However, when you buy in bulk (large quantities), you get a discount. Crawfish season ends in June. I wish that they have more selection of seafood, such as clams, fish, crabs, etc. Be aware that live blue crabs are sold out fast! Their hours vary, but they are usually opened Thursday - Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM. And on Sunday, about 9 AM to about 3 PM. Give this place a try for their fresh seafood from the Mayport!

We showed up and it was closed for a private party, which honestly felt like a bust at first. So we pivoted and decided to try somewhere new and ended up at Junior's. Best decision we could have made. From the second we walked in, the staff took great care of us. Super friendly, welcoming, and on it the whole time. The food came out fast, hot, and everything was on point. The seafood was fresh, the fried items were crispy and clean, not greasy, and the sauces were legit. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. And then we topped it off by taking a whole key lime pie home with us which was just as good as everything else. They even took a photo of our family for us, which was a cool touch and just shows the kind of place this is. Safe to say what started as a backup plan just turned into our new favorite seafood spot. On my first visit (a Wednesday), I waited over an hour just to be seated....only to find out they were completely out of oysters for the week. That was frustrating, especially after such a long wait. I decided to give them another shot this past Wednesday, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, it didn't improve. This time, I was told that oysters can no longer be prepared a certain way because it's considered a "special order." Instead, you're limited to however they choose to serve them.....either raw or lightly steamed. For a seafood spot, that's a bit surprising. Most people have a preference when it comes to oysters, and being told you can't customize your order feels restrictive. After speaking with the manager, she did agree to accommodate my request this one time (for one or two dozen), but also made it clear that moving forward, it wouldn't be allowed. That response didn't sit well with me....it gave the impression that customer preferences aren't really a priority. Between the long wait times, limited availability, and lack of flexibility with orders, I left feeling unpleased and unsatisfied. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll be returning.
