THANK GOD I didn't have any of my 4 young children in the car or I wasn't on the freeway where we could have gotten hurt or hurt others. We got our car towed to Engine and Transmission Exhange who said our oil was BONE DRY and our engine is ruined. It would cost us $11,000 to repair. Also, during the oil change on 8/29 the tech could not find where to put the dipstick back and dropped it into the engine compartment then after finding it just quickly shoved it back somewhere and moved on. We filed a claim with valvolines and Shawn the manager was rude and TERRIBLE with communication and his customer service. He denied the claim which is very obviously due to their negligence. Tires Plus: if my dad thinks I should go to there, then I go to there…read more In this case, it was a case of a cracked wheel... no bueno! So, to Tires Plus I went at the behest of my vehicle-loving father. Easy peasy. The guy at the front desk was suuuuper nice. Walked us through everything. (He may have been the manager? I'm not sure.) Based on the in/out experience, super quick timeline, and front desk dude friendliness, I'd be giving this place five stars! That said, it gets a little hairy after that. Not long after I got back to MKE, I noticed the car was sort of "off-balance." Shaky, if you will. Turns out the wheel hadn't been secured to the vehicle in the proper manner after replacement, causing not only annoying imbalance but an actual potential for danger as had I kept driving on the thing, the wheel could've just fallen off, straightaway. (Maybe on the highway?) So my dad checks all the wheels and tightens/secures them; he's furious with Tires Plus. I am surely taken aback as scenarios of me careening off the Hoan bridge play through my head, but barring anything actually happening, it's more of a "well someone wasn't really paying attention/was hungover or something that day" kind of thing that I laughed off. My dad, however, was not laughing. (He takes car stuff reallllly seriously; I think it's his way of showing how much he cares.) He called to rip them a new one. So! Three stars, because front of the house manager/front desk dude was awesome. The process was easy. Someone on the back end clearly wasn't up to par, though, and for that, I have to marry my five star initial experience with the one star follow-through on the job.
