I feel like I was dealing with a scam artist. He brought a zip lock bag filled with black colored…read morefiber and stuffed it into the cavity inside the gas dryer and took a photo with his smart phone. Next, he said "come here, look at this" and showed us the photo displayed on his smart phone. He also presented the ziplock and said "this is what I pulled out of your dryer." Honestly, I knew right away it wasn't the same lint from our dryer, but I said nothing. My dryer roller and belt worked smoothly before he arrived. Yet, he insisted they needed replacement. He reassembled the dryer and after he left, we realized the vibrating dryer. He returned to correct the problem and said he needed to adjust the bearings. Whatever he did it didn't last. A month later we're stuck with a rattling noise while the dryer drum goes around. Of course, they want more money to return for this problem. They only guarantee labor for 30 days. It's been about 6 weeks since that last visit. His repair work was poor and they want more money from us to repair the problems he created. I would not recommend Certified Appliance to anyone. I pulled the cover off yesterday and noticed scorch marks on the inside back of the cabinet above the gas line. He did not alert us to this. Our original repair request was because we had smoke coming from the dryer. This dryer should have red tagged as unsafe for use. He replaced the burner dial unit on our gas stove, which took him 5 minutes, and didnt bother to clean the pilot light which is clogged and doesn't work. All this for $804. Don't walk away, run!

We have a new all-in-one washer/dryer that was leaking soon after delivery (or the leak was…read morenoticed). Too late to return so GE set up a repair call under warranty with Appliance Tec. I sent specific information on the machine and the problem. This is a newer model machine as well. The first tech that was sent over told me that he didn't work on these machines and kind of stood around and then gave up. This was not impressive. However, a different tech came the following day (Andres). And, he was able to take the machine apart and find the origin of the leak. The replacement parts were ordered. And, I was happy to see Andres a few weeks later with the replacement parts. He showed us the problem (a hole and crack in the detergent dispenser ... On a new machine) and replaced it in about an hour and a half. We were the 10th appointment of the day according to the appointment tracker. And he was still efficient and polite. So, while it was a rough start. I'm happy to say it got better!
