I've been going to Bob's Pizza and Subs for years. Since the son bought his father's business, it's gone downhill. Yesterday's veggie sub which always had flavorful bread, had no bread flavor. A sign said prices have gone up as of Feb. 2, and though they had a whole month to price items correctly with the update, all they did was cover over all the prices. I was shocked that my usual $5.80 veggie sub ended up at nearly $9. I told them I wouldn't be back. read more

I've been eating subs (hoagies to the lay person) a long time. Everything from dibruno's to slacks to Wawa to kotch's. I've even had some jersey mike's and Capriotti's. Bob's subs are delicious. They're gut busting and made with expert care. Honestly. Pounds of meat on these sandwiches. And we save the leftover dressing. It's that good. To the late food/cold food/wrong food critics - if you think it's so easy to run a mom and pop food establishment - in the middle of a pandemic when to go ordering is through the roof and you're short staffed - please go ahead and try. This place was alright - nothing to brag about. I probably will not return because I can find better. The picture I provide makes the sandwich look really good right? But the problem with it is they put most of the meat and stuff in the center of the sandwich, leaving the ends of the sandwich bread only. Not enjoyable. I was taken back by one of the girls working. She was rude and had an attitude. She made me feel that I interrupted her evening and caused her to work. One guy named Matt was professional and probably saved us to stay. Semi-divey, but I had heard good things. I was not impressed. I'd rather drive to Bloomsburg to Berrigans or another sandwich place than to feel like an impostor to Bob's. I won't be back. read more

I love the food from this place, but it's unfortunate that I need to write this poor review. The last THREE times I've ordered here, the order was messed up. I used to order subs from here at least once a week for delivery. It's a shame that the person taking the orders can read the order back to me correctly on the phone, but when it shows up to my house it's wrong and slathered with disgusting mayo. The last two times the owner, Robert, was very apologetic and comped me my meal when I had to drive to the sub shop to get a new hoagie, but this third time is my last time ordering from there for a very long time. read more

$5 SUB!!!!! Love this place! Best subs with great fresh bread. Their pizza is also really yummy with good sauce. Definitely a take-out place- it is family run and the staff is very friendly. I go there whenever I'm in town. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. read more

Ordered a pizza from Bob's on the 17th and was told 45 minutes. Ok that happens, but I went to pick up 1 hour later to give extra time and it still wasn't ready. While waiting I got a headache from the loud constant noise from the exhaust fans and the beer cooler humming. The older woman working the register I noticed is not a people person and sho uh led not be answering the phone or waiting on customers. In the end I got my pizza 80 minutes after ordering and it was over baked and dry. Won't be going back. read more

Bobs "Philly Style" Subs should really change their name considering the fact that they can not fucking cook. How do you say you sell wings and boneless wings but the boneless wings are literally chicken nuggets with bbq sauce I could buy at the grocery store on the side. Then the wings literally look like a squirrels feet with the sauce poured on top NOT EVEN TOSSED WITH THE WINGS! DISGUSTING I DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you want Philly Style food you must go to Philly because these people are lying in there name. first, last and only time i've been there. they were out of ingredients for what i wanted, a cheesesteak. i ordered a pizza. way overdone. burnt crust, cheese was dark brown. never again! this happened on 5/31. there are other places in town who can make a pizza! read more

Customer service is non existent. Waited 20 min while the girl finished her gab session to her friend on her cell phone. We sat & waited. She never asked us what we wanted. I had to approach her on my cane to give the order. Philly cheese steaks are a joke. And over priced. Never went there again. read more
