Food was good and the boca banana pie was great. I could tell that it was made from scratch not store bought.

I love the Delray Green Market & Silverball Retro Arcade & Lady Atlantic Yacht Cruises. Atlantic Avenue is a bustling walkable main strip going east west from the beach across the intercostal bridge ending in the Delray Market Place. The street & market are packed with galleries, boutiques, and outdoor dining that is perfect for people watching. The Delray Beach Amphitheatre at Old School Square present concerts, the Delray Affair, a Christmas tree & program ... Sandoway Discovery Center, Veterans Park & Anchor Park are a happening. The Delray Tennis Center hosts professional tennis tournaments on Atlantic Ave. The Pineapple Grove Arts District offers public art and galleries. Nearby, Cornell Art Museum displays contemporary works. The Arts Garage & Delra The lakeside Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens has an amazing gift shop, restaurant, with tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops and serene outdoor spaces. Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a park featuring a raised boardwalk with views of birds, turtles and alligators. There are too many restaurants & shops to list; in Delray Beach. The Opal Grand, Aloft, Hyatt, The Ray, the Seagate, the historic Colony Hotel, Courtyard, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn ... are just some of the hotels in Delray.

A great public beach for a big group. We were in town for my friend's bachelorette party and…read moreaccidentally left our Airbnb too late on Saturday. It took forever for us to find parking, so we ended up doing valet near this beach. I was sunburnt from the day before so was on a quest to find an umbrella to rent. Thankfully, Oceanside rentals came in clutch with a $32 umbrella only all day rental. We liked this beach a lot because of the calm water. We also appreciated that there was less seaweed and calmer water than Boynton Beach's Ocean Front Beach Park. The surrounding green was gorgeous. Where we entered there was a giant pipe though that smelled a little like cigars, but we sat far enough away for it not too bother us too much. If you don't mind walking a bit for parking, this beach is a great pick.
