Gorgeous beach! The grass and shaded area is such a great idea and place to relax. Make sure you don't back into your parking spot, as it's forbidden but not clearly marked. The pier offers great views of the area.

Deerfield Beach is hopping on the weekends and parking is not bad at $4.00 an hour in the public garage. The beach is absolutely beautiful with a blue ocean filled with boats and a wide boardwalk lined with overpriced condos and patio eateries. There was a Blues and Brews festival going on today and had my share of craft beer from an array of beer companies. Pubic bathrooms were also open next to the Deerfield Fire Department. Great time in the 90 degree plus weather.

I visited Deerfield Beach today for the first time for the Ocean Brews and Blues beer fest, and it was awesome! Besides the sizzling 97 degree temp, it was a great event along side the beach, where at times you did catch the cool ocean breeze. Although we didn't get to go onto the boardwalk over the water, or into the ocean itself, it was still great. The beach does have a couple restroom facilities that I saw, and used, I was quite surprised that it was clean, for the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area, but keep in mind the wait time at most of the restaurants do have a hefty wait time. There is a 5 level public parking garage, which is a 5min's walk to the beach, it's $4 per hour, not too bad and your car is under the shade while you wonder around. I'll definitely make a visit again soon, for the beach itself next time.

Beautiful view of some random buildings

Everytime I come to Boca I come to this beach because it is small in comparison to Miami Beach. I enjoy it very much and was excited to finally come to Boca raton and see that the pier was available. Come to find out that they will charge you to access the pier? What a load of BS. You're telling me we have to park at a meter and pay 10 for 2 hours and pay what 10 dollars for a family of 5 just to access the pier? What a load of shit. At that point charge us to enter the water while you're at it too won't you. The ocean is for everyone and you guys hogging it for 2 dollars a person should have never been a thing. I mean it's fitting since your business is probably failing. Yall had to find a way to make money somehow. Well congratulations yall found it

Had family in town and all they wanted to do was go to the beach, and of course, it rained everyday this week. Finally, the weather app showed a day of sunshine, so we raced down to try and take advantage. Deerfield Beach is open to the public. It is a nice, clean, white sand beach, it's family friendly, and it's just a perfect place to relax and chill. The Public beach starts at A1A and Hillsboro Blvd. Parking can be a nightmare. There are pay spots and lots along Ocean Blvd, be advised they do fill up quickly. There is a 5 story parking garage on A1A above the old Bru's Room, across from Island Water Sports. All parking is hourly and if you are lucky to find an outdoor lot, make sure you watch your parking app and add time if needed. Deerfield police are waiting and willing to write that $30 parking ticket. Beaches can be crowded, but always lively. Some nice restaurants directly face the beach and on weekends and late afternoons there can be live music. Plenty of beach volleyball and if there's some wind, you can catch the surfers by the pier. Nice walks along the ocean and it's South Florida, so 90% of the time the ocean is warm. There's a $2 charge to walk the pier and if you want to fish, you can rent a rod and bait for the whole day for around $20.

Nice beach. At least compared to the ones in Jacksonville. All of the spots in the surrounding area is paid parking. We paid $2.20 for 30 minutes, or something like that. Beautiful water.. Unlike that turd brown we have in Jacksonville lol... The lifeguards will whistle if you go out too far in the water. I noticed there's a restroom in the vicinity and plenty of shower stations along the sidewalk near the main road. We were here on a Sunday and there was parking within a block, or two away.

This beach was great. Pay by phone parking. We went later in the day and it wanted to see the sunset. Close To the lighthouse. Water was so clear. Loved it.

Deerfield Beach is one of the nicest beaches in Florida period! The vibe here is really laid back and friendly.

Deerfield beach provides the tourist a more relaxed place to hang by the beach...the restaurants and shops have a more Mom and Pop feel and they tend to be cozier than the busy ones a few miles south. I love driving around and stopping to get this small village feel from time to time.....less people, less crowded, equally charming. The city's award-winning "Blue Wave" beach earned that designation from the Clean Beach Council, based on Deerfield Beach's excellent water quality, beach conditions, safety services, public information and habitat conservation policies. Deerfield Beach is home to Quiet Waters Park, a bit inland from the beach scene, which features campgrounds, fishing, a skate park and the longest "cable ski" courses in the nation. A hybrid of surfing, skiing and wakeboarding, cable skiing is rapidly growing in popularity, and you can try it at the park's 2,700-foot oval course.

This is one of my favorite beaches. I love spending time here. It's peaceful, clean, the waves always seem to be perfect. It's a great place to park and get out and walk up and down the sidewalk. The views of the water and the many apartment complexes, hotels, and restaurants around make it truly enjoyable. If you cannot find a parking spot, circle around a couple of times and I'm pretty sure you'll find one. Make sure to pay the parking meter so you won't run the risk of getting a ticket. They are all over, you won't miss them. I love walking the boardwalk and looking out into the ocean. It's never crowded and the benches make it a nice place to stop, rest and take it all in. It's also a great place to pull out the camera and take pictures of the views or yourself. A quick selfie on the boardwalk that you can share with friends is always a nice touch. Or, post on Yelp. Pictures tell a story we can't with our words, they're timeless. And if you don't want to get out of your car, park and enjoy people watching. It's something I love to do. You'd be surprised at how much time goes by while enjoying the scenery. The beach bathrooms are clean and sanitized, making sure they follow protocols for keeping us safe.

Even after the rain it's beautiful here

Deerfield Beach offers them best of south Florida on a small scale. The boardwalk and pier are great for just having a low key stroll or for taking pictures. There are some great restaurants all within walking distance. Parking isn't expensive (under $5/hr on weekends), and local residents can purchase a yearly parking pass for under $80. What I love about this spot is that it is very calm and family friendly. Everything is clean and safe.

One of my favorite beaches!! Long stretch of beach, has a dock - although you have to pay to walk on it and you can fish off of it as well at a cost. Plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. Or picnic areas are available.

This is a queen, beautiful beach that has some great hotels and possibly even greater restaurants and bars. It is a great place for a quick getaway or perhaps an even longer stay. I enjoyed my time here, even though it was only for a quick overnight trip. I would definitely return here in a heartbeat and recommend that you come check it out.

Hillsboro Beach is a tiny Florida coastal town set on a peninsula between the Intracoastal and the…read moreAtlantic Ocean. Interestingly it has a connection to English nobility. The town was named after the Earl of Hillsborough, who was given land in Florida from the King of England after the First Treaty of Paris was signed where England gave up Cuba and the Philippines to Spain in exchange for receiving Florida. Hillsboro also has a rich history with the Barefoot Mailmen. The Barefoot Mailmen were eleven US postal workers who delivered the mail in South Florida from 1885 to 1893 by walking barefoot on the beach from Palm Beach to Miami. Before the mailman started the route, a letter from Lake Worth to Miami could take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months to arrive and would be routed through Cuba. The annual salary of a Barefoot Mailman was $600 a year. The trip started on Monday and took three days to get to Miami, Then they would turn around and come back for a round trip of 136 miles. Eighty miles were walking and fifty six miles were by boat. The three day trek down the coast was not without it's danger. You can find a Barefoot Mailman statue in front of the Hillsboro town hall dedicated to James "Ed" Hamilton who mysteriously vanished in 1897 while crossing the Hillsboro Inlet. The mystery of what happened to Hamilton is fascinating. Was he eaten by an alligator, killed by native people, or did he drown? No one will ever know. Although Hillsboro Beach is small in size at only a little over three miles and 900 miles at its widest point, it has a lot of charm. The only road through town is A1A and here it is nicknamed Millionaire's Mile for the mansions that line it. The most prominent feature of the town is the 1907 Hillsboro Lighthouse which you can tour monthly with the Lighthouse Preservation Society. The beaches in town are all private. You can go to North Ocean Beach Park in Pompano Beach to the south or Deerfield Beach Park to the north. Hillsboro Inlet Park is a nice place to picnic and get a great view of the lighthouse. I always enjoy driving through this stretch of A1A when heading up the coast.

We met Dominic at the Pioneer Park- boat ramps in Deerfield Beach. Please note that this location is different than the address on the Yelp review since we were a bit confused ourselves. We started off slow getting used to the jet skis and also admiring the beautiful homes on the intercoastal.
