquisite being in a rather small town. From what I gathered from the server the chef has in fact a great deal of experience and has worked in a popular Spanish restaurant group in Toronto. Having eaten at restaurants from that group in downtown Toronto, I wouldn't be lying if I said that I think Bocado took that experience and made it even better. If you are in town and want to go out for a nice meal. Stop searching now, you've found the best spot in town. An added bonus is that it is located right in the center of the town, so you can walk around and appreciate the stores nearby as well to soak in the full Price Edward County vibe.

Delightful atmosphere, great tasting food, and amazing staff. The quality of food was great from the appetizers to the main star, the Paella. Was recommended to order 4-6 small tapas, one large, and a paella which ended up being a lot of food. A solid menu overall. For starters, we got the 3 kinds of meat charcuterie, Atun, croquettes, cauliflower, and galacian octopus. They all tasted amazing with the highlights being the perfectly tender octopus and the creamy croquettes. The cauliflower had a perfect char which paired well with the sauce and the atun was a high quality tuna. The paella came out to be slightly on the sweater side which went well with the duck, tho we did wish there was more duck to match the price point of the dish. The churro however was massively disappointing, it was very showy but not the greatest. It was too thin thus making it taste slightly overcooked and too crsipy rather than fluffy. The dark chocolate sauce however was perfectly rich and not too sweet.

This tapas place was highly recommended by all the locals and tourists alike. We made a dinner reservation for Wednesday night, which is one of the quieter days of the week. We had a prime spot in the front of the restaurant, which had a lovely ambience. Food wise, we ordered a selection of tapas for two people, including the atun, coliflor and fifth town skipping stone. The sauce on the atun was delicious (definitely a heavy cilantro taste). All great dishes with lots of flavour and variety. For dessert, we had the churro and sourdough ice cream. We had inquired about the sourdough ice cream to our server and they recommended it as a delicious option. Yet, we could not taste the full sourdough flavour, then found out from our server that they had never tried it. Definitely reserve in advance if you can, as this place fills up fast! Great for sharing tapas with a few friends.

Went to dinner during a winery weekend with the girls and decided to treat ourselves. Our fave were these stuffed dates called Dátiles. Everything was delicious and full of Flavour. The price is on the HIGHER end but between 4ppl we didn't pay a crazy amount.

Tasty tapas in PEC! One of my favourite meals while visiting. I'd say the quality and flavours were on par with Bar Raval and Isabel in Toronto. We ordered Ensalada de Romana, Straciatella, Pan con Anchovy, Jamon Serrano, Croquetas de Bellota, Conchinillo, and Churros. All were super yummy, fresh and flavourful. Highly recommend!

Always amazing! Service and food is one of the best in the area. If unsure of what to choose, ask the staff and they are happy to guide you.

The host seated us on the uncovered patio because the covered patio was reserved for guests without dogs. It did start to rain and the host came over to give us a table in the covered patio. Our chorkie is very well behaved and quiet. We ordered 2 lobster rolls one with house salad and the other with fries. The food did not disappoint. There's a decent amount of lobster loaded on a buttered po'boy. We really enjoyed the lobster rolls and would definitely order it again. The house salad was fresh and delicious. The fries were fresh cut and crispy. The server was very friendly and also brought a bowl of water for my chorkie. The service here is top notch and I would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. We just missed out on their brunch menu which also had some tasty options. If you like small town hospitality along with quality food then mark this place on your bucket list. Thank you for having us on our 12th year wedding anniversary. You made our visit more memorable.

When my wife and I were going to be making a random stop in Belleville for a couple nights, I did…read moremy thing and looked up what to do and eat while in town. I'm from an even smaller town, so I'm used to short lists for those things, but I was glad when I randomly came across The Lark. It wasn't on one of the review sites or a travel blog, but just simply perusing the downtown landscape on Google Maps. Their space on Bridge Street is airy and spacious, but the small footprint keeps things intimate, with a stunning bar that beckons to slake your thirst. Although the restaurant's name isn't on-the-nose Italian, the menu is very much so. With a handful each of primi, secondi and dolci, chances are that you won't suffer from choice paralysis while ordering, but what they have is nonetheless quite enticing. Burrata is always an easy choice, especially at a restaurant like The Lark where you know you're going to get good quality cheese and accoutrements. They didn't disappoint! The milky, semi-solid cheese paired well with tender hunks of sweet butternut squash and the crisp savouriness of fried sage. Pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts brought some sweetness and crunch, while house-made sourdough was good enough to be eaten on its own. For my main, I went with the beef cheek pappardelle. The succulent shreds of cheek took the place of ground beef in the rich Bolognese, and my taste buds were all the better for it. The fresh pappardelle was luxuriously tender, with its delicate folds sopping up all that delicious sauce. Rounded out with parm and basil, it shows that you don't have to recreate the wheel to make an excellent dish. My wife's brown butter gnocchi was no slouch either, with a decadent cream sauce, and nice hint of char to the lovely and light pasta pillows. Not to be beaten, the apple cobbler was absolutely amazing. Definitely sized for two, but no judgment if you solo it, every part was fall dessert perfection. Service was wonderfully knowledgeable on the food and drink side, as well as friendly and easygoing. I was getting strong owner-vibes, but I'm too lazy to do the amount of Googling required for a confirm. The Lark is getting done dirty by the algorithm on the major review sites and if they won't loudly announce their possession of the title as "best restaurant in Belleville", I sure will.

I've gone back again since my first time visiting to try a few more things. The Beef Cheek Pappardelle was my overall favourite, but the Beef short rib was a close second. It's a cute little spot in downtown Belleville with a nice ambience. There's lots of street parking available nearby or there's a big lot that's very walkable. Service was great, we even got the bartenders choice for the drinks and it was really well done. If you're ever in the Belleville area and are looking for a spot to have dinner, this is definitely the place.

Hubby and I stopped here upon first arriving in Prince Edward County this past weekend. The inside of the restaurant was not busy. They have a large patio with views of the harbour, and this seemed to be the more popular seating option. Our server Kendra was upbeat, friendly, and welcoming. She took our orders right away. The menu offers a variety of delicious sounding food options, including chicken wings, mussels, fish and chips, and pan seared fish. The white wine steamed mussels ($18) were plentiful and served with pieces of crusty bread to help sop up the broth. My pan seared pickerel ($18) tasted very fresh and was perfectly cooked. It was served in a butter sauce with grilled asparagus and zucchini. The prices here are reasonable with most food items coming to less than $25. They have a number of great local wine and cider options. I would definitely recommend dining at this lovely restaurant if you're in the county.
