Problems started right away: unsealed nail heads and jagged shingle edges hanging over the eaves. Bill came out to fix those, though I had to withhold final payment to get it done. Two years later, we found water coming up through a floorboard in a bedroom. The cause: the chimney was never flashed properly and the shingles around it were poorly installed. Water had been pooling and running down inside our wall for two years. It took a stretch of heavy storms before enough water reached the carpet for us to feel it underfoot. I called Bill. He said he was too busy with roofing jobs to come out, and that despite my 5-year guarantee, this wasn't covered under warranty. The roofer I hired instead was taken aback by what he found -- not just the chimney, but crooked shingle lines, more unsealed nails, and missing flashing in other spots. That company is just as busy this time of year and still managed to show up and fix it.

Levi called me back within minutes. He ended up talking with me for a good 15-20 minutes explaining everything about his company and what they do, how they charge, and the whole nine yards. After that conversation, I was confident that I wanted to go with Levi. He sent me the proposal/estimate the following morning. I was so impressed with everything at that point, I signed & sent back the agreement form right away. Levi then called me later in the day and scheduled our roofing to be done in the next 2 days. That had to be cancelled the day of installation (due to rain) and it was immediately rescheduled for the day after. All in all, our roof is absolutely beautiful. Service was outstanding. The few times I called Levi's cell phone, he answered instantly greeting me by name. He really made me feel like he appreciated our business. When I first…read morecontacted High Point, the owner, Angelo, spoke to me directly and scheduled time to come to our home. He brought a ton of samples of different materials, recommendations for different types of materials under there shingles and brought pages and pages of references of happy customers. We have a very high pitch roof and the work he did was simply amazing. We have a new house from the gutter to the ridge. His team even took time to paint our vents to match the roof color. This is an example of the attention to detail that Angelo and his crews take pride in doing for their customers. The entire job took a day and a half to complete and there wasn't a piece of garbage, shingles, nails (you name it) on the ground. They protected my landscape, my windows, my doors and anything that could potentially be damaged by removing shingles. Angelo also met with my contractor who was doing some work with me in my backyard to ensure that our roof was protected from ice dams in the winter, etc. He has that kind of foresight and will stand behind his work.
